Even though I like some of his movies.....would of never married pretty boy in the first place.

I hear ya, he is just way too controlling, I've heard.

Yea, I have heard the same thing. Have been reading Scientology can be controlling but don't think you can blame his beliefs alone for him being controlling type of personality.


I admire Katie for having the courage to leave and to fight for Suri.

But I am also kind of torn re: Katie. How could she not have known what he was like before she married him? Or did she know and just finally had enough? I am glad she got her kid out though before she became another zombie.

But I have been following the gossip columns as well. One reporter had a good point that shows how Scientology has different rules for it's famous celebrity members. Word is anyone who leaves the church (cult) is considered a Suppressive Person and is to be cut off completely from any contact with the people still in the COS. So this should mean that Tom Cruise has no more contact with Katie or Suri...but you know that will never happen as he is too far up in the hierarchy there.

I have to believe that COS will implode soon with all the constant bad publicity and stories about them. They can only deny things so long...where there is smoke there is almost always fire.

I think Katie got caught up in the fantasy of being with and marrying Tom Cruise. I bet TC wined and dined her and she couldn't believe Tom Cruise a famous movie star chose her. I'm guessing she didn't really see the problems of his control and Scientology would have over her. If she did start to see it, once she was , I'm betting she was determined to make it work.

I was reading on Scientology and watching youtube videos and they don't tell you everything they believe at first. They make it look more like a self help group. That they will make you a better person. So they would have kept Katie clueless on what they believed.

I think the reason TC settled so quickly is because the COS told him to. They were getting bad publicly out of this.

Sure they will see Katie as a Suppressive Person but I'm sure they are hoping to influence Suri someday. Katie plans right now is to raise Suri Catholic.


What you really learn about COS is they are making huge profits off of people by telling them there is something wrong with them and they can fix it. You would think that if they really cared about people it wouldn't be about the money. Sounds like Republicans.

Yea, just read they got TC hooked when the "cured" his dyslexia. Did you know at one point he wanted to be a priest?

From what I am reading, if it is true, the custody states neither parent can talk to Suri about their respective religion until she is older and can make a choice herself.

I had read she had already joined the local Catholic church......read the name but can't remember it now. Was named after a saint.


Katie went through a lot to escape TC & COS with planning all of this with disposable phones and lawyers. Don't think she will let Suri decide for herself without her influence. She has seen what happened to Nicole and her kids with TC because of COS.

I'm sure more details will be leaked in time. I bet that was the main part of the agreement, Katie keeping her mouth shut about COS and she gets full custody.


Saw this one story about this young guy in COS who ended up with a huge dept because of their so called treatments. He didn't have anymore money for their audit treatments so he ended up committing suicide. COS believe in reincarnation, so this guy thought he would just come back again.


Really wouldn't call COS a religion.....more like let me tell you some stupid stuff, your gullible and I run all the way to the bank with your money cult.

Katie enrolled Suri into a Catholic school. Looks like she got the upper hand in this divorce. How much you want to bet that Katie has something on Cruise and COS.

I'm sure she has lots of stuff under her hat.

Could make a good movie out of the story of a woman feeling trapped by her husband's religion, which she knows is a cult.....plans out her escape to protect her daughter. Fun to see her dig through TC desk for damaging info on COS.

Wonder who they could get to play TC part.
