Effect: Lower the demonimator of any incoming damagers by 1 (Example: 1/5 becomes 1/6)
Special: This item is used with one arm, leaving only the other free. Weapons can be swung. Those who are Jonin rank and above ignore special due to being more skillful with a single arm in battle. Yukina {And any others with one handed jutsu} may perform all one handed jutsus while using this item.
Duration: Never needs to be replenished.
Limit: Can only be used for one turn per battle. {Does not take an action to read. Effects last for the rest of the turn}
Description: A book that has been argued to be "perverted" as well as "romantic". The user pulls out the book and reads it. The meer idea of the book increases blood circulation, allowing the user to react quicker and shrug off any damage they take while reading.

this is too funny.... are you sure about this? the effects are a bit... this is more RP only i would think ...
maybe for effect1 you add on that the doujutsu has to be active in order for that to cancel
Effect2: um... this could get serious i mean droping an A rank from 1/2->1/3 would be highly unlikely... maybe do that on a chance basis like a 25% chance that damage will be dropped a fraction blah blah
Special so are you saying you can't perform jutsu while this is out? unless they are one handed
and you need to state somewhere how this is used exactly... like do you take it out during a turn and RP reading it and dodging and it is active for the rest of the turn?

This makes the user able to roll with the damage. Say a fireball would graze them...That split second of extra movement makes the damage lessened. Or if a sword was swung, that slight movement would make the wound not as deep, etc.

Umm...Yeah...Forgot about that...
It doesn't take an action to retrieve it and open it. Just looking at the page is enough to activate the effect, but to keep it up, the book must actually be read. Since those with a Doujutsu are better suited to read, and fight at the same time, the opponent's bonus to acc is negated.
I'd also like to keep effect two as it is due to this only usable once per battle, as well as the fact it gives the opponent an acc bonus unless the user has a Doujutsu. On top of all of that, those who can't use one handed seals are pretty gimped, because they can only swing weapons, which cost double the amount of chakra to do so.

Something like that. And just say that you must be able to do one handed seals when using the book. Why? Jounin can use one-handed seals now, so yea <_<...
Umm... this still needs work, but it's getting there. I'll look at it more closely when I have some spar time...
