I think that this is going to be an awesome, close game. I don't think that the score difference will be more than 10 points. I expect my Giants to pull it out, though, by a score of 27-21.

Good start for Osi.

Anyway, I like the Giants to win a close one.

I think Carolina will win but I'm rooting for the Giants because it's financially beneficial for me to have the Panthers out of the playoffs.

Who knows what you going to get from the Carolina Panthers. They are as inconsistent a playoff as I have seen in a long time. Some day, the Defense is dominant, some day they are quite mortals. The Offense shows flashes here and there but most days they have trouble moving the chains...

The Giants should be able to pull it off because of the dominant plays of their D-ends. all Manning needs to do is protect the ball

Giants: 27 Panthers: 20

Anyway, Feagles has been great so far. The Giants are getting dominated at the LOS, and they have major LB problems.
It's just Greisen left (of the originals), and he injured his arm. They have Keith Lewis and Alonzo Jackson in there, with Jay Foreman as a backup.

Because Tim Lewis wants him to cover Smith.

The refs suck. Shockey was tackled, yet there was no call.

Giants absolutely suck today. But Carolina has an excellent defense.

Well I think its safe to say this, wait maybe I should just let it go. Ah screw it, hey Shockey....

TOLD YA SO!

I told ya the Giants couldn't win an important game. I told ya they couldn't beat a strong team. I told ya they couldn't finish a game. Just as I told you Eli wouldn't be able to get it done in the playoffs.

23-0 with 2:41 left in the 4th.

They can't win the big games that true but this lost can't be put all on Eli his WR/TE ran like pussy out there and would NEVER go for the ball. The whole team look flate and that D just got ran over left and right.

I didn't say the whole loss should go on Eli. I was just stating that Eli wasn't going to pull them from behind, or win any big games. He's lost it quite a few times this season in the 2nd half.

I see Brett is predicting winners with his usual expertise ..... biggrin.gif

This is the worst I have ever seen a Giants team perform in playoff game. Zero catches for Plaxico, Manning throwing more INTs than completions to his own receivers..... Jeez.

Curse of COughlin? No, just excellent defense from the Panthers & little or none from the Giants. DId you see all those 3rd & longs & they got hte 1st on runnig & draw plays to Foster? They had no fear of the Giants D-line.

Best stat: Fox & Carolina had the #1 receiver in yardage & scoring 2 yrs. running in Muhammed in 04 & Steve Smith in 05 -- he's doing something right.

Eli won the Denver game for the Giants. So you're statement of "Eli wasn't going to pull them from behind" is false. Unless you are refering to today's game.

Giants got their asses-whooped. Yet, we did alot better than we expected this season. I thought we would be an 8-8 team at best, but we were 11-5, and made won the division. I'm disappointed with our playoff performance, but I'm happy with the season overall. I'm not worried about Eli, he will be a Pro Bowl Quarterback next season. We need to get some secondary and linebacker help. We had way too many linebacker injuries in order to win. Our secondary sucks. We need an elite corner. I say that we try to trade up for Jimmy Williams. If not, draft Chad Greenway. We have an excellent future, but today was not our day. I said next year is our year, but we'll see. Good season, shitty ending.

I think it would have been a different game if NY's Antonio Pierce and co were healthy. Maybe they would have lost but the Panthers wouldn't have been able to run all over the field like they just did

220 yards on the ground is pretty impressive. I agree though, Pierce and co would have shaved some of those yards off. However, Delhomme wasn't really challenged this game - he didn't have to make many big throws. Therefore I see the Panthers winning this game if the Giants are healthy.

And the Giants would have had another possession or two. Antonio Pierce was our leader. We had three backups at linebacker. We need Pierce back. I agree, if we had Pierce, the game would have been a little different.

14-31, 137 Yards, no Touchdowns, two Interceptions? 41-0 loss in the playoffs? This Quarterback sucks.

Who is it?

Peyton Manning. In his fifth year.

Yeah, he has a QB who likes to lock in on one WR all the time.

Every good QB has a bad game once in a while. The difference is that Eli hasn't enough good game to excuse bad games. He's had more bad than good, so far.

I'm kind of disappointed by Eli. He looked good at the beginning of the season, but he seemed to only get worse as the season progressed.
