Umm, Onward!

Alright, just beat the gym, and am now onto my next gym. We walk into the forest, not sure what we are to expect. I decide I'd rather have a Pokemon out, just incase, so I send out my Growlithe. "Alright, Nighsthade, we are on." I look straight ahead and see all kinds of things, just when...

a wurmple, level 8 male can be seen just ahead and it doesn't seem to notice you

"Nightshade, lets take it out, use an ember attack!" *Grrr* Growlithe barks, and lets out a bunch of hot coals, right at the Wurmple..

wurmple is caught by surprise and left very weak from the attack

it turns to face you but is unable to attack this turn

"Nightshade, time to finish this thing off" *Grr* Growlithe, barking, furiously agrees, in a dog like way "Alright, ember, now!" I say, loud and proud..

the attack hits and wurmple faints

"Alright, Growlithe, lets go find some more victims" I say, just as she starts barking at a nearby bush, which isn't even moving. I then send out my Magby, to go over and see what it is, as Growlithe stays with me...

You see four eyes staring out at you from the bush. Freaky huh? Nightshade is barking, but seems scared to go forward...magby meanwhile rushes in, and flushes out an aipom level 8 male and weedle level 7 male!

Umm, "Nightshade, Ember attack on either of them!" "Magby, afterward I want you to follow it up with an ember of your own on the opposite one!" Nightshade lets the coals out, but I am unable to tell which she was aiming at..

As ember hits weedle, you notice there is something odd about the little thing. Normal ones look like this and this one looks like this? Aipom takes a good chunk of damage as well...

"Nightshade, I think it is a shiny Weedle!" I quickly respond at its look by throwing out a Pokeball at it, completely forgetting about the Aipom, and then I remember, and tell the Magby to just use an ember, as it was the first thing that came to mind..

Weedle isn't weak enough, you might wanna reconsider the pokeball yet daledale ^^;;

(Nah, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - in Emerald I caught Rayquaza first try with a regular pokeball >.>)

"Nightshade, ember attack!" *Grr* The growlithe barks, then lets loose burning coals..

Aipom and Weedle turn to look at each other. Weedle then squeals as he is severely damaged due to the weakness. Aipom is apparently offended you're ignoring him. Screeching, he leaps upward into a tree. Moments later, everyone except weedle is being pelted madly with pinecones.

"Nightshade, ember attack the weedle. Magby, if the other one wants a fight .. I suppose we should give it to him, right? Ember attack, now!"
