The year is 2381...

The Federation stands strong with its fleet rebuilt after the Borg attack on Earth and the Dominion war. It has got back to its roots of exploring and has put away its battleships till next required.

The Klingons have also made advancements of their own with new battleships being pumped put of the Quo'noS shipyards. The alliance between them and the Federation has never been stronger and the construction of Unity 2 has already begun.

The Romulans have made peace with their Reman counter-parts and a new law was brought in against slavery. Remus was later terraformed and both Remans and Romulans live there. Since the Scimitar incident, the Tal Shiar has been made quieter and trade routes have been set up with the other Alpha Quadrant races.

The Cardassians have had a military ban implaced on them by the other three races and has since entered a frenzy of research allowing the other races to use their technology in exchange for forgiveness of the war, amongst the return of planets to the UFP.

The Borg, having felt a damaging blow from the destruction of their transwarp hub and inability to assimilate the technology that did it have engaged protocol 800-b, the assimilation of humans on a mass scale...

Species 8472 have still been fighting the war with the Borg with their researched technological armour, allowing them to withstand the Borg incursions and leave a devastating message: Species 8472 will not be assimilated.

The other races in the Alpha and Gamma quadrant have settled into their ways and a certain calm falls under the region...

As a final idea to end the wars and conflict, the four main alpha quadrant races have engaged proposal "Grande Alliance" which takes place at Earth under escort of the repspective race flagship commanders.

The Romulans have engaged peace and have set up numerous trade links with the other three races allowing them to benefit from their wealth, but, an unprovoked attack along the neutral zone of a Federation convoy by three Romulan Warbirds was questionned and no-one took the blame...

A fleet of Cardassian warships attacked a sensor outpost of the Klingons even though the main Cardassian government took no responsibility. The Klingons upped arms and a retaliation of a full Klingon attack force took place.

The Borg in the mean time have begun building a new transwarp hub in the middle of their space. After an incident a large fleet of Borg ships was able to get through just before the hub exploded. Part of the fleet ended up in the middle of Cardassian space, the other ending up in Fluidic space.

Species 8472 tried to set off a convoy to Earth to be part of the alliance. But, when they found Borg ships in their space, they sent some ships back to aid in the fighting. Aswell as that, mysteriously, some SPecies 8472 ships were being taken from Fluidic space for no reason whatsoever.

The USS Global (a Nebula refitted with an advanced sensor probe) picked up a distresssing signal into deep space that was 2 months old. The Borg were ehading to Earth, in force...

The Cardassians in the mean time were developing a quantum-singularity technology, and was able to "gate-in" Species 8472 ships. Since the Federation's last meeting with them, they were intriqued but unfortuneately, the technology meant when a ship was gated in it was destroyed immediately.

Meanwhile in the Badlands, The USS Enterprise was sent to its neartest starbase to recieve new orders. To warn Maquis ships off a pending Borg invasion. In urgent speed, the Enterprise along with some Klingon and Romulan escorts set off to find the Maquis and warn them...

Can you help the Federation beat back the Borg and form the grande-alliance along with sorting out the Romulan attacks?
