I think a great way for us to get to know each other a little bit better, we could post a small blurb about ourselves to do so.

I'll be brave and post first!

My name is Wendy, I live in Massachusetts. I am a married, at-home Mom of 3 girls ages, 12, 4, and 2. I've been playing The Sims since just about the beginning but I've only been part of the Sim Forums since last year. I still play but not as much as I used to - I am just an awful download-a-holic now! I cannot create anything but walls/floors - although I may give it a go sometime!
I like to scrapbook, read, take pics of my kids. I also really like to watch old movies and play my guitar.

What I really like about being online is meeting so many people from all over the world.

So do you design interiors and what kind of styling do you do for commercials. Just sounds interesting.

I style the clothes, I've also done the costumes for a couple of films... nobody ever heard of.
Most of the times it seems more interesting than it really is...working for some frozen food commercial or something, but it's nice, and you get to know many people.

ok...so I am a wee bit late for the sharing...

My name is Nichole, and I'm 25 (almost) years old. I currently live in Monterey, California with my geeky/adorable husband. I have been married for nearly 6 years!!:omg I am originally from Modesto...and I am glad I can finally say that an not have people ask me about Laci Peterson....its a town of almost 250,000...we dont all know each other:p

I have been hooked on the sims since forever. I got the game about a month or so after it came out...and its been love ever since. I've been around so long I remember when there was no such thing as a pay site.

I started in the forums at 3D sister. Went to Sim Freaks (a little) to LS, kinda to perfect gems (I still love all those people!) and now I kinda lurk around everywhere. I have a TS2 site, so I'm always looking for new ideas from forums.

Oh yeah, I have a cat--Elly. She is fairly evil, which is why my site is called Devil Kitty Sims...She is a 14lb 9 month old cat! And she likes to sit on my head at night.

That's about all....I'm really rather boring.

Well, you know us Americans have short memories because if you would have just said Modesto, I wouldn't even have thought about Peterson case. Boy, I bet your local news was really full of this story. Bet you were glad when the trail was over with.

Hello everyone I am Susan from Houston, Texas........so good so far, now what else can I say, oh I know........I have been happily married for 22 years to We have 2 kids, evil teenagers , just kidding their not that bad. Alex just graduated from High School and Sarah is still there. I have 5 cats and a very old collie dog Dollie.
Have Sims 1 and all the EPs for it and now have Sims 2 with University and I am going to get Nightlife when it comes out. I am addicted to downloading
Swarm is my second home ........help out with updates here and do mod duties here also. Love helping out others here in the Sims communtiy. Wonderful group of people here

I don't think I ever did one of these prior to the ezboard fiasco, so I guess I'll do one now.

My name is Rebecca. I live in Norman, OK for now. I have a daughter, Peyton, who turns 4 this August. I have a Pembroke Corgi named Piper. I've recently gone back to school and am having to re-do my general ed classes as they didn't transfer (and I had A's & B's GRRRR).

I've been playing the Sims since 2001 after Peyton was born. I have all the EP's for Sims 1. I've played Sims 2 at my sister's house, but due to school sucking all the money out of me, simply can't afford to upgrade my computer to allow me to play Sims 2 at this time.

And when not playing the Sims, Peyton & I play Pogo together.

Well I guess I will go next.

I have 3 sons. One is married, I have 2 grandchildren (a boy and a girl). Last 2 boys have 1 more year of college. Thank God. I am retiring the end of this year, if I have any finances left after the college thing. I live in Michigan. Love this state, snow and all. Will stay here after retiring. Hope my kids stay here. Love the SWARM, it is my second home.

My turn...Like Pat I am born and raised in Michigan, just outside Detroit. I have been married to Jim 22 years on July 23, have 2 boys...Bryan is almost 20 and Sean turns 10 tomorrow. And 1 baby who is actually a Border Collie named Rocky who is 3. I also love Swarm and spend a lot of time here!

I like to read, don't watch much TV except for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. And in case there is the slightest possibility no one has figured it out yet:

Well, I am 28 and live with my boyfriend of almost 5 years Adam and our three kitties in Maplewood, Minnesota. I work as an ambulance dispatcher for a large local company and I love it most of the time (we are usually very busy). In my little free time I have, I usually like to hang out. I also love to camp and fish and go to car races. I am addicted to NASCAR. I am also a mod here at Swarm and I don't post as much as I should, but I'm a pretty quiet person in real life too.

i guess you all know my name is tessa. i'm 15, i'll be 16 this sept. and i live in PA in a little town about an hour south of pittsburgh called scottdale. i go to geibel catholic high school and i'll be going into 11th grade. i love performing and do a lot of community theatre and i hope to major in theatre in college. i love reading, and i do a bit of writing. i'm addicted to the sims, but lately i've been a major download-a-holic! i also love to chat on aim, and if any of you do too, my sn is bigcheeze1989.

My name is Andrea a/k/a JuneFlowers! I currently live in Pine Hill, NJ w/my brand new hubby Steve (a/k/a "My Steve" ) and 2 cats named Onyx and Ross. I have been playing Sims1 (have all eps) for about 4 years now (I believe) and have just recently started to delurk in the community by posting here in the Swarm!! I love coming here everyday and chatting w/everyone! I also download waaaaayyyy too many objects that I possibly can't use them all much less get them onto my very old (but still working) computer!!

I hope to upgrade my computer by the end of the year and very quickly purchase, load and play Sims2 and its ep's!. But until then it is Sims1 for me!!! I have also started to download various blinkies, dolls, etc. for my sig which I love to "design" and update on a somewhat regular basis!

I also love to read, watch movies (lots of movies) and cross stitch when I'm not playing the Sims1.

My name is Silvia - iīm an Austrian girl (more a woman of 42 years ), married for 6 years, 2 stepchildren

My hubby bought me TS1 for a birthday present (i never had a PC game before) and what shell i say: It was the best present i ever got !
Since that iīm totally addicted to that game and became a download-aholic in no time ..

My other interests are reading a good book, cinema, listen to music, cooking receipts from all over the world and i like to eat them too ! , sport to stay healthy - thatīs it so far ...

OK my name Amanda married to hubby Jimmy. I have daughter 17 going 35 and real pain most of the time. Then My Son 8 he is Autisic but cute and loveable and has more energy thanTaz. I have no Pets now. I live in Town in England.
I don't work as I look after my son. When he's at school I go to college classes or help out a his school.
I play(not really now I build son plays) Sims far too long now and got all exp for Sims 1 and got Sims 2.

I just read your story and I have worked(volunteer) with autistic children myself in a child-daycare centre. I have done this for two years,preparing them to work with a computer. I once in a while work voluntary with children who takes a lot of energy of both parents as workers. Cause I don't have kids myself (I know of),I can give my energy.
For me this was a happy time and I loved the job. It made me aware that contact and sharing can be on different levels. I teached children on different levels,some could talk and handle computer well, an other was just facinated with my ears. I have great respect for you that you are so involved in your childs wellbeing,cause it takes a lot of energy and patience. I hope he is doing well and can find some place in this world. Nick

So I am Susanne , Single 37 year old from Sweden...

I started to play Sims1 in August 2003 and in March 2004 I had to try Recolouring... I was hooked...

I got a medical condition called PCO... no fun and has made me beeing at home . So I used to have a lot of time to kill as I don't have any Boyfriend or any pets.

Well, Sims cured that problem and nowadays I can't seem to get enough time to creat, update and maintain my site , beeing her at my second home etc...

Oh ... I also am a holic ...

I also make Barbie Doll clothes , some for Sale at a hand craft Market and some for Fun...

ColourCrazy and Patternnutty are just the beginning...
