Link is back in his fourth 3D adventure, and it is nothing less than spectacular.

Story - 9/10
This Zelda has a much more involving story than any before it. You start of the game as nothing more than a goat herder living on his own in a small village. One day the village mayor asks you to deliver a gift to Hyrule Castle to give to the royal family. But before you can really get anywhere, you are pulled into an alternate dimension, called the Twilight. Once here you are almost immediately transformed into a wolf, and the next thing you know, you wake up in a prison cell, with a little imp named Midna there to help you. I don't want to spoil too much, because this is hardly any of the story, so I'll just leave it here.

Music/Sound - 8
While there are some very nice songs, some classic and some new, the overall score in this game falls a little bit short compared to other entries. There's not a whole lot that you will find exceptionally great, other than a few pieces. Also, the sound
effects, while not the best ever, do what their supposed to do and can sound alright
in the process.

Graphics - 9.5
The graphics in Twilight Princess are very impressive, from the way the water glistens, to the character models, to the snow falling in the mountains, to the overall atmosphere and backrounds in the game. While not the best on the GC at all, they are extremely good.

Gameplay - 10
Now this is where the game truly shines. First of all, the combat is leaps and bounds above what it is in any other Zelda. There are many moves for you to learn, which
makes the sword fighting more fun than ever before. There are more items as well,
some old one's, like the bow and arrows, and some new one's, like the spinner.
While the puzzles are mostly the same as what you'd get from the other Zelda's,
they can still be fun and fairly challenging at times, although not to hard at all. And,
of course, riding Epona is more fun than it ever was, espically with the addition of
being able to do battle while riding.

Overall - 9.4(not an average)
As it stands, Twilight Princess is a great entry into the world of 3D Zelda's. While it
has many faults and problems, these are usually minor and don't detract from the
overall experience. It may not be the best Zelda ever, but it is still one of the
greatest games I've played in awhile, and in my opinion it deserves to be given the award of GotY 2006.
