So, what's your best CD purchase that you've made recently? Note that I did say purchase :P
For me, it was probably X&Y by Coldplay. I also bought In Your Honor by Foo Fighters, but I don't think it was quite as good as some of their previous works.

Well, a lot of you may/will disagree with me or think it's dumb, but I think that me buying the Warped Tour '05 Compliation was a great purchase. It's got 50 different bands on it...it introduced me to about 48 new bands so now I am exposed to more bands than just Green Day ^_^

I bought Magical Mystery Tour...you can taste the acid leaking through the songs...lol. It's a really good album though. "I Am The Walrus" is a pinnacle of alternative rock considering when it came out(I mean, practically smashing pumpkins style really) and "All You Need is Love" is amazing. Add to that the enigmatic Strawberry Fields Forever, and Hello Goodbye, and you have something perfectly bridging the Sgt. Peppers to White Album gap.

I'm sorry, I haven't bought an album in a while, but I am seriously considering getting Tommy on CD. I want to listen to it in good sound quality, rather than on vinyl...

I bought...uh....well I didn't *buy* it, but the most recent CD I've goten is the Jesus Christ Superstar original soundtrack from Alex for my birthday back in may.

I just bought Get Behing Me Satan on impulse yesterday, and it is a kickass album. It has an "evolved" sound, but it's certainly the Stripes, therefore being kickass. It beats the middle releases, and ties with their first....
So go buy it!
