GAME OVER steelers are on a roll.

nepg - January 22, 2006 09:28 PM (GMT)
Garbage ass Broncos.

talltorrec145 - January 22, 2006 09:28 PM (GMT)
this is hideous, they get a break and sitll cant stop them

K0nKuzh0n - January 22, 2006 09:28 PM (GMT)
lol how about that play that bettis went basicly untouched for a td, even tho it was called back.

Jojo - January 22, 2006 09:37 PM (GMT)
Howdy fellas.

No-MIstake JAke? IDTS, not today.

marroncito - January 22, 2006 09:37 PM (GMT)
The Steelers are killing them on intensity. AFter almost every play the Steelers are jumping around congradulating each other and keeping each other hyped up. They seem to be moving faster than the Broncos. Not because they're quicker, but because they're more intense right now. Will Shanahan be able to fire up the Broncos in the locker room? Otherwise the rest of the game could be boring. I wonder if the Steelers would put in back ups if that happened?

Denver has to adjust, adjust, adjust. And settle Plummer tf down. He's getting the yips.....

Jojo - January 22, 2006 09:42 PM (GMT)
ever notice there's a dominant DB in every playoff series every yr? Like ricky Manning for CArolina 2 yrs ago.

Maybe Polamalu is that guy this season. DeShea Townsend seems to be getting it done too. He's a flea-sized db, but he's hell on the corner blitz. FOrmer Bama player too.

JimmyPage - January 22, 2006 10:09 PM (GMT)
Denver's gameplan is just awful. The punt rush + soft cushion in coverage isn't going to work against the Steelers. On offense, what are they doing? No identity today at all.

Jojo - January 22, 2006 10:14 PM (GMT)
Howdy Jimmy. How're things in Fresno?

Denver needs to get that defenisve turnover right freaking now --- time's a'wastin', tick tock.

Oh GOd, I hate this commercial -- it's so subliminallly gay. 2 guys dancing together at work....cmon.

speardefense33 - January 22, 2006 10:15 PM (GMT)
Don't hide your true feelings, jojo.

jeffjay13 - January 22, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)
Polamalu is a beast. That screen on 3rd and 10 at the 2 yardline...guy came out of nowhere and dropped the back like nothing. I still think Pittsburgh should have gone for it on one of those 4th downs inside the 34 yard line...put the nail in the coffin if they convert and drive for a touchdown.

And now we see the REAL Jake Plummer. Huge return by Charlie Adams and next play a terrible pick right into the arms of Larry Foote. Nice job, Jake.

Troy P is taking over the playoffs!

Steelers are the final 4 team wit h the mojo magic this yr.

So far.....

Luke, whadya think about a Steelers-Seahawks sb ?

Jojo - January 22, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Troy tried to rip his arm off.

Jojo - January 22, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
If the steelers make it to detroit, will it be the nfl rcd. for most sb appearances?

BigChanduski - January 22, 2006 11:07 PM (GMT)
I can't prove it because no one was in my living room with my dad and I, but I said this game is all about offensive lines. Whoever's OL played better was going to win.

speardefense33 - January 22, 2006 11:31 PM (GMT)
An honest question to those bitter Cinci and Patriot fans: Do you honestly believe your team could match up with the team that Pittsburgh took the field with today?

The Patriots lost to the Broncos who lost to the Steelers...I'd say it's a fair assessment.

Matt Miller - January 23, 2006 12:28 AM (GMT)
Eh, that's never fair to do though. That's like saying Ohio State could beat USC because they beat Notre Dame and Notre Dame should have beaten USC.

But it's way a different examples when the team in question lost to one of the other teams. If I say OSU could hang with USC because they were close with Texas, that's kinda dumb.

On another level, I'd honestly say the Steelers almost have to be the Super Bowl favorites right now. They are rolling. They have won their games definitively against strong competition. I just don't think that the Patriots could come from behind against the Steelers, which almost be a guarantee.

Seattle vs Pittsburgh should be a very good game if everyone is healthy.

Well since the Patriots stomped a mud hole in the Steelers the last two times they played and the Patriots are a lot better than they were the last time they played, there's your direct comparison...
