Title: Duece Ace Fight
Description: Special celebrity judge: Chiaki!
Baxter - September 21, 2006 11:19 AM (GMT)
Prelude:
“Sweet,” said Baxter as he left his house. He was going to have a match with Barret again, but this time it would be a real match, not just some stupid sword match. Granted, he would be using his sword jutsu during the match, but that was beside the point. He had offered to have a rematch after their last bout, and they were finally having it. Baxter heard Barret had learned a new jutsu, but didn’t care, thinking that Barret would probably need it. Arriving at a training ground, Baxter began to do a light warm up. After hitting a log a good twenty times, he began to jog a couple laps. After finishing with his warm up, Baxter then began on his way to the battle grounds.
They would be battling in a deep part of a forest, a part where trees could supposedly grow to a towering height of over one hundred feet. Baxter figured he had the advantage in the fight, as he was a Monkey Paw stylist, and as such excelled at forest and jungle combat. Though he felt confident he was going to win, Baxter had taken time of his own to make sure he would win. He had devised a strategy to help him win the match, as well as studied Barret’s style of fighting, and determined his strengths and weaknesses. Baxter knew of his clans powers, and with his large chakra reserves, it could prove devastating. Baxter also knew of Barret’s Raiton jutsu, but had come up with a way to counter them.
Coming close to the forest, Baxter began to think over his plan once more. It depended greatly on timing, something Baxter had been working on to help him perfect his strategy. If it ended up working, Baxter would incorporate it into other strategies for battles. Looking in through the forest, Baxter attempted to navigate it. ‘Dang, this is going to be hard to find this battle site. And with my plan, he’ll never find me in the forest, nor will he be able to dodge my attacks,’ thought Baxter with a snicker. As he arrived to the clearing were the fight would be taking place, Baxter began to look around. The clearing was a good twenty meters in diameter, and on the edge of the clearing was vines, with what Baxter saw was thorns all over them.
Battle:
Getting ready, Baxter began a key jutsu for the fight. “Kirigakure no jutsu,” said Baxter, creating the mist that would greatly aid him later. Hearing rustling noises coming from behind him, Baxter turned around to see Barret emerging from the forest into the clearing, attempting to see through the already thick mist. Swiftly getting into fighting position, Baxter said, “You ready to begin man?
Getting into his own battle position, Barret responded, “Yeah, start this.” As soon as he finished speaking, Baxter jumped high onto a branch, out of Barret’s short field of vision. Jumping around the branches above the forest clearing, Baxter easily located his target. ‘Alright, this is really going to need a lot of perfect timing to get this right,’ thought Baxter as he began his the next step of his strategy. Jumping down from the trees toward Barret, Baxter rapidly went through had seals.
Right before he came into range of Barret’s attacks, Baxter called out, “Shunshin no jutsu!” Using the mist cover up his disappearance, Baxter quickly reappeared ten meters away from Barret, still in the air, a couple feet over the ground. Acting immediately, Baxter grabbed a senbon that he a had poison tipped and had ninja wire attached to it, as well as a explosion note. ‘Please aim, please hold true,’ pleaded Baxter silently in his mind as he began the detonation of the explosion note and threw the senbon at Barret, which he guided by the wire. Baxter watched as it hit its intended target. But it was not just Barret he had targeted, but a part of Barret in particular. He had aimed for the muscles in the chest between the bones of the ribcage. Baxter’s senbon hit dead center on its target.
The reason he had targeted that part was because if hit Barret, which it did, it would go right into a major artery that went strait into the heart. The heart would naturally distribute the poison through the body as it sent the blood in Barret’s body. The effect would be devastating. Barret looked down to the senbon stuck in his chest only see the explosion note violently go off. As the smoke cleared, Baxter could see that Barret’s clothing was torn into tattered little pieces. Watching Barret clutch his chest, Baxter dropped the wire that Barret could have tracked him by and took off, running around the clearing, and jumping into the forest trees.
Baxter looked on as Barret climbed up the trees as well, seeming intent on capturing the monkey boy. Baxter grimaced as Barret only jumped up a couple branches, not near to point were if he fell it would cause him to take any damage. In response to this, Baxter immediately brought the mist from his Kirigakure jutsu up with him, to keep the playing field in his favor. As Barret landed on a branch, Baxter put the third part of his plan into play. Diving down from his perch in the middle branches, Baxter jumped from tree to tree, gaining momentum, while managing to keep control of his descent. As he rocketed around in the trees, Baxter called to Barret, “Hey, Barret! You may be a good friend and all, but I’m not going to go easy on you! This is going to be a full on shinobi battle, so get ready!”
Baxter continued to rocket around the trees, not giving Barret even a chance to track him. Soon enough, Baxter finally jumped right to where he needed to be, and landed on a tree parallel to Barret. However, Baxter didn’t stay even for a full second on tree, as attempted to keep his momentum, and shot at Barret like a bullet. As he shot out at Barret, Baxter rapidly performed hand seals to his favorite jutsu. Baxter then said quietly to himself, as to not warn Barret of his location, “Chakra Ittou.” As the chakra sword materialized in his hand, Baxter speed closer and closer to Barret, until he was in range to attack. When Baxter finally got in range, Baxter quickly slashed with his word, specifically Barret’s wrist. His cut landed with perfect accuracy, cutting deep into Barret’s wrist.
‘Yes this is perfect,’ thought Baxter in his head. The battle was going right according to Baxter’s plan. Landing on another tree, Baxter immediately turned around and jumped at Barret again. This time, however, Barret’s back was turned as he clutched his wrist in pain. ‘Brilliant,’ thought Baxter as he once again went through hand seals. Again he whispered, “Chakra Ittou no jutsu.” As he once again neared in range, Baxter held his sword, ready to strike when it was time. As soon as he got close enough, Baxter slashed again, but this time with a new target. The back of Barret’s knees. The slash was once again dead on. This time, after he slashed, he stopped on the branch, and quickly jumped up higher in the trees. Thinking over what he had done, Baxter thought, ‘Now that I cut their, His tendons should be cut, and he’ll be slower than ever.’ Landing a branch Baxter then looked down to Barret to see his handy work.

Barret - September 23, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
Prelude:
“Here we go again.” Barret said as he looked up to the sky in front of his house. The warm sun beating its rays onto his face as he continued to look up. Yet again he would be going head to head with one of his friends to see if he could hold his own against the monkey boy Baxter this time around. They both had a spar against each other before, back when Barret first got his bowblade, and of course he lost to Baxter since he wasn’t use to a sword yet. This was going to be different, because he had gotten use to the blade and believed he could actually win.
Barret had gotten a tip that the battle would in a forest somewhere around Konoha, and that meant he wouldn’t have to waste his chakra jumping around to find it, he could just walk. He also heard that the trees were over a hundred feet tall, and he could imagine the impact at the bottom. That also meant he had to watch his step, because not only was the fall going to be devastating, but because Baxter was in fact like a monkey and that meant he would be at home in the trees. However, the trees are also a place where the birds live, but that wasn’t going to help Barret right now as he thought while he walked to the battleground. All he had to do was keep his head straight and he might be able to pull a win out his ass if not anything else.
The free bird looked up at the towering trees and was awestruck at the sight of them being close to the description he had heard. The person had lied to him, these trees towered was over a hundred feet and didn’t show any sign of stopping their growth. All of sudden he didn’t think that keeping his head straight would help in this fight, he wasn’t even sure if he could pull of a victory with the height of the trees working towards Baxter’s advantage. But he was already out here, and he was going to see the fight all the way through, even if it meant that he might fall from the highest branch all the way to the ground, but then again that also made Barret want to stay and actually fight the good fight.
Battle:
A thick mist rolled aver the field and Barret’s sight was cut off. Baxter had already gained the upper hand by using the jutsu, and the Akadou didn’t have anyway to get rid of it. The genin was completely cut off from the entire battle, nothing could get through this mist. Wait! Barret head snapped up as he began to twist and turn, acting like he was looking for his target. “You ready to begin man?” Baxter asked through the mist.
You never say anything this mist Baxter. Barret thought as he replied to the statement. “Yeah, start d this.”
Barret kept his back turned to the voice, but kept his head over his shoulder looking in the direction Baxter’s voice came from. A sharp pain entered the boy’s chest, he looked down to see a senbon with a piece of paper wrapped around it. An explosion soon occurred while Barret realized his guess was right. Smoke blew through the mist, along with chunks of tree bark from nearby trees and other rubble kicked u by the explosion. He couldn’t pull the needle out fast and most of clothes were tattered because of it.
Barret instinctively began to jump from branch to branch, trying to climb above the mist so he wouldn’t get caught in it, but it kept moving up with him. Seems like Baxter’s moving up with me, or maybe he’s already ahead of me. Barret thought while he stopped on one of the lowest branches so if he fell he wouldn’t receive to much damage. But it didn’t matter right now, he still couldn’t see his target, it didn’t matter how high he went he would never be able to find Baxter in this mist. “Hey, Barret! You may be a good friend and all, but I’m not going to go easy on you! This is going to be a full on shinobi battle, so get ready!”
“Dude, I was born ready!” Barret said as he prepared for a jutsu that might give him an advantage the next time Baxter attack. “Come on if you’re ready.”
Barret listened as he heard footsteps landing onto a nearby branch not to far away. He kept his attention on that area, making sure that he would be surprised and to make sure that Baxter wouldn’t try anything to sneaky. Then, the monkey boy appeared, dashing at Barret like a bullet with chakra around his hand. The Akadou threw his arm back and concentrated, making sure that he had a good judgment on how far away the Usagi was. His arm was now covered with electrified chakra.
Not yet. Barret thought to himself as Baxter kept coming closer. Just a little bit more. Sweat dropped from his chin as he saw the Usagi almost face to face with him, with the same playful smirk he always had when things were going his way, but not this time. “Kuuden Danchaku!” Barret’s arm shot around him, and landed right into Baxter’s face, stopping his attack head on. He could feel as the electricity left his arm and enter the Usagi’s body. The monkey boy backed away and he saw a small surge of electricity being conducted through the Akadou’s fingers. Unfortunately, Barret wasn’t as lucky as the first time, waiting a second after using the strongest lightning jutsu he knew. During that time Baxter successfully connected his attack to the boy’s knee, and just as quickly as he had appeared he had disappeared, into the mist.
“That move took a lot of me.” Barret thought as he reached for his bowblade and unsheathing it to use it once he found Baxter. “I think I should hold back on the jutsu for the time being.”
Barret jumped from branch to branch, trying to find his opponent in the thickest mist ever to hit this battlefield. The Akadou couldn’t jump from to far, so he had to run along branches to find another one that was close enough for him to get to. He was basically running in circles, then he heard something. “Got ya.” Barret said as he placed his sword back into its sheath and pulled out his windmill shuriken, an exploding note, and some of his ninja wire.
Barret landed on a branch right above and he could barely make out the outline of his opponent. He quickly placed the note on one of the blades and just as quickly prepared the wire. The genin jumped down and hurled the shuriken at him, using the wire to direct its movements to make sure it hit the figure. The blade hit and a sudden explosion sounded and was gone just as he landed in front of the tattered Usagi and unsheathing his blade. He quickly swiped at Baxter’s chest, hoping to leave a gash there that he would never forget. Barret backed away and pulled the trigger on his blades hilt, sending a blast of his own chakra at the target.

Baxter - September 26, 2006 09:47 PM (GMT)
‘Holy crap,’ thought Baxter thinking over what had just happened not even a few minutes ago. Replaying what happened in his head, Baxter tried to figure out what had happened as he jumped along the branches of the trees. The Usagi had came almost face to face with the Akadou, with the same playful smirk he always had when things were going his way. But it had seemed luck, was not on his side, as Barret cried, “Kuuden Danchaku!” Barret’s arm then shot around him, and landed nearly right in Baxter’s face. Seeing Barret, swing his arm towards him with electricity I his hand, Baxter tried to react quickly. Instead of focusing on going forward like he had been doing earlier, Baxter had shifted his weight towards his back, and started doing a back flip. The monkey boy continued his back flip and somehow, completely got away undamaged from that by going under the attack.
As the battle raged on, Baxter jumped from tree to tree, from branch to branch, attempting to keep his opponent from finding him by jumping into the thickest mist ever to hit this battlefield. He knew the Akadou couldn’t jump very far from where he was, so Baxter made sure to keep the distance wide between them and not allow Barret to know where he was. In his caution to prevent being found, Baxter realized that he had to go back on the offensive. Taking out the two remaining motes in his pouch, he quickly attempted to devise a strategy. Thinking over his new idea, Baxter looked back at his opponent. Barret was basically running in circles, and Baxter decided on what exactly what to do. Tying his notes to a senbon with some ninja wire attached to it and began his next step of his plan. Acting quickly, Baxter grabbed a branch and hit it against a tree. Looking back at Barret, Baxter heard him say, “Got ya,” as Barret placed his sword back into its sheath and pulled out his windmill shuriken, an exploding note, and some of his ninja wire.
As he continued watching, Baxter saw with a smile that as Barret landed on a branch he could most likely be barely able make out Baxter’s outline of his opponent. Barret then quickly placed the note on one of the blades and just as quickly prepared the wire. The genin jumped down and hurled the shuriken at Baxter, using the wire to direct its movements, trying to make sure it hit the Baxter. Before the blade hit, Baxter made a rapid succession of hand seals and instantly disappeared into the mist. A sudden explosion sounded and Baxter was gone. Just as Barret landed in front of the were he thought the tattered Usagi would be, he unsheathing his blade. Looking around in surprise, Barret did not see Baxter reappear above him. Before Barret could realize what was going on, Baxter began the detonation of the explosion notes on his senbon and threw it near Barret’s spinal cord. The senbon struck home, making Barret freeze for a second as his nerves were attacked. ‘While I might know where all the nerves in your body are, so I can’t hit them directly like ANBU or med-nins, but I know that a lot are around the spine, and their all so sensitive. Hm, I wonder what those explosion tags that I attached will do to his now sensitive nerves? I guess I’ll just have to find out,’ thought Baxter as he saw the two explosion tags explode.
After the smoke cleared, Baxter looked into where the free bird was when the explosion went off. Barret was standing there, slightly moving. What was left over from the clothes on his upper body before were now completely gone. His back was slightly burned and looked to be slightly painful even after the explosion was over. ‘Maybe I over did it?’ wondered Baxter as he continued looking at Barret. Shaking his head, Baxter then thought ‘Naw, he’ll be fine after the match. I’ll just get him to a med-nin after this is over and make sure that he gets healed. What Barret then did, nearly caught Baxter off guard. Barret jumped up to the branch Baxter was on landed in front of the Usagi and unsheathed his blade. He quickly swiped at Baxter’s chest, leaving a gash that was painful, but would heal after the fight. Baxter then watched as Barret backed away and pulled the trigger on his blades hilt, sending a blast of his own chakra at the monkey genin.
The attack hit Baxter, who was already thinking up a new strategy. Well this time it was not so much as a strategy, as an attempt to gain an upper hand by just beating his opponent down. Almost instinctively, Baxter once again went through hand seals. Creating his sword, Baxter clashed his Chakra Ittou against Barret’s sword. As they continued slashing at each other, Baxter thought, ‘Well as it seems Barret has gotten better.’ ‘But I’m still better than him as a swordsman,’ concluded Baxter as he exploited a weakness in Barret’s defense, and struck him with a slash. This time, the slash was diagonally downward, and as Barret’s grabbed his gash while in the air, he failed to notice that he was falling. Falling straight down to the ground forty feet below them. He promptly landed with a loud, painful sounding crash.

Barret - October 1, 2006 08:10 PM (GMT)
Not good. Barret thought as he leaned against a tree looking at the Usagi coming right at him. How did he dodge that attack at that range?
The free bird searched his pouch and pulled out a little baggie tied with a white string. He untied the string an pulled out the single content that he had left. He popped the hyourougan pill into his mouth and began to chew it and swallow, releasing its contents into his gut. Chakra coursed from his stomach and into his limbs and he could some of his chakra being restored. “Now where was I?” Barret asked as he looked back at the Usagi through the mist. “Holding this here is taking a lot out of him.”
Barret looked up saw a senbon coming down from over his shoulder, aimed right at his back. Oh hell no. He thought as he rushed through hand seals. “Kawarimi no jutsu!” The free bird disappeared into a cloud of smoke as he fetched a nearby log to take his place. He heard a deep blast and looked back to see that the log was blown to pieces by not one, but two exploding notes wrapped around the pick. Is Baxter actually trying to kill me?
Baxter’s final attack hit head on with another of his Chakra Swords, which was proving to be a nuisance. He fell off the edge but quickly caught his balance as he sent chakra to his feet to keep him from falling any farther. Of course Baxter seemed to think h fell because he didn’t see him on the lowest branch he could see. Again the Akadou went through hand seals and left them stuck in the tiger seal. “Sennen Goroshi!” The free bird stuck his sealed fingers into Baxter’s butt, sending him fly from the area, but in enough view.
“You’re mine.”
Barret dashed as fast as he could trying to keep the monkey boy in his sight. He reached into his pouch again and pulled out something that would make sure his attack hit its target and hopefully leave him stunned. The free bird saw the Usagi and threw the smoke grenade down in front of him, covering his entrance in a cloud of smoke. “Here you go, just like before.” Barret said as he slung his arm around again, this time cutting the charge time in half and sending the electrified fist into his friends stomach. “Kuuden Danchaku!”
Baxter stepped backward from the impact and almost fell off the branch they were on. Barret left out of there thought and didn’t know if his friend had fallen off or was behind him. Either way he was starting to run real low on chakra and didn’t know how much longer he could survive.
Battle Summary

Baxter - October 28, 2006 01:29 AM (GMT)
‘Dang it, that jerk! He dodged my attack! Those senbon were supposed to weaken him to the point that he would fall out of the fight after my chakra sword hit him. I’ve got to beat him,’ thought Baxter, angry that Barret had dodged his attack. ‘Anyway, I’ve got to drop this mist. It may be good in the beginning of the fight, when I need every advantage I can get, but as the fight progress, it takes too much chakra,’ Baxter then rationalized, as he dropped the kirigakure. Then thinking about it, Baxter started to wonder why he didn’t want to lose to Barret. It wasn’t like losing to Hebi, that snake who would rub it in if Baxter lost to him every chance he could get. But then, why didn’t he want to lose to Barret? While deep in thought he almost didn’t notice the movement going on behind him.
Baxter heard the sound of wood being stepped on to see Barret coming up the side of the branch. He then saw the Akadou as he went through hand seals and left them stuck in the tiger seal. Baxter thought in fear, ‘The Tiger seal! That’s for fire jutsu, and with all this wood around us, the place would go up in smoke! Wait a minute, Barret doesn‘t know any fire jutsu. So if he is using a tiger seal for a non-katon jutsu, that could only mean…’
“Sennen Goroshi!” The free bird called, as he attempted to stick his sealed fingers into Baxter’s butt. However, Baxter knowing what jutsu he was going to do, started to do a back flip in the air while he started to perform hand seals.
“Barret, your too loud when you walk, I could hear you coming up the branch a mile away. Now, let me show you are real jutsu. Chakra Ittou!” exclaimed Baxter, as he finished the hand seals while continuing his flip. The chakra sword then formed in his hands, and as his flip nearly ended, he brought it down on Barret’s back. Baxter then landed his flip finally and turned around to see Barret. Barret then dashed as fast as he could at Baxter, making him flinch for a second, stunned to see him already up and running.
Baxter saw Barret reach into his pouch again and pulled out a smoke grenade that. The free bird saw the Usagi and threw the smoke grenade down in front of him, covering his entrance in a cloud of smoke. Baxter then hear Barret say, “Here you go, just like before.” Barret then slung his arm around again, this time cutting the charge time in half and tried to send the electrified fist into his friends stomach. “Kuuden Danchaku!”
However, Baxter stepped backward before the hit came, and expecting something big would be happening because Barret had thrown a smoke grenade, and had begun hand seals. A log instantly took the place of Baxter and Barret’s jutsu only hit wood, completely wasting it. Baxter then placed him self over twenty meters above the ground. Looking down from his current location, he saw Barret with an expression on his face as if he didn’t know if his friend had fallen off the branch or something. Baxter also noted that he was starting to run real low on chakra and Baxter didn’t know how much longer Barret would last in this fight. Using that knowledge, Baxter called down from his current location and said, “Hey Barret! Come get me if you can!”
Barret then began jumping up to Baxter’s height, falling right into Baxter’s plan. Slipping into the shadows, Baxter then implemented the next part of his plan. As Barret steadily climbed the trees, Baxter formed hand seals for his signature jutsu, the chakra sword. His plan was simple. While Barret was ascending through the trees, Baxter would climb higher. Then when Barret reached a certain height, Baxter would turn around and come down to hit Barret with his sword. With his increased from the fall, Barret would be hit with enough force to withdraw from the match. So, rising through the branches and vines of the trees, Baxter looked back to see his friend finally hitting the turning point.
As he turned around and started his long descent, Baxter thought, ‘Still why do I want to beat him so bad? Is it because I want to prove I’m better? Do I want to prove I’m good enough to him? What is it?’ Putting his feet on the tree he was climbing up, Baxter sent chakra to his feet to keep him from falling down to the ground out of control. As he gained speed, Baxter readied himself as he grew closer and closer to Barret. Ready to attack, they finally met at sixty feet above the ground. When he got in range, Baxter immediately swung his chakra sword at Barret, giving him no refuge from his onslaught of attacks. Ultimately Baxter landed a solid, devastating blow on Barret, making sure to knock him off the tree.
Barret fell for a good ten meters, or thirty feet before he hit a branch, hard. Making sure, it wasn’t another trick as before, Baxter rushed down, disabling the jutsu. Baxter then realized something. The reason why he didn’t want to lose this fight. When he was fighting all he cared about was winning, but why had it mattered? He didn’t know before, but he had figured it out finally. Baxter immediately stopped running down, seeing that Barret had indeed fallen on the branch, a large dent in the branch to testify for it. Baxter then yelled down to Barret, “Hey I’ve figured out why I’m not going to lose to you! Its because I’ve caught up to at last in skill, and I won’t let my self lose to you now that were equals. So, if want to beat me, You better want it more than I do, ‘cause were equal now in just about everything except how much we want to win. And right now, I want to win more than you do!”
Then he began his earlier strategy the he had first used at the beginning of the battle. Jumping around through the tree tops, Baxter began gaining speed for another attack. Running through hand seals one last time, he then whispered as to not give away his location, “Chakra Ittou.” Once again, Barret took up guard against Baxter’s attack, knowing what it would be this time. Once again he landed on a tree and launched off it one last time. This time flanking him, Baxter shot at Barret, and after getting in range, struck with his sword at Barret‘s back. But instead of just stopping and hiding back into the leaves again, Baxter crashed into Barret, knocking him off both off them off the edge. But as they began to fall, Baxter quickly stuck his feet against the ledge of the branch and stuck on to it with chakra. However, Baxter also made sure to push Barret off the branch and make sure he didn’t manage to grab onto a branch as he fell down ten meters to the ground, which he landed on with a loud thud.

Barret - November 2, 2006 12:24 AM (GMT)
‘No way!’ Barret thought as he saw Baxter jump out of the way of his ass stabber. That meant he could kiss the rebalance time to attack good bye, and that was going to hold him back if he couldn’t a proper aim. He still went through with the attack however, and came out punching a log dead in the center. ‘Shit, that not even that grenade helped me out.’ The free bird was pissed that neither of his attacks worked, but that was the least of his problems as he watched the Usagi climb higher into the trees. He followed the monkey boy, trying to find a way to hit him or counter his next attack.
Barret stopped and leaned up against the trunk of the tree, holding the wound where the senbon had entered his chest earlier. He could feel the poison running through his veins as it began to eat away at his life, he even felt his chakra begin to dwindle from over using a certain lightning jutsu. “Time to put my clan’s legacy to the test.” Barret whispered as he looked up to see Baxter plummeting down from a high branch with chakra surrounding his hand in a blade like form. The chakra sliced right into the free bird’s left shoulder, the pain coursing through his body as he realized that he no longer had his feet on the branch.
The fall wasn’t that long, but then again the fall itself never killed anyone, it was that sudden stop at the bottom. Barret arched his back as he felt he felt the branch come out of now where and just knocked the shit out of him. The Akadou didn’t waste anytime as he picked himself up and looked up at his attacker. “Hey I’ve figured out why I’m not going to lose to you! Its because I’ve caught up to at last in skill, and I won’t let my self lose to you now that were equals. So, if want to beat me, You better want it more than I do, ‘cause were equal now in just about everything except how much we want to win. And right now, I want to win more than you do!” Barret chuckled after he heard Baxter speak his mind.
“To bad for you.” Barret said holding out his clenched hand with his thumb sticking out in front of him facing the Usagi. “I always bounce back from a fall like that and I go all out at the end.”
Barret watched as his friend closed in, with chakra surrounding his hand again. ’Not again.’ The free bird thought as he took out his windmill shuriken with the wire attached to it. He held the weapon in his teeth as he slipped his middle finger through the loop hole he had put in their earlier because his left arm was acting up at the moment. Anyways, the Akadou took the weapon out of his mouth looked back to see that Baxter was closer than he was before. The genin sent the shuriken flying, trying to stop the Usagi from completing his attack. He had nicked Baxter’s arm that was covered in chakra and watched as he flipped onto the branch and just laid there.
Barret jerked the giant shuriken back with the wire as if it were a yo-yo., and quickly shoved on explosive note onto one of the blades. “You know what Baxter?” The free bird said, preparing to launch the shuriken for a second time in the same sequence. “I don’t really care about this fight, I just wanted to have with my best friend and see how much stronger you have gotten.” Barret launched the shuriken again, and watched as Baxter quickly jumped out of the way. ‘Not so fast.’ The Akadou grabbed the wire with his teeth and quickly yanked it back, watching the shuriken follow its guideline and nail Baxter in the back. A large explosion followed soon after with an impressive light show, and again the shuriken came back to his hand.
‘That was my last Explosive note.’ Barret thought as he clenched his chest again. “Hey Baxter, this is gona be a fight to tell everyone isn’t it?” The genin dropped to the branch with his eyes clenched shut, the poison was stronger than it was a couple of minutes ago. Then it occurred to him, he should always carry around some type of antidote. He just shook it off and rose back to his feet with the shuriken in his hand, and then slid it over his hand onto his wrist and began to rotate his arm. Soon enough the shuriken began to spin at an accelerated rate around the Akadou’s wrist. The boy ran straight for his friend and slug the spinning shuriken into Baxter’s chest where it left a deep gash.
The free bird didn’t stop and ran right off the edge, but turned around and launched the shuriken again with the wire on it. He watched as the blade entered Baxter’s leg and even watched him fall to his knees. Barret landed on the branch that was right across from the he was just on and ran off, trying to put some distance between him and Baxter.

Baxter - December 30, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
‘Crap,’ thought Baxter, as he laid on a tree branch somewhere on the battlefield. He had not expected that counter attack, and it had thrown him off balance, causing to lie down to rest. After laying down for a little while, Baxter jumped back up and went after Barret again. Quickly going through the hand seals for the umpteenth time, Baxter said the name and his Chakra Ittou was ready. Baxter then sprinted off towards Barret, bouncing off the trees, attempting to make himself a harder target to hit. As he ran at Barret, Baxter thought, ‘This is going to be my last offensive. If I can’t win it now, I’m not going to win it at all. I’m too damn low on chakra to deal with this much longer. Barret may be about to keel over, but he still has more chakra than me, which puts me into a dangerous situation.’
Baxter, as he jumped through the trees, saw Barret jerk the giant shuriken back with the wire as if it were a yo-yo., and quickly shoved on explosive note onto one of the blades. The Akadou grabbed the wire with his teeth and quickly yanked it back, watching the shuriken follow its guideline and nearly nailed Baxter in the back.
Baxter, however, had different plans. As the shuriken came ever closer to him, Baxter turned around and cut the string controlling the shuriken with one hand, and grabbed the shuriken with other. Acting quickly, he then threw the shuriken with all of his might at Barret. Barret, caught off guard from his spectacular counter, was hit dead on by the shuriken in the chest, and a large explosion followed soon after with an impressive light show, and again the shuriken came back to his hand. “How did you like that Barret? We may be best friends, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to go easy on you. I’m going to knock you out by the end of this fight, one way or the other!”
“Hey Baxter, this is gona be a fight to tell everyone isn’t it?” The genin dropped to the branch with his eyes clenched shut, the poison was stronger than it was a couple of minutes ago. Baxter saw Barret rise back to his feet with the shuriken in his hand, and then slid it over his hand onto his wrist and began to rotate his arm. Soon enough the shuriken began to spin at an accelerated rate around the Akadou’s wrist. The boy ran straight for Baxter, who was waiting for him in a defensive stance, his chakra blade at the ready. Barret then tried to slug the spinning shuriken into Baxter’s chest where it would have left a deep gash. Baxter, on the other hand was ready for the attack, and jumped just in time. Stepping into a ready stance immediately, Baxter quickly performed a quick-draw attack, creating a large gash in Barret’s chest. Then, jumping up over Barret, Baxter pulled into a spin, and slashed Barret along his back, and giving him Barret an extra push over the edge of the branch
The free bird didn’t stop after taking the slash and ran right off the edge, but turned around and launched the shuriken again with the wire on it. “Crap!” said Baxter, as the blade entered Baxter’s leg, making him fall to his knees. Taking, the blade out his leg, Baxter threw it far off into some distant part of the forest. ‘I’ll have Monko go get later. Besides, I have to concentrate on this attack. With as little chakra I have left, this is going to be my last. If I don’t get this attack to land, I just might lose.’ Barret landed on the branch that was right across from the he was just on and ran off, trying to put some distance between him and Baxter. Reactivating his Chakra Ittou for the final time, Baxter said, “How about this, one last strike each, whoever wins, wins. I don’t have enough chakra left to carry on this much longer, and your about to pass out.
So, lets go out with a bang!” A few seconds past after he finished what he wanted to say before they leaped at each other. Baxter has always made sure to live with a few key principles. One such ting is that although striking first is good, striking last is better. This is and will always be a principle that Baxter has found true. This especially held true in this situation. Making sure to hit first, Baxter felt his sword collided with Barret’s chest, torn up from the explosion and all the slashes from earlier. After making sure the attack connected, both of them fell to the bottom of the forest. However, Baxter, still slightly conscious, stuck both of his feet to the nearest tree, and, somehow managing to call up the remaining scarps of his chakra and molding it, stuck himself onto the tree and slowed his descent.
Barret, however, wasn’t that lucky. He fell into the middle of the clearing that the fight started in, unconscious. Jumping of the tree that he was holding onto, Baxter jumped onto one of the gigantic roots and sat atop it, Indian style. After sitting down, Baxter said, “Well, looks like I beat you, man, even if I’m about to collapse from chakra exhaustion.” Staggering over to where Barret laid, Baxter offered his hand to his friend, Baxter then said, while chuckling at the thought of it, “Come on, lets go to the hospital and get treated. We need to get you patched up and get that poison out of your body. I myself have to get treated for chakra exhaustion. Hopefully Hotaru sensei isn‘t working a shift today. She would deprive us of medicine just to teach us a lesson about busting each other up to the degree have.”
As the free bird took his hand, the monkey boy hoisted him up, and put his arm around his soldier, so they could walk out of the place. As they walked out of the forest, Baxter then said with a laugh, “Hopefully, I have enough chakra left to make it back to the village. I don’t think anybody knows where we are, and if I run out of chakra, we’re probably doomed.”

failed- we're talking about ninja wire not toothpicks or some weak string, you aren't gonna just cut it in half. Especially with your strenght. Due to your plan backfiring and you being well open, you take 10dp crit, however your striking of the wire bounces the note off just in time to only slightly damage you with the explosion for a extra 2dp
Action 2- Countered Windmill Shuriken With Chakra Ittou: 10 chakra & ½ dodge, 5 damage, ACC: 0 possible +10= x2 natural, +5 possible from counter..

pending, however you took the damage from reading your rp...he gets a pretty clean shot due to coming above his attack. So 10dp awarded as you reallly didnt block. Bad move on your part, cuase this ends you.
Summary:
Alright, you got a lot of practice to do man before your next battle. A decent effort toward the beginning but you slacked at the end and it cost you big time. First off, read that last part over. There is so many parts that could be considerd actions. Spinning to move out of the way and stuff like that, is considered dodges which are their own actions not just something that can be done. Very rough and choppy towards the end. Battle being awarded to Barret as he had you out-rped in description. You were just does this and does that, not giving a clear definition to what you were doing. You have to go strong when attacking a strong post before you. Best luck in your next battle.
