So now you want to add blinkies and dolls to your Avatar and Signature. So what do you do next.

First to have blinkies or dolls on your ezboard signature, avatars or to even show off you Sims stuff here on a ezboard forum you need to have a site that can host your images for you. Many of us here use photobucket or have their own website. Here are links to the General Resource Information provided by B bumblebee.gif for us all here at the Swarm to help you get started.

If you decide to use Photobucket here is a link for help with signing up and using it.
Using Photobucket

It is very important to have a place to store your own blinkies and dolls because when you use them directly from the site it steals bandwidth from that site. Which is very costly for site owners, plus it is also not very nice thing to do. So please no direct linking of your dolls and blinkies. You MUST right click on the blinkies you want to snag and click on save picture as to save it on your own computer (pictures folder). You need to save it as a .gif file if it is a blinkie or doll with animations. If it is just a picture you can save it as .jpg file.

It is very easy to add sig and avatar here on this forum. Just go to your Control Panel and you will see Personal Profile where you can Edit your Signature and Avatar. If you have any problems or have any questions just come in here and ask. We are more than happy to help. Khappy1.gif

Please Read from HoneyB:

- Avatars: U can add an avatar (the little pic under your name), a signature, edit your profile info, etc. by accessing your member control panel. Simply click on My Controls at the top of your screen & then look to the left for the Personal Profile menu. FYI…your avatar can be no larger than 125 x 100 pixels (anything larger will automatically be resized) & while the board gives u an option to upload your avatar pic to the server, please don’t. This is a free board so we have very limited storage space & ask that u use the Pre-installed Avatars or under "Your image avatars" enter an URL in the box next to "Enter an online avatar image" option to use an image u have hosted elsewhere.

Anything uploaded to the board will be deleted...sorry

- Signatures: Signatures can be no larger than 500 characters. If u don’t want to view other people’s signatures, u can turn them off by using the My Options menu again, selecting Options/Board Options/Board Display Settings & changing the “Do you wish to view members signatures when reading topics?” to “No”.
