Booty and Kirtman. Classic.

QUOTE (Dr. Z)
Mike Patrick, Joe Theismann and Paul Maguire, ESPN -- How is it earthly possible to drop from half a star to none? Easy. They used to provide a teeny weeny bit of information. Now they provide none. And they contradict themselves, often from one series to the next. I don't think they're really fully aware of what they're saying.

Because they chose to go for it on 4th down everytime?? Its not like they havent ran into a 4th down

Yes, I don't understand why they didn't punt on 4th and 5 and 4th and 8. They went for it on 4th and 8 while up 4 TDs.

At least they're not getting embarrassed by JD. That's a good thing.

ok rolleyes.gif . VY threw 3 tds, 3 yds, 31 yds and 8 yds. TExas rushed for 6 tds. we had more rush yards than pass. not our fault we started 4 drives in Colorado territory and 2 drives near midfield

Dear UCLA and Colorado,

Thank you for your performances in today's games. You came so close to pulling off victories and helping Penn State into the Rose Bowl... for the first 1 1/2 seconds of each game anyway it was close.

no offense brownie, but i'm not seeing PSU hanging close at all with Texas or USC.

Honestly I don't think Penn State would win either, but I'm not so sure either game would be a blowout. PSU can hang around with anyone with their defense. But yes, yesterday definitely proved that USC and Texas are unquestionably the top 2 teams in the country.

Doesn't mean I still wasn't hoping for a big upset, especially since both teams looked beatable in the past couple weeks.

so after like halftime or so i decide to go out to dinner with my friends, to Jed's, which is like a sports oriented wings place, with a shitload of TV's everywhere, including like the 4th quarter of the USC UCLA game. As our hostess is showing us our way (by the way, all the working people are hot college aged women who dressed in rather degrading ways, but we don't care) and i'm like (as a one-liner) "look at that booty go" and my hostess turns around and is like, waht the f*ck? i started laughing and explained everything to her.
