Elemental Affinity: Saton, Doton
Physical Description: CHUUNIN EXAM-EARLY CHUUNIN Time has passed, but Raxona’s appearance hasn’t changed too much. He didn’t take very long to pass through the rank of Genin and so his body is fairly similar. His hair is still long and unkept, his eyes are still the same shade of grey. He is still unhealthily skinny and tall. The only main change to Raxona’s appearance is the abundance of scars now on his body. His forearm has a horrible scar running lengthways down it where Raxona was attacked by a wolf. He has various patches of rough skin where he had suffered burns from the fight with Loren Ikasama. He has scars from stabs and cuts all across his body, but doesn’t seem to be too self conscious of them.
His wardrobe has gone under a fairly large change. All but gone are the days of black pants. Raxona will wear them occasionally, but mainly now wears cargo or hakama pants of various colors. They give him more room to move and they are far more comfortable. He will still occasionally wear his brown poncho-like cloak, but Raxona now also has various large Gi tops he will wear during missions, battles, or training. Otherwise, he has a plethora of t-shirts for daily life.
The teenager still wears his Leaf Headband tied around his bicep, tied tightly. Raxona also wears a large bamboo shade on his back, hung loosely around his neck by a string. He keeps it with him when doing shinobi related tasks in case of rain.
GENIN Raxona is, by all means, not a physically pleasing person to look at. He isn’t ugly, but he doesn’t exactly take much care of his appearance. His hair is long and un kept, and his clothes are tattered and worn. He is usually smudged with various patches of dirt or grime from working outside on his Jutsu or one of his random and varied hobbies.
His appearance is further hampered by the fact that, even though he works outside most of the day, he is an almost unhealthy stage of thin and has a gangly look about him. His ragged clothes hang off of his body like a scarecrow.
He isn’t very tall, or physically fit, but Raxona has deep grey eyes and a dark complexion that would compliment his black hair nicely if he were very careful of his hygiene. Now, this isn’t to say that Raxona is a slob. He bathes about every other day, at a minimum, and he keeps his house fairly clean. It’s mostly just the dust and dirt that comes with his training outside all day and the fact that he doesn’t put a large amount of time into his personal grooming.
The tattered clothes he normally wears are what he has designated as his “training clothes”. They are what he wears ninety percent of his days. They include a pair of old black pants that are worn at the ankles and knees, and a large poncho-like, brown shirt that hangs down to near his thighs. He does not usually wash these clothes, as he sees no need to when they are for his training.
Despite popular belief, Raxona does actually own some nicer things and better clothes, but they are mostly put on reserve for “Special Occasions”.
Personality: CHUUNIN EXAM-EARLY CHUUNIN Raxona’s personality is what has gone under the most drastic change. Many events have affected and molded Raxona’s way of thinking and have caused him to become both more open and more secluded at the same time. He normally is no longer afraid to talk to people. The teenager is far less outwardly nervous, but at the same time, he doesn’t like to talk to people. He doesn’t like attention. He doesn’t like to be with most people. There are exceptions to this. Raxona has several friends that he will open up more to, but he still isn’t very talkative.
The Chuunin also has developed problems from the hectic nature of his recent life. The harassment that the Ikasama constantly seem to put him under has warped his sense of justice and reality, making him slightly unstable. He doesn’t want to tolerate criminals of any kind: Man, woman, or child. He is much more ruthless with these lowlifes, but at the same time holds up the pure of heart with the utmost adoration. These problems stem from Raxona’s overcompensating for his inability to do anything about Cruise and the other terrorist Ikasama.
GENIN Raxona is a pretty quiet person, all in all. He is reserved and introverted towards society, and even around his friends he isn’t very talkative. His ability to verbally work with strangers is almost non-existent. Raxona would prefer to stay to himself and meditate and try to make something with his hands than to have a conversation with someone.
Raxona prefers not to draw attention to himself; and when he is upset or distraught over something, he doesn’t actually enjoy the support of others. It isn’t that he doesn’t appreciate the concern, he just prefers not to have people coming up and patting him on the back telling him “everything would be ok.” It almost embarrasses him to be getting attention over some personal problem.
His main hobby or pastime is actually sculpting, though few would believe it from his appearance. He uses standard picks, hammers, and chisels of various sizes depending on the size of his project. Normally, he sculpts statues of well-known Shinobi or, usually more often, animal characters. This is a flaw in his personality, however, because Raxona will usually put getting a new tool or finer quality stone over getting a good meal for the day.

Biography: Raxona grew up in a fairly strict and prosperous home. The lived in a large city near the center of the Fire Nation. His parents ran a quickly growing shipping industry, employing many people and vehicles to deliver parcels over a large span of the nation. Raxona didn’t disapprove of this business; he thought it was actually kind of neat how much the web of deliver routes seemed to grow each week. But, Raxona did find the broad aspect of the business boring, and would much rather have spent his time sculpting.
His parents, though they loved him, did not see the practical applications of Raxona’s hobby, or seem to be able to get him put his time into more “worthy” studies. Raxona, likewise, didn’t see the point in putting his time into studying most of the subjects his parents held up with such high regard, and preferred to work on his art or to train his mind.
They did not live anywhere near the Village Hidden in the Leaves, his nations shinobi training village; but Raxona loved the very idea of that lifestyle. His patriotism for the Nation of Fire would grow each time he would hear of any of the happenings in Konoha. He kept a small notebook under his bed, where he recording everything he could find about the world of shinobi, whether they be from this nation or any other.
Most of the information that he filled his notebook with, was sent to him by his uncle that actually lived in Konoha. He kept in constant contact with his uncle, probably sending him around three letters a week telling him how he was doing and inquiring about the village. The more he kept in contact, the more the thoughts of becoming a ninja consumed him.
Finally, Raxona convinced his parents to allow him to leave home for Konoha. He would stay at a apartment right across the street from the school he would attend, and Raxona’s uncle had to promise to keep check on him before his parents consented; but these were trivial things to Raxona. His parents gave his uncle enough money to allow Raxona to live on his own for many years to come, trusting the uncles judgment to keep Raxona from blowing the money.
Raxona lived and grew like this for several years, attending the academy and working on his art. His uncle kept a close watch on him and enjoyed the occasional company of the boy since his wife had died many years before.
After just a few years of this well-working program, however, Raxona’s life took a fairly major turn. His uncle, whom had practically been the only role model in Raxona’s life for the last several years, suddenly passed away. The autopsy revealed that his uncle had been suffering from a slowly working disease that broke down his stomach until it ruptured.
Raxona was, understandably, heartbroken. He took the money he had left and became a recluse. He moved further out of the main part of town and bought a small house where he has lived on his own ever since. He stopped responding to letters from his parents, and stopped listening to society.
Raxona drifted out of the mainstream and devoted his whole time to his sculptures and his studies. He changed his focus to working on the Nin and Genjutsu aspects of his training, and began to spend a lot of time meditating. He now relies on selling his sculptures for money because he had essentially run out of the money given to him by his parents. It gives him a mediocre puncheon, but it is survivable.
Sample RP: Raxona lay with his back against the wet, solid rock wall. His eyes were closed. He was sitting in a rather uniform position. His legs were folded, and his arms were laying on his knees. His head was resting on a rock shelf that felt abnormally comfortable in his state of concentration.
The cave was nearly pitch black. The only sound one could hear was the steady trickle of water down the sides of the cavern walls. The air was filled with the pleasant smell of fresh musty mud. To Raxona, the cave’s ambiance had a calming effect that helped him concentrate on the manipulation of his chakra, which is exactly what he was there to do.
Raxona had found this cave about a year ago. It had a rather small entrance that he had to carefully crawl through at a steep downward angle, but opened up enough for one to carefully walk upright after fifteen feet or so. Raxona had no idea how deep the cave went. He never had gone past this room, and had never brought a light into the cave. He always came here to unwind and get away from the bustle of the village.
He took in a heavy breath, inhaling all the aromas of the cave, then sighed the air back out slowly. He opened his eyes, and reached down to his side to fish some steel wire out of his pocket. Carefully taking the wire in one hand, he focused with all his might to send his chakra through the wire. He could feel the upwelling in his body. He could feel his energies flowing through his hand.
Raxona took his other had and held it out in the dark air to his side, his palm open and facing his other hand. He felt his chakra flow. Slowly, he stiffened the wire with his chakra until he could feel it prick the palm of his other hand. Raxona then allowed the wire to go limp.
In the darkness he grinned. This exercise he had devised was becoming increasingly easy as the days went by. When Raxona wasn’t sculpting, this is where he would spend his time. He would sneak into the cave and exercise his chakra control until he was satisfied. He forced his chakra into the wire again until he felt the thin filament prick his palm once more. Once again the wire went limp.
Raxona repeated this process several times, each time trying to raise the wire as quickly as possible, yet in as stable of a manner as possible. After an amount of time had passed that even Raxona didn’t know, and he had repeated the practice exercise as much as he felt he could without making it difficult to climb out of the cave.
He re-stuffed the wire into his pocket and laid back, resting a moment. Raxona could not control his mind’s wandering sometimes. He soon found himself laying back on the stone floor in the darkness and looking over his life. Graduation would be soon. What would he do then? He would be an official shinobi of the Nation of Fire and the Konoha village. In a way he was proud, but, in a way he was concerned. Raxona was unsure of how he would fair in missions. He had average skill in his chakra manipulation, and he was capable with his Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, but he was physically weak and frail. Besides his non-existent Taijutsu abilities.
Once again, Raxona sighed in the darkness. This place was his sanctuary. He would have to leave it soon enough though. He would have to cut back on his sculpting too. He mentally frowned at the thought of giving up some of the time he had designated for art. That was an idea he wasn’t fond of. But he would have to… He would be busy with missions and team training. If anyone would hire him…
Frowning once more, Raxona sat up and began to climb up out of the cave. All he could do is put forth effort. He needed this job as a shinobi. Selling his statues could only give him so many ryou. He rounded a bend in the cave’s entrance and sunlight shown down into his eyes, causing him to pause momentarily to adjust.
That is what he would have to do… Adjust…
