My good news is that I am still alive , yes I know it is not BIG news but it is this little things that keeps you going

I know this is going to disappoint you.....but in the arm.....they always give flu shots in the arm.


Good news your alive because I have no money for your funeral. Could bury you in the back yard but the dogs might dig you up.


Good news is that I got some lifesavers gummies candy. They were Christmas gummies so got them at half price. I love gummy candy.

I need to do a more thorough check, but preliminary reports indicate I am also still alive.

No flu shots for me ever anywhere

Good news for me is today we have no where to go, no one coming here, and no shopping to do! Unfortunately I do have to do some work, but can take it easy as no parts are needed til next week.

11 hours on the soccer fields today, 3 hours yesterday, 8 more tomorrow. Luckily I enjoy doing this soccer tournament every year, cause I am tired and my poor dogs are barking.

Yay, done...and only 1 stupid parent this year complaining about our refs cause her kids team lost


Sean didn't play in this one, he did some refereeing and also worked Sat. and Sun and had a soccer game at 6:30 today. This is for our younger kids U8 through U14. His tournament is in a few weeks.

I have been making myself stay awake til now so I wouldn't be awake at 4am Going to bed now!

That's great for Sean to have a chance to referee some games. Good experience for him. I hope he had fun doing it.

Don't understand parents who get all crazy with sport games. Good y'all didn't have a problem with them this year. Only one bad parent is doing good with so many kids & parents. Maybe they are afraid of ending up on youtube.

Good news for me is that I got a new electric toothbrush......I love it. My old one was bad and had to finally get a new one since they stopped making replacement heads for it. I went with a different brand and this one makes my teeth feel like I just went to the dentist and had my teeth clean. So very happy with it.

I did hate to spend the money for it but it does make a big difference. Trying to keep that dentist from pulling my teeth out. Steve wanted me to get the UV sanitizer one....but that one is over a 100 .

We are finally going to have temps in the lower 80's for at least a few days. I am so tired of these high 90's degree days, where you go outside and feel like you can't breathe.

We have been actually cooler than our normal summer. We have been in the low to mid 90. It's still hot but not as hot as it usually is. We have been getting lots of rain in July. This coming week it gets better with highs in the higher 80's in July. With even more rain coming.

So I guess that is something good for us too.

Can't believe all the hot weather y'all have been having. You didn't even have much of a winter. Your state is turning into Texas.


Read that more people are starting to believe in climate change.

Yeah, I spoke too soon. Just went out to take the boys out and it is already 94

We never had summers like this, every day this month so far has been over 90.



I get cranky when I get hot, good thing we have A/C.

I guess you would melt here in Texas

It's 97 here now, humidity is high so that makes it feel worse. Just normal Texas heat right now.

This is when it's nice to be able to have a pool . Would have been nice to have bought a house with a pool.


Just looked at the radar we have rain coming our way.

Good news today is I bought my 1st e-book. My brother gave me a gift card from amazon I used it to buy The Huger Games Trilogy. Loved the movie Hunger Games and wanted to read all 3 books and not wait for the movies.

I have an iPad and you can download the kindle app...so can use my iPad as a kindle. So that is cool. I think they make an app for everything now of days.



Other good news........I'm still 30

I have read all 3 and loved them! Have fun , I love my Kindle.

Happy 84th birthday to my dear old mommy! Having the family here for dinner around 4. Just finished cleaning and am taking a break before I start making mosticiolli. Ordering chicken from Kroger and potatoes from Chicken Shack. Ironically don't like the chicken at Chicken Shack. Sister bringing salad, brother bringing cake, aunt and uncle bringing fruit salad. Nice and easy and stress free.

What is good for me today is that I am home after one week in hospital , and I was in hospital for open heart operation , I had 4 bypasses .

It started like an ordinairy day , it was cold on the street and I kicked a kid just for fun when I walked to my apointment with the doctor , I would get an exam to see if I had blockages in my vains .
Turned out I had 4 and 1 was very dangerous so before I knew it I was in an ambulance with light and sirens on my way to the OR in some other part of the country where a team was waiting on me to saw my ribs open .

So meanwhile I was thinking maybe I will die today and how do I feel about that , I was not scared , very calm actualy .

I was happy if I would live some more years .
If I would have died that day I was also happy to find out that , I made mistakes , regretted stuff , that I had love , fun and drama and that I could accept myself and my life however small and ordinairy it have been , it was still my life .
So that was good to find out but I am glad that I have still some time .

And there is another thing I found out , my ribs are wired together with metal thread but not enough to work for fridgemagnets

Thank God your are okay. Thank God for doctors and modern medicines. I'm so happy your going to be okay. I can't believe how quick you are home from the hospital. Make sure you follow all doctors orders during your recovery.

Good to know you will be around much longer......to kick kids, leave babies on church steps, get banned from forums and argue politics with me.

Just know if something happened to you....you would be missed.

Good God! Thai is awful and good at the same time. Awful it happened, good you are alive.

Susan it was 9 days , I wrote wrong but still I think it is fast too to go out the hospital .
I have help in the household cause I can't lift anything for 6 weeks cause my ribs have to grow together .
And in a few weeks I have to go to cardioexcercise , it is a bit like old people moving on the beat of Barbra Streisand

Eileen , I try to keep alife .
Sissi my cat has died a few weeks ago , I had to let her go to sleep cause she had cancer , yes , I know it is not happy news but I am done now .
Around 9 years ago a vet said that she had some sort of cat leukimia and that I had to put her asleep on the spot cause she would only suffer from it .
But I wanted to wait and see if we could fight it , and she had 3 times some kind of collaps and 3 times she recovered but the tfourth time came almost right after the third time so then I knew it was time to let her go.
She is burried in my garden exactly where she always sat to watch the birds and everything that moved .

So 2013 didn't start out too fine for me but spring is coming so lets see what happens , maybe I hook up at cardio excercise

My used puter is here !!!!

Late friday night I installed WindowsXP as it is an older puter and I am also used to XP.

Now it is early Sunday morning and I have tweaked the settings. I had to install drivers for the sound and graphics card and it all went smothly!

Zonealarm installed. Mozilla Firefox installed. Total Commander Installed.

PaintShopPro7 installed.

The Sims installed.

The Sims Double Delux Installed.

This puter is not as powerful as the one I used to have but it will be enough for SIMS and sims creating.

( Won't even try to install Sims 2 on it.)

I am so grateful for my brother , Sisinlaw and my 2 nephews.

It does look like a rough start for you in 2013. Spring is coming, I have to believe it will be better for you.

Good news for our family is my cousins had a baby, a boy. Everyone is healthy and happy. They already have a little girl who is 3. What's great with computers and facebook we get to see the baby and even see videos of him right away. So far they haven't decided on a name for him yet. I heard they like Alexander but not sure if they will go with it. Recently just had my great aunt pass away. It is always wonderful to see life renew itself and goes on.
