Title: Capital One Bowl
Description: Wisconsin vs. Auburn

I never expected the Badgers to play as well as they have so far. Up 17-0 with about 2 minutes left in the first half is pretty damn good for them. I guess they want to send Barry Alvarez out the right way.

Wow...I'm hoping tomorrow that the guy at work who asked me who to bet isn't pissed. I told him Auburn was gonna mess up Wisconsin.

As a Wisconsin fan, I can tell you that myself & many others expected the same. They aren't on the same level talentwise, but somehow they keep playing well. It's a real testament to Alvarez's ability as a coach.

Brandon Williams is going out with a bang. 5 catches for 161 yards & a touhdown so far.

yes...and according to the announcer, he let out an "expleecitive" when they told him what his injury was...
edit: it'll require surgery

Well, I guess he's not going to leave now. Unfortunately I was working today & unable to watch the game. I was worried about them overusing him by playing him both ways. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.
EDIT: I would imagine that Calhoun's performance makes it easier for him to declare. I doubt he goes any earlier than the middle of the 2nd round though.

alright...now onto the positives...everybody, and i mean EVERYBODY stepped up today...
jon stocco FINALLY threw the ball (very) well in a big game...granted, it seemed like he always had a WR who was wide, but he was really impressive today...towards the end of the game, i didn't even have to hold my breath when he dropped back...
williams and calhoun, WOW...they were unfreakinstoppable, even though williams didn't get anything going on punt returns...
the matchup of m'boy jack ikegwuonu (a.k.a. jake ikuwaku) against devin aramanshu/ben obomanu was just priceless...bob davie barely has an understanding of the english language, and they expect him to pronounce those names? jeez...
our D actually learned how to tackle...they were HUGE early, and sealed auburn's fate on the first 3 or 4 drives...
