After getting my team healed up and thanking Nurse Joy I headed to the Gym with my trusty Chickorita by my side " wow look at this place huh Chickorita it's like a grass paradise " I siad to my pokemon " Chii Chii!" he repliled happily " Hello is anyone there, am Nero and am here to challenge the gym lader" I callled out...

He growled out as he came out of his pokeball "Allright Flame we can do this Lets start things off with a smokescrean attack" I told my pokemon " cynda cynda!" Flame replieled as he looked at the Pineco and unleashed his smoke screen...

leer lowered pinecos defense and then pineco unleased a fierce tackle attack which did decent damage

nice job pineco i yelled out and watched as it readied itself for the next attack

pineco then hit cyndaquil with a tackle of its own doing about equal damage

again the tackle hit pineco and once again it retaliated with a tackle of it's own

the pokemon were trading blows back and fourth and were about equal on health with pineco having a slight advantage

again pineco's accuracy was lowered

pineco then went for a tackle attack but this time missed

the other trainers strategy seemed to be working

this time the tackle attack worked and it hit pineco hard

pineco again countered with a tackle of it's own which hit this time because cyndaquil was so close

cyndaquil seemed to be slightly weakened now and pineco had slightly more health left

" Humm I siad to myself as I held the Super potion in my Hand but decided to wiat and save it as a last resort I knew my Cyndiqual could do it" try Tackle one more time Flame" I siad to him and again he went for a tackle atatck on Pineco...

the tackle sent pineco into a weakened state and it was now slightly weaker than cyndaquil. pineco then went for a tackle of it's own and missed the attack.

right before chikarita connected, the supersonic hit it confusing it. the tackle still hit though and did a little damage.

tailow's level disadvantage really seemed to be hurting it now as it was gasping for breath

ledyba countered with it's own tackle which did decent damage to chikarita who also seemed weakened

chikarita hurt itself in its confusion and took a little damage and then snapped out of its confusion just as ledyba tackled it doing slightly more damage

it then used a tackle which hit chikarita and caused it to also be quite weakened

" Thats the way Chickorita lets use tackle again " I siad to my pokemon seeing as it was our only choice since razor leaf wouldn't do much damage, Chickorita nodded his head got readyt o use tackle attack on Ledyba..

ledyba managed to avoid enough of the tackle so it wasn't knocked out, but it seemed close

it then used a tackle of it's own which hit chikarita who also seemed very weak from such a long battle

the tackle hit hard and knocked ledyba to the floor

it got up very weakly yet determined not to lose. and then it fell to the ground defeated.

return i call out sadly to my defeated pokemon

i then walk over to you and hold out my hand for a handshake

good battle. here is $160 for beating me.

i advise you go to the pokemon center before you challenge our leader and good luck in your match!

roselia was rather quick and managed to avoid the attack before using stun spore and paralyzing quilava
