YouTube is a strange collection of... well... pretty much the bottom of the barrel.

So of course, I had to contribute.

Warning Trailer (30 seconds): The trailer for my spring film, a documentary about knitting. Yes, the trailer and the documentary are BOTH more interesting than they sound.

Knitting Lessons, Part 1 (10 minutes): This is NOT my knitting documentary, but rather some footage I shot for it that I re-edited for internet broadcast. It's much funnier, I think, if you're familar with Brian Carroll, or his webcomic, Instant Classic (www.instantclassic.net)

Wait, which one? Brian is a silly man that makes lots of films - I haven't seen all of them yet, myself.

Oooooooh - the other Brian. Yes, he finished the film. As far as I know, it's not in any sort of digital form right now - he shot it on 16mm and very few of us transfered our projects from that class into any form of digital.

As for my films... well... I'll be posting the second half of "Knitting Lessons" sometime soon, but as far as the actual Knitting documentary goes... I don't actually have a copy! :wow It needs severe re-editing anyways... something I'm likely to never actually get around to doing.

Unless I'm gettin paid. Mostly only when I'm gettin paid. :P

Thanks :)

I should send this video to Tim Buckley - because of the shirt, and because he's friends with Brian Carroll :evil

Speaking of Tim and Brian - Tim mentions Brian in his latest news post, on how Brian helped him come up with this month's script for CAD Animated.

Yeah, Bri and I have been talking about that latest CAD animation since it went live.

Pretty much, I always IM him with my disgust at the latest CAD animations, because I think the last good one that was done was episode #3. Only this time when I went to complain to Bri, he sheepishly admitted helping with the script.

I think I'll hit him with something heavy.

Actually, it's not really the writing that bothers me... this time. It's the poor comedic timing and the AWFUL sound mix. Maybe I'm getting too "film majory" again, but I'm just disappointed, since I did pay for these things and all.
