Yeah....same here. It'll kinda be heavy to lug all the .308 and 12-gauge shells, but then again, you gotta be fit if you wanna survive the undead.

I don't need too much 7.62 for my M14/M21 since I use it for sniping, allowing me to carry alot of 12 gauge.

Suit yourself. Ill use my battle rifle as close as well as long range. Getting .308'd at point blank is not pretty.

Assault Carbine - Their better in smaller spaces with resonable distances.plus they have all the power of a full fledged rifle. however tehy are a bit heavier. and cumbersom. Use with care or have training in using such weapons in a close quarter battle situation.
