Something has gone horribly wrong, and rumor has it that Team Rocket is behind it all.
Pokemon, as we know, aren't vicious by nature. But lately the Pokemon have been attacking humans without any reason and seriously wounding them. Strange as it seems, they also seem to be shades of gray, which is highly unusual and very unlikely.
Recently we recieved information on Team Rocket, one of the biggest and most devious teams reknown in all four regions, including Tekyn, from a young girl once a member but now a fugitive. Apparently she knows everything about this ackward but dangerous situation, and hopes to stop them now that she's seen what these "dark" Pokemon are doing. We quote her, "When I joined, I noticed the large amount of time spent in their lab. I happened to get a glimpse of their experiment, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They simply had various Pokemon in containments, which isn't very unusual. I heard from older Rocket grunts they always tested on Pokemon this way, so at the time I didn't suspect anything."
"That is, until one day I passed again. But... instead of one Pokemon, there were two of each, and double the tubes. But something odd seemed strange about the clones. Instead of their regular colors, they were a ghastly gray, and they seemed to have an odd, purple glow emitting from their bodies. But that wasn't it, oh no! When they invited every Rocket member to watch the demostration of their clones' power was when I wanted to leave. They had pitted an Arcanine against a dark Bayleef. Now you'd think the Arcanine could've easily taken the Bayleef down, but it didn't. It used Vine Whip, and in the first blow the Arcanine fainted. It was incredible, but they had to restrain the Bayleef from attacking it even more. I heard from the boss himself that only a pure trainer of good intentions can defeat a dark Pokemon and change the clone to it's original self, but I also heard that you can't catch these Pokemon. Something in it's body prevents it from being caught."
It seemed that Team Rocket is focusing on PokeEggs now instead of wild Pokemon, as eggs from daycares and the likes are constantly being stolen. BUt maybe there's hope...
Far from the headquarters of Team Rocket is a sacred land, and hidden away is a cave filled with eggs that have been rescued and kept safe, each having their own color and design. Who's protecting this horde? Mew and Rukario, of course! It is said that when one of them senses a trainer that's ready to begin their journey with a good heart, they pick an egg from their large pile that the person most desires and, if you will, delivers it to to them. They are said to do this because, in the small region of Tekyn, there is no professor to start them off, and because they hope that the trainer will somehow help to stop the rampage of dark Pokemon.
But Team Rocket aren't done yet. They don't want trainers to stop them, so they've stopped the market productions from coming in. Only Mew and Rukario can help you out now, by delivering items they've found across other regions. For the last goody, Mew and Rukario join your team only for a short time to help you. They are quite busy, you know?
Now! You can start off as a good trainer. I'm sure you know your intentions; to protect the Tekyn region from the wrath of the dark Pokemon. But instead of a regular Pokemon, trainers like you recieve a special shiny Pokemon egg.
Or, you can begin as a bad trainer. You just don't care about the region. In fact, you love Team Rocket's idea of dominating the region with dark Pokemon, and you want to help by scaring off those pesky "good" trainers. In gratitude, a Rocket Grunt will be giving you a special dark Pokemon egg. But beware! These Pokemon have the tendency to ignore you and are hard to control.
Choose wisely!
