I believe you said the same thing last year when they played the Magic. I still like them to go far but sadly I think the Cavs will beat them this year. I think the Mavs are now better than the Lakers with injured Kobe and are now my pick to win it this year. Mark it: Mavs over Cavs (assuming they get Amar''''''''e). This totally fucks up my pre season pick of Lakers over Hawks though. Maybe next year. But if I'm right on either of these picks I'm gonna count it and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
Also I've been playing around with the trade machine on ESPN and I found a way for the Blazers to get Amar''''e. It doesn't make much sense for the Suns to make it but they still are getting way more talent than they would in the Cavs trade. Check it out (I posted the link here but I'm an idiot and don't know how to get it to work so.... recap: The Blazers send Andre Miller, Steve Blake, Travis Outlaw, and Martell Webster to the Suns for Amar''''''''e and the centerpiece of the trade Louis Amundson((He wasn't needed for the cap space to work or anything....I just wanted to throw him in)) The Blazers ended up being 6 wins worse and the Suns 10 worse.
I've successfully made both teams worse but really the Blazers would be so fucking good next year (assuming Amar''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''e would resign) Jeryd Bayless would finally get the starting pg role and a front court of Oden Amar'''''''''e and Aldridge (who I think could play the 3 since he takes stupid fucking jumpshots anyway) with Roy would beat the Hawks in the finals next year.
