This year I am going to try and pull off something that I don't believe has ever been done. An Experts Mock Draft.

I'm assembling the top minds in the Draft World and assigning them the responsibility as GM of their favorite team for the 2006 NFL Draft.

As the lottery draws closer and the teams fill up, hopefully with a rep from every well visited site and some journalists from top places like ESPN and PFW, the draft will begin.

Here's the link needed.

Tom Kowalski seems like A. A good rep for the lions and B. Pretty easy to access. He works for mlive.com, although i disagree at times on his opinion.

I would be willing to take the Cowboys if no one else wants them.

If you can help me get in contact with him, that would be great.

I don't want to flood this with Blitz guys, but if the 10 or so emails I've sent out don't come back with Cowboys fans, I'll put you on there Rob.

Heh, I even emailed ConDraft.

For the Dolphins, you may want to e-mail the admins at Finheaven and Dolphindigest.com.

If you don't want Chandler to do it, try Zac Jackson of Clevelandbrowns.com. He's our age (not that that matters) and into the draft.

OK no problem, you might try to get Joe Rodriguez, who is the owner of www.thedallascowboys.net

His e-mail is:

webmaster@thedallascowboys.net

I will accept any expert for the Cowboys as long as it isn't Mickey Spagnola, their official in-house suck-up who masquerades as a sportswriter. The Football Gods will punsih you if you let the team or Jerry Jones pick your team "expert."

Same thing with Millen & the Lions.

If you want a Seahawks rep, you should look into getting Rob Rang from NFLDraftScout.com

Rang is one of the best draft scouts period and on top of that his knowledge of the Seahawks is immense. To cap it off, he absolutly nailed the Tatupu pick and said that it was a great pick from day 1 and that the Tatupu jerseys would be all over Qwest Field.

Actually... Bill Simmons was my first choice, but I'm not sure if the email address I had for him was still good. So I'm waiting on him to email me back.

I'm cool with that...not that I think Simmons is any kind of football mind.

If you need somebody else for that list Matt, I'm available. Then again, I'm not sure if you want to have too many people from this site.
