Dual Bouts: Saipher/Misaru vs. Sakoya/Yamato, Judge - Drake

~~~Pre Battle~~~

And so it begins

A continuous flurry of sighs escaped the chuunin’s mouth as he descended down to the bamboo thicket which would soon serve as his battle field. Fortunately for all parties involved, this battler was friendly, set up as one of the many bouts between the leaves’s own. The reason behind these friendly duels was to keep everyone sharp, as well as provide friendly competition.

Saipher didn’t care much for them, since he was rather active in terms of missions, and this served only as a distraction. In his field of work, eliminating the opponent as fast he one could was the name of the game, and death was always a factor. With these duels, one would have to indulge in leniency, watching their strikes so that they don’t border on the lethal, and not having to worry about your opponent wishing death to befall on you.

Still, a request was a request. One thing that did make this battle an attractive one lie in both his opponent as well as his partner. He was to fight an Inuzaka, meaning some form of canine assistant would be involved. Now, he’d be faced with two opponents for the price of one. As for his partner, he was of the famed Uchiha clan, as well as a fellow ANBU member.

This combination was rather appeasing and attractive. For one he’d be able to measure up his comrade’s abilities, both through his bloodline as well as behind his mask. While his opponents were unknown other than by their names, Saipher felt confidence in the team they’d form, since their bloodlines, as well as hidden professions, would grant them an added edge in the fight.

So, with his internal struggle slain, Saipher carefully made his way through the bamboo thicket, meeting up with the fighters at the tops of the shoots. Before arriving at the group, he allowed a small dose of regular poison to enter his body, its effects neutralized and ready to use on his opponents. Finally, he drove his finger in the ground and created a hole for sand to pour forth por use.

“Hiya!”

~~~Battle Post~~~

The battle begun, and hopefully it would soon end. In a flash of light, Saipher employed his gift in fast movement and rush towards the opponents. The dog of the Inuzuka boy was bellow their positions, appearing ready to strike out at any which fall down. Therefore, he made a point of removing his owner first, or at least weakening him, so that a proper duo for a counter attack would be harder to form.

The magic of his clan’s bloodline ability was brought forth in the form of the clan’s fist dance, the Yanagi no Mai. Producing two hard and razor sharp staves at his forearm, the Yanagi allow the use of these sword like bones work efficiently through fluid strokes, cutting through the hardest material under the owner’s will. The first dance was aimed directly at the boy, although he did not deliver it in a direct fashion. Instead, he took the time to zigzag across the several tops, causing his image to be blurred by the high speed movement.

Before the boy was to recover from the first onslaught, he allowed a second dance to occur, this time aimed at his partner. Such a sudden transition would appear disadvantageous at first, since he now positioned himself in between both enemies. However, this sudden shift in targets served a duel purpose. First off, the partner would not be expecting such a swift and sudden transition, since the dance itself involved rapid movements with unpredictable targets. One would know when it was done only if one was privy to it before, and he was very sure neither was.

Secondly, once the attack on the partner was done, he would be perfectly positioned to deliver his porcupine technique, an ability of his clan developed by a fellow Kaguyan that also resided in the leaf village. Such an attack was of a wide range, and would be able to attack in any direction he wanted, blanketing the Inuzuka boy, his partner and his animal familiar.

“Doku Harinezumi no Jutsu!”

As the last letters of the incantation was spoken, bony rain befell over every opponent on the field. Numerous, unaccountable staves of poison-filled bone fragments traveled at almost every location of their bodies. Were any of them to evade away in any direction, they’d be met by more bone fragments. If they were to back off, they’ loose the fight of speed, since these projectiles were launched at high speeds.

Another advantage behind this attack was that he would use himself as a lure, allowing his partner a full advantage to deliver attacks of his own over the unsuspecting opponents. Saipher’s strength levels were high, and he would not mind an area of effect attack that hurt him a bit, since that would lead to his opponent’s death faster than his own.

With his attacks done, Saipher speedily retreated towards Misaru, hoping his fellow ANBU member would appreciate the opening Saipher left him.

Morning rose from the cold night of Konoha and the morning dew had fallen upon the arena, making the entire spike like bamboo arena very slippery. On the east corner of the arena was Yamato Fujiwara, and Sakoya Inuzuka. Wolffang had made her way inside the arena as to wait inside the brush of bamboo and jump into the battle when her time came. Sakoya place his index finger in front of his hand and concentrated. ‘I don’t know if we can win this…’[/b] He thought, feeling, blue Chakra emit from his body, which tended to happen to Inuzukas when they became anxious. He turned to his partner and the newest participant of the team that Sakoya was now on.

The prelude to battle began at the side of the arena, at the bottom of the bamboo shoots; it was almost impossible to see past the multitude of bamboo that only a skinny wolf could get through. This allowed the participants to talk and make their plans without any problems like giving away their strategy or something like that. The young Inuzuka was glad that this feature had been part of the arena, since-from what he had seen so far-his partner had a rather big mouth when he got excited. Sakoya thought further and then said finally “Alright kid-you take the right and do what you can-I’ll try to protect you, but hopefully you’ll be alright, assuming Misaru and Saipher plan to team up on me.” He said with a small sigh, but he was more attempting to slow down his breathing and forget about the viscous pain he was probably about to encounter.

Wolffang quietly moved between the Bamboo and slowly made her way towards the two opponents that were on the west side of the arena. She was concealed in the dark forest like bottom of the bamboo, and when she saw one of their opponents, she immediately turned around and directed her greatest technique from her behind and upon the man’s leg. By the time the man registered that his leg was now wet, the young wolf had ran back into the darker portion of the arena and waited there for a signal of attack.

Sakoya’s expression changed as the sudden effect of the Dainamikku Maakingu pushed upon his nose. [i]‘Good Job my Wolf.’ Sakoya thought with a smirk as he now pinpoint exactly where one of his opponent’s legs were. It was almost as though the brush that had been in front of Sakoya had disappeared and all he could see was the urine, no matter where the opponent moved or what he did.

“Alright let’s do this!” Yamato yelled, jumping up high and landing on the large pieces of bamboo. Sakoya followed quickly, to see Misaru running at his partner. The young Inuzuka quickly jumped in front and slammed his gauntlet like Sound Wave Amplifier into his face. The metal sound carrier did not draw blood, but instead left Misaru dizzy with a small bruise upon his face.

Sakoya smirked and jumped forward opening his left hand which held the claw like Goraishi, one of Sakoya’s favorite weapons. It made the young Inuzuka quite proud that he had two incredible weapons on both hands as he jumped towards Saipher and sliced towards his stomach, cutting the man’s Flack Jacket and hopefully piercing his skin. “I have an attack just for you Saipher.” Sakoya said; he had made a plan just for this specific fighter since he was so powerful during battle and he hoped it would at least bruise him.

The one Inuzuka slap both of his pockets with his hands and moved in towards the opponent as smoke emitted from his pockets. The smoke was slowly blinding the Kaguya, but Sakoya could see him clearly thanks to the incredibly strong scent of Wolffang’s Urine. His right fist blazed with blue Chakra as he readied himself to use the Bruising attack. “Tsuuten Kyaku!” He yelled moving into the smoke and outstretching his fist, which slammed into his opponent and obliterated a small portion of the arena. His opponent coughed a small portion of blood and fell was shunned backwards.

Sakoya predicted that his opponent was powerful enough to take such an attack, and would quickly retaliate with the probable aid of his companion so he quickly signaled a segment of Jutsus and used the replacement technique. As Saipher attacked, the young Inuzuka replaced himself with an exploding Note that he had packed for this battle. He had moved himself and Yamato on the safer side of the arena as it exploded, burning Saipher’s body, but hindering him very little.

“Alright let’s Dance.” Sakoya said, jumping forward with his partner. He said, but stopped suddenly ‘Guh-Poison….Damnit…I didn’t even notice-He’s so subtle. Damnit Saihper.’ He said, clenching his teeth. He’d probably faint soon…But he hadto win first!

***Prelude***

Misaru's eyes darted around the arena as he took a careful study of each of the combatants. His team mate for this engagement was Kaguya Saipher and this brought a small smile to his face. His partner was an incredibly gifted fighter, and additionally he was the leader of the Uchiha's team and a fellow ANBU. He was going to be a great ally for the battle.

Glancing across the battle field, the young ANBU's eyes fell upon the face of Inuzuka Sakoya. He had only a small amount of knowledge about the warrior, but at the moment the only thing concerning him was the information that he was from the Inuzuka clan. Those warriors specialized in employing their canine companions to assist them in battles, and they could be deadly if they managed to gang up on an opponent. It was then that the child noticed that he could not locate Sakoya's canine companion. Looking around the area with exceeding care, he found himself unable to decipher the animal's location. Starting to feel very uneasy about this, he glanced into the trees a moment later to see a small stream of urine flying through the air.

Not prepared for an attack so early in the battle, the young man took a step backward but still received the smelly liquid on . The scent was unmistakably one of a dog, and the child's mind immediately flooded with understanding. The powerful smell would be easily identifiable by the Inuzuka's nose, and allow him to constantly identify the boy's location.

Taking a look in the direction he had seen the urine come at him from, Misaru discovered that the wolf was gone. It seemed the creature was gifted at stealthy operations. Smiling, the boy adjusted the ANBU mask on his face. He would have to show that the Inuzuka's pet was not the only one that could perform such maneuvers.

The final opponent that the young Uchiha was going to be facing went by the name of Yamato Fujiwara. Little was known about the warrior, because of the fact that he was a recent graduate from the academy. Additionally, to the best of Misaru's knowledge, the youth did not belong to any of Konoha's clans. This meant that the ANBU was going to have to be on guard and quickly learn the fighting style that Yamato employed.

The ANBU's ears then picked up the sound of movement in the bamboo thicket. Redirecting his attention to his team mate, Misaru noticed that he was going to take up his starting position. Not wanting to hold the battle up, the Uchiha took his place at the top of the long bamboo poles.

***Battle***

Reaching behind his back, the young man withdrew his sheathed Katana. Immediately upon coming free of the storage container, it sizzled with heat and the color transformed into a burning red. The power that Misaru felt coming out of the weapon made his heart begin to pump faster. The powers of the Flaming Lord were incredible and it always gave the child a sense of exhilaration when he tapped into them.

Saipher had immediately raced across the battle field and began to attack their opponent's with brutal efficiency. Deciding that he should not allow the Kaguya to have all the fun, the Uchiha raced forward and prepared to attack Yamato. Before he could even begin his strike, however, Sakoya appeared in front of him with a sound wave amplifier on his arm. This attack would have caught most people completely off guard, but Uchiha Misaru was not most people, and his defenses had been put up to their maximum after the dog's attack earlier.

Raising the Enkou Katana in the blink of an eye, the child slashed through the air and aimed his strike at the sound wave amplifier that was being put in front of his face. As the blade traveled its path, the weapon suddenly burst into flames as the boy activated his Enkou Yaiba ability. The flaming blade immediately increased the temperature of the surrounding area, and then it heavily impacted the sound wave amplifier. The force of the attack sent the weapon and Sakoya's arm up into the air, as well as diverting the deadly blast to an angle that was above the child's head.

Smiling at his opponent's face, Misaru saw a wave of understanding flood the Inuzuka's features when he noticed the two tomoe sharingan eye. It was able to enhance one's reaction time, and this had given the boy the edge he needed to perform his previous counter attack.

“You better hurry this battle up. The flames from my katana are deadly hot, and could potentially burn the flesh right off of you and your partner's bodies.” Sakoya ignored the comment and instead jumped forward to begin an attack upon Saipher. Trusting that his friend would be able to handle the situation, the boy turned his attention to the fighter in front of him. Moving the instant that he was sure the Inuzuka was not about to launch a surprise attack at him, Misaru through a quick slash down at the genin's left leg. The weapon hit with deadly accuracy, and the air quickly filled with the odor of burning flesh.

Having performed the initial attack with the Katana in an effort to weaken his opponent's ability to dodge the follow up attacks, Misaru sent two very quick slashes at Yamato. The first was aimed for the genin's stomach, while the next one was aimed for his chest. Both were sent in an effort to weaken the young man's ability to perform any maneuvers that would require heavy movements of the body.

Hearing the sound of a large explosion behind him, the Uchiha jumped backwards and turned around in one fast motion. He was immediately faced with Sakoya's person. Smiling widely at the Inuzuka, he decided to try out a genjutsu of his and see how the warrior dealt with it. Performing the hand seals in the blink of an eye, leaves swirled around the warrior as the Hell Viewing Technique was completed.

“Lets see how well you deal with illusionary techniques.” A second later Saipher appeared at the boy's side, apparently readying for another series of attacks.

The sun ascended upon the horizon, illuminating the aphetic sky with it’s incandescent aurora. The mourning distillation transfused across the bamboo battle field, drenching the terrace with it’s sodden. Yamato and Sakoya adjourned the eastern stratum of the arena, getting prepared for their decisive tag-team scrimmage against both Uchiha Misaru and Kaguya Saipher. Yamato rest his body upon the clammy sod, dirtying his clothes in the process. But, he didn’t care. His mind was focused on the battle. He was ready for what was in store for him, whatever it might have been. The cackling of leaves caught Yamato’s attention. Out of the corner of his eye he witness Sakoya’s bristling companion, Wolfgang, lurking within a thicket of bamboo - awaiting to ensnare the opponents when it is call for.

Yamato’s hair deluged within the wind’s expeditious alternation, as insignificant and unconstrained strands dilatorily find away to depart from Yamato’s head. Stewing a modest sigh, Yamato turned his head towards Sakoya’s. As they met eyes, it was as if they were one. Sakoya came out with the first word.

“You ready?” Sakoya questioned, with a solemn glare.

“Of course, why wouldn’t I be?” He was nervous. This was the first battle Yamato has every encounter. He didn’t know what could or what would happen. He was only a genin, and was already being put up against ANBU members. What did he get himself into...

“Alright kid - remember, you take the right and do what you can - I’ll try to protect you, but hopefully you’ll be alright, assuming Misaru and Saipher plan to team up on me.” The young Inuzuka sighed

“Alright let’s do this!” Yamato yelled, jumping up high and landing on the large weald of bamboo - Sakoya followed intimately. The young Inuzuka immediately capered in front, in slamming his gauntlet like Sound Wave Amplifier into the Uchiha’s face. The metal sound carrier did not draw blood, but instead left Misaru reeling with a small bruise upon his face.

Yamato saw this as an open opportunity. Just as Sakoya hurdled over Misaru, Yamato withdrew his Kama from the tailpiece of his anorak. “Your dead...” Yamato thought to himself, as he began to hastened towards his opponent. Ascending into the air, Yamato heaved the miniature scythe above his head - descending it straight into Misaru’s left shoulder tendon. Retrieving the blade out of Misaru’s flesh, Yamato decided this wasn’t enough to bring the Uchiha down to his knee. Thus, Yama’ towered the Kama above his head, once again plundering the scythe into Misaru’s shoulder - this time being his right shoulder tendon. The young Uchiha cringed in pain. but Yamato could tell that this wasn’t over by a long shot. Unexpectedly, the Uchiha managed to unsheathe his sword, in hopes to defend himself against the little genin. The man swung the sword, but Yamato was too quick with his incessant onslaught. Scampering within his pockets, Yamato exposed a facile smoke grenade. Yamato cast grenade right into Misaru’s path, smoke brimming from within it’s apical. Of course this clouded the Uchiha’s vision, causing him to stagger around the bamboo spire.

Yamato, on the other hand, was not effected by the smog at all. As a matter of fact, he used it to his advantage. Misaru began to search around the coagulated brume, hopping to lurch upon Yamato. But, to his surprise, Yamato happened to be right behind him.

“I’ve got em’ on the ropes.” Yamato thought to himself, as he inarticulately escaladed the actuate kama above his head. “Say your prayers...” as Yamato’s arm dropped, the kama immerged deep into the Uchiha’s back. Yamato’s smiled with avarice, for he had finally learned of his true potential. He was taking down a Uchiha of a higher rank. There has to be some gratifying behind that right?

“Now, to finish you off.” Yamato cleaved the back of Misaru’s throat, completely rupturing the flesh. All of a sudden, a potent arm seizes Yamato by the waist - sweeping him from off the bamboo stalk. At first, Yamato attempted to break the hold, using everything from beating the arm with the bud of his kama, to subtly gnawing at the wrist and fingers.

“Damnit, will you stop!?” The voice sounded familiar. So familiar that it cause Yamato to look back twice
“Sakoya?” Yamato question with a query expression.

“I’ll explain later.”

The rules stated you cannot make a second account to go to your Second character. I even told him that when he asked that on the Q/A. He has a unknown (tell I get tired of counting) timer to prove he's still on this site, before I call this fight and grade it for LP.
