Introduction
Welcome to Myste a new and improved brought-back board from the Past! As it just starting out we have alot to look forward to. Dueling Club, Actual quidditch and many other things we hope to see you as a member soon. Of course, guidlines are a must for a sucessful board and here in this topic are were they are located.
The Administration
Here at Myste we have an adminstration set-up like most Boards. Plus, we have one moderator that makes sure everything goes smooth while one of us Admins aren't able to be on. Bethany, for one, helps run the forums and makes the Role Playing more realisitc and canon. Hayden, myself, I run the boards, make rules, and code everything. Anna, we have no idea on what the hell is going on. She's never here so its what we like to call 'taboo' with her.
Jessica, our lovely moderator isn't as active as the admins because she is only needed as certain times. However, sometimes you can see her browsing the board looking for things to contact admin about. Also, please Direct Questions to Hayden, the other Admins aren't responsible for your questions so if you send them questions about the board it will be ignored.
Registration of New Members
New members are required to register with a first and last name. I don't want to delete for having netspeak as your username. Also, if you forget to add a first or last name just contact Hayden and it will be added manually. We encourage for you to be creative and come up with your own character names, but if you would like you may be related to a canon character if it is passed by a admin (Hayden) if you are interesting in being related to a canon character, please have a background history that is believable and realistic, please PM Hayden and details will be handed out from there.
Getting Sorted
Getting sorted is fairly simple at Myste. During times of the year the sorting hat will open up, you will submit a sorting form and from there on the Sorting Hat will sort you!

Posting After Being Sorted
Please remain from posting ANYWHERE in the castle until you are sorted, its just more work for the admins if your not accepted then we have to go through and get rid of all your posts. So, technically, if you post serious actions will be taken, sorted or not sorted. Also, please lets not even begin to bring up sexual descrimation, religion, or harassing any of your fellow members. This is just a role play game, and we all must remember that.
And if you register before the sorting, please Role Play your hearts out in Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade Station, Hogsmeade, or London and Beyond. I believe that is quite enough to satify you all.
*If you have problem with a member, please contact an Admin or take your comments/suggestions to PM's I do not want to see arguements on these boards for public view. Its just not going to happen while I'm around. Also, if I do happen to see any of that serious actions will be taken.
* Please keep Out of Character chatting to a limit during In character posts. Its just hectic and hard to read through. Thats what the Off Topic section is for, please please read this rule and abide by it. I don't want to go all icky on you.
* During your Role Playing keep it as Third Person, its better to understand that way.
* I do not have a limit on how much you have to write for an RP. Thats one of the joys of Myste. You can type novels, or short RPs were not picky, we just want you to enojy your membership here.
Ambience Characters
This is a Harry Potter canonical Role Play Game and in order for this to be canon we must have a wide variety of Ambience Characters. But, wait, what is an ambience character, exactly? An Ambience Character is a character that makes the Role Playing more interesting and canonical. They include ghosts, House Elves, Forest Creatures, Creatures in general, Portraits or Painting, suits of armor, etc.
To Be an Ambience Character, when we are are having job applications acceptable there will a be a form for you to apply to, then send that to Myste Applications.
Staff Members
A Staff member is a very trusted person who qualifies, for the position. We see a staff member as someone that is active and know what they are doing. For one, becoming a staff member takes time and time is very much needed especially if you are a professor or assisting one. You will be required to do what you need on time or risk losing your position.
To become a Staff member: When we are accepting Job Applications there will be a form for you to apply to, then send that form to Myste Applications. Afterwards, you will recieve a PM on your application giving you a yes or no.
