Title: Roles
Description: Who is who?

Libera - February 12, 2009 07:25 PM (GMT)
Okay, according to Shakespeare, "All life is a stage, and that we are merely but players..." If that's so, what is the role of all these Citizenz of the Kingdom of Randomosity?
Okay, try this:

Architectofschoenstatt: Real Name: Nate -status: The Tyrant -short description: Tyrannical ruler of Randomosity, admired and disliked by all, on and off. He has survived assassination attempts, has locked topics and edited and deleted posts all over the place, due to the actions and espionage of the now famed Rebellion. He has created the sign for the New Universal Handshake, made by Vinnie. The Tyrant tried to gain total control of Randomosity and dismantle the Rebellion by designing the famous Oath of Fealty, which was ditched by the Tyrant after the Rebellion planted seeds of derision in its topic. But while the Oath was in existence, the Tyrant created the Order of the Knights of the Tyrant, which is led by its Lone Champion, Mary'sKnight. The Tyrant then made "The New Oath of Fealty", a more lenient edition of the once-hated Oath, in another attempt to gain the loyalty of the Randomosity citizens. The New Oath was not attacked by the Rebellion, keeping it around. The Tyrant's Lieutenant, Vinnie, and Mary'sKnight both signed the New Oath, but the rest of the Citizens seemed wary due to the editing powers exhibited by the Tyrant in the last Oath's topic. The Tyrant, seeing the tremendous popularity of the Code of Conductor and his topic, reopened the Code of Conduct. The Tyrant also considered appointing Mary's Instruments the "Informer of the Tyrant" as a reward for his announcing his Loyalty to the Tyrant, but decided that there were no posts open, due to the small population of Randomosity. In the New Oath of Fealty, the Genius of the Tyrant was displayed as he edited the posts of Rebellion officials such as Libera, the Mastermind behind the Rebellion. But Libera had a plan beforehand; however, the Tyrant thus used his Masterful Craftiness to trick Daniel the Innocent, who feared unpopularity by the massive numbers of Oath "signers", to take the New Oath. The Cult of Personality, and the Leader of the said Cult, Vinnie, lost favor with the Tyrant, and was removed from his office of Lieutenant because of his pompous postage. The Tyrant promised to appoint another Citizen to fill the open position. A debate insued, with all the Citizenz wanting to make their sentiments known on who the next Lieutenant would be. On May 18th, the Tyrant announced that he would name the new Lieutenant on the next day. On the 19th, his announcement was made: "My new lieutenant... is Libera, aka Tiny Tim." Almost immediately, the Citizenz General began to comment on the appointment.

Vinnie: Real Name: Kevin -status: The Lieutenant, or the Sidekick -short description: Famous creator of the "New Universal Handshake", signified by the typing "V%~~~~~ invented by The Tyrant. He was a former rebel, but was appointed by the Tyrant to the post of Second-In-Command. Known by all as the "Sidekick", Vinnie wants to be called "The Lieutenant"; he has to agree with the Tyrant in all things regarding Randomosity. He has no power over the citizens aside from his dreaded Secret Police: "The Cult of Personality." The Cult has been quite active, foiling an attempt at an assassination on the Tyrant, and earning Vinnie a commendation by the Tyrant. Vinnie was going to sign the Oath of Fealty created by the Tyrant, but the Tyrant was forced to destroy it before he could because of the meddling of the powerful Rebellion. Vinnie is one of those to sign "The New Oath of Fealty." Vinnie created a new Holiday, "Thank the Tyrant Day", on March 31st of every year. This won him a another commendation by the Tyrant. However, this seemed not to last, as Vinnie came under the Suspicion of the Tyrant, since he seemed to be sympathizing with the Rebellion. Then JV reported him, to the Tyrant, who acknowledged the report publicly. Thus, Vinnie, and his Cult, have begun to see Hard Times. And the Hard Times continued, while the Tyrant, following an assumption of Vinnie that the Tyrant could not harm him, announced the Removal of Vinnie as Lieutenant of Randomosity and the destruction of the Cult of Personality. On the morning of April 14th, the Order of the Knights of the Tyrant moved in and exterminated much of the Cult, including several of the Cult's main Agents. Many of the agents of the Cult defected to the Side of the Tyrant. These agents became known as the Knights of the Tyrant. Now Vinnie, instead of bowing to the wishes of the Tyrant and accepting the New, Recently Appointed Lieutenant, is determined to regain his lost post.

Thoams: Real Name: Tom -status: Code of Conductor -short description: Original maker of the Rebellion, now the Code of Conductor, having "control" over the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct was destroyed by the Tyrant due to the infiltration of Libera, the Ninja Leader of the Rebellion. The level of respect Thoams has in the Rebellion has fallen dramatically because of the way he sued for the mercy of the Tyrant in regards to the reopening of "his" Code of Conduct topic. However, despite his drop in the respect bar, Thoams has regained a bit of lost honor by being one of the Two main Agents causing the destruction of the Oath of Fealty. The Tyrant reopened the Code of Conduct eventually, putting Thoams in a good mood. Thoams' career was placed in jeopardy when he went on vacation. The Tyrant and many of the citizens were quite put out that the Code of Conductor was not available to Conduct some Code. Much of the conversation at that time was not at all friendly to the Conductor. But when the Code of Conductor returned, much to the jubilation of the Citizenz General, he began to Conduct the Code as well as anyone could have hoped.

D.J.R.S.: Real Name: Daniel -status: The Innocent -short description: Always unaware of what's going on, suspected by the Tyrant for Treason and Assisting the Rebellion. In the Words of the Tyrant: "He is so guilty!" He is constantly submitting innocent little posts with only innocent aims. His Innocence is easily confused and he likes to keep his English spelled correctly and to keep his grammar correct. Most of the Randomosity Citizens were shocked when the Tyrant appointed him Lieutenant of the Campfire Forum, a position the Innocent One cheerfully accepted. The Rebellion, however, met this position with distrust. In the Words of Libera: "Daniel the Innocent, might not be so innocent!" But D.J.R.S. still remains credited with having the most innocence of any of the Citizens. The "Innocent" One asked the Tyrant to reopen the New Oath of Fealty topic, that he might sign the Oath. The Tyrannical Ruler promptly agreed to do so, and thus D.J.R.S. joins the ever growing ranks of those to capitulate to the wishes of the Tyrant regarding the New Oath. The Innocent then decided to use his superior knowledge to aid the Citizens of Randomosity in their little problems. "Dear Daniel", as he is now (sometimes) called, began answering all the questions the Citizens could ask. Vinnie supposedly tried to take over the Topic, but the Tyrant graciously repelled Vinnie's attempt and restored it to Dear Daniel.

Libera: Real Name: Tim -status: Tiny -short description: Leader and Mastermind of the Rebellion, openly confronts the Tyrant, who keeps his editing power in practice because of him. He is known for his composing the Lament for the Randomosity Weekly, which went out of business. His posts have contained the most anti-Tyrant talk, which has made them be edited by the Tyrant. Libera was blacklisted by the Tyrant for undermining the Code of Conduct. But he doesn't care! He has used his influential posting to bring disorder to the Tyrant's Tyrannical Reign, forcing the Tyrant to keep deleting the famous "B00 the Tyrant!" post, which seemed to keep appearing from nowhere. However, the Tyrant cracked down on the Rebellion by releasing propaganda in Libera's name and eventually ordering the destruction of the Code of Conduct, thus imposing his own will upon the State of Randomosity by simply making one rule instead of the many: "I AM IN CONTROL." In other words, "As Tyrant, my word is Law." The Oath of Fealty was made by the Tyrant in an attempt to assure the following of the One Rule. However, the Hand of Libera was felt in the topic, even though he was not able to personally post there. The Oath collapsed, and the Rebellion remained as strong as ever. The Tyrant then decided to use trickery to try to promote his Tyrannical Reign in Libera's posts, and thus began the New Oath of Fealty. Libera, guessing what the Tyrant was up to, decided to post in the topic and did so. Immediately, the Tyrant swooped down and edited Libera's post, leaving it seeming as if Libera had signed the said Oath, then promptly closed the topic and began commending everyone for signing. But Libera, using his ForeSight, had already taken precautions to spread the Truth in case of a Tyrannical edit. He, before posting in the topic, had secretly sent out messages to the Rebellion, proclaiming his determination Never to sign the Oath of Fealty or the New Oath of Fealty. Suddenly, following a long debate on who the next Lieutenant of the Tyrant would be following Vinnie's demotement, the Tyrant shocked the world by proclaiming Libera as Lieutenant. Libera, however, was not present. The Tyrant found Libera in the REAL WORLD, and met him with these words: "Congratulations on your appointment!" Libera, naturally, did not know what the Tyrant was speaking of. After the Leader of the Rebellion's answer, which asked him which appointment he was being congratulated on, the Tyrant gave him a ghastly smile and replied: "Lieutenant of Randomosity!" This presented quite a pickle for Libera, who inhabited the same apartment as the former Lieutenant, Vinnie, who was still... not pleased with his demotement. Indeed many must have questioned the Tyrant's wisdom with the appointment of the most agressive Rebel the Kingdom had ever known as Lieutenant of Randomosity. Perhaps it was a plan to assure the Tyrant that the Leader of the Rebellion would never interfere again. Now, all Randomosity watches as Libera is confronted with the Loyalty Decisions of the Rebellion, and that of the Tyrannical Regime.

Mary's Instruments: Real Name: Tim -status: Tower Radio Guy -short description: Just another Citizen of the Great State of Randomosity. Only catch is that Mary's Instruments is a amatuer radio operator, and can call in amazing forces whenever he feels like it. He is one of the Two most direct reasons that the Oath of Fealty collapsed. Suddenly, directly after the Fall of the Oath, to the immediate astonishment of all, not least the Tyrant, Mary's Instruments pronounced his Loyalty to the Tyrant and wrote an Original Composition in Honor of the Tyrant. The Tyrant commended the Radio Guy, and even considered giving him a post in the Tyrannical Government of Randomosity. Libera, the Leader of the Rebellion, met the news with an ominous denunciation of Mary's Instruments. But the damage was done, and Mary's Instruments was under the protection of the Tyrant. Mary's Instruments also brazenly declared himself to be the "loyalist citizen of Randomosity." Vinnie, the Sidekick of the Tyrant, was not at all pleased with the statement. But then, Mary's Instruments revealed that he had in fact written the outlawed phrase "Boo the Tyrant" into the Composition, and that it was all a plot to undermine the Lieutenant of Randomosity, Vinnie, and to fill the hole with Mary's Instruments himself. He then further announced that the Rebellion had been laughing about it for a while, with Libera playing along by giving him a false denunciation. But the Radio Guy was too compassionate for the discomfiture the Tyrant would feel, and acknowledged the whole plot to him, thus calling it off. He has now once again announced his Neutrality in regards to the Rebellion. Mary's Instruments declared his intention to write a History of Randomosity, which made him a Historian. After the first edition, which was recieved well, he promised to submit the next on Mothers' Day, May 10th. This proved impossible, much to the chagrin of the Citizenz, particularly Libera. After the "releasing" of the next issue, something apperantly went wrong, since the edition could not be found. Many suspect MI of purposely witholding the information he discovered from the view of the Citizenz.

Mary'sKnight: Real Name: Nate -status: First of the Knights of the Tyrant, and, aside from Vinnie, the Tyrant's most faithful subject. Mary'sKnight was the first person to actually sign both the Oath of Fealty and the New Oath of Fealty. He is the Lone Champion of the Order of the Knights of the Tyrant. On April 14, 2009, Mary'sKnight, Champion of the Order, led the Knights of the Tyrant against the Cult of Personality, which resided in the Personality Ghetto. With aid from defectors amidst the Cult, the Knights effectively vanquished the Cult, despite being unable to detect several of the Main Agents. This took place in utter secrecy, before it was released that the Cult was preparing an uprising similar to the Rebellion, and that the Knightly Order of Randomosity had done its supreme Duty in removing the threat.

<JV>: Real Name: John -status: N00b -short description: A young, inexperienced citizen, <JV> believes himself to be "the coolest person in the world" and "the reason i put the <> symbols on both sides of my name means that i greater than all of you." Yeah. So that was how JV made his presence in Randomosity felt. The Leader of the Rebellion, Libera, and the Tyrant somehow both agreed on one thing: The new attitude of superiority by this, as Libera called him, "n00b", should not be tolerated. And it wasn't. The Lieutenant of the Tyrant, Vinnie, moved in with the Cult of Personality, and when JV insulted the Venerable Sidekick, the Tyrant himself intervened. He immediately edited several of JV's posts. Thoams, the Code of Conductor, remarked once that "the N00b so far looks like he's remaining pretty neutral. he seems to be against all but himself. rebellion, tyrant, sidekick and all!" JV announced that he had self-proclaimed himself the "Bully" of Randomosity, and that he would officially commence bullying everyone. The Defense Union of Randomosity was begun to stop this Bully Movement. The Code of Conductor was expressly asked by the Tyrant to inact an Anti-Bullying Clause into the Code of Conduct. Soon, however, JV made another announcement. This time, it was regarding the Rebellion. He proclaimed his leadership of the Original Rebellion due to the absence of Frank the Tank. His reason: "sidekick" of the Puertorican.

Matt: Real Name: Matt -status: Magazine Man -short description: Mostly living in the Real World, Matt came to Randomosity with a purpose of bringing sanity to an otherwise chaotic world. However, Matt himself was caught up in the flutter and has become a Citizen of Randomosity. Matt has signed the New Oath of Fealty. Matt used to be undecided about which side he was on regarding the Rebellion, but now he's not sure. He is recognized as the First of the Flip-Floppers, who never seem to be able to make up their minds about which side to pick, so they (and Matt) just keep jumping from ship to ship.

puertorican shcoenstattier: Real Name: Frank -status: The Tank -short description: Frank the Tank used to enter the realm of Randomosity more often than he does now, one of the reasons being his relationship with the Tyrant and his Tyrannical Reign. At the beginning of the New Regime, the Tank announced the making of the Original Rebellion, the precursor of the Rebellion known today. The Tyrant instantly sent out a warrant for him: "A notable sum of money will be paid to the order of whoever catches the infamous criminal: Francisco "Diablo" Jose Alvarez Montalvo." He was never heard from again. Thoams, following the appointing of Vinnie as the Lieutenant of the Tyrant, announced that, since Frank the Tank had disappeared, he would start his own rebellion, which has carried on to this day. Frank the Tank is now little mentioned among the Citizens, but his powerful authoritative speeches are constantly being echoed by the Rebellion everywhere, who still look up to him as the Original Maker of their Cause. Information regarding him has been hard to come by, and it is the opinion of some that the Tyrant abducted him; others, particularly the Historians, that he sought "political asylum" on some far away place. Still others believe that he is gone at all, but has returned under an assumed name. Still, however, the general concensus was that he had disappeared, never to return again. Thus it was that JV announced his control over the Original Rebellion, and claimed that he was the "sidekick" of the Puertorican. This proclamation was met with disgust, since JV had made an unfavorable name from himself. But then the world shook on the Announcement of Daniel the Innocent that Frank the Tank had returned in the shadows of the night at the Innocent's request. This triggered conversation amongst the simpler Citizenz that Frank the Tank was 1) a noble guardian determined to set things right, and 2) a sadistic murderer determining to undermine the world, leaving nothing in its path. But still, the Puertorican has, as silently as he came, disappeared again from the Kingdom of Randomosity, and his whereabouts remain shrouded in mystery.

neon: Real Name: Peter -status: [Restricted] -short description: Neon is a firm believer in the Government of Randomosity, though he hardly ever enters into its domain.

Hey I like the new version of the roles. I congradulate you Tim on the correctness in pointing out that I am NEUTRAL in regards to the rebellion and the Tyranical leadership of this land of Randomosity. Aka I am sitting on the fence and I like it. I am trying to think of a possible role I can play to keep this great land of Randomosity, a great land. So until I declare a new role, my role not is nothing more that a neutral citizen in this great land of randomosity.

Thoams - March 30, 2009 10:14 PM (GMT)
alright, time to add <JV> to the list... unless of course you want him to establish his character more first. ^_^

Libera - March 31, 2009 12:29 AM (GMT)
That'd be good, but he's gonna take too long. I'll get him when I've got time.

architectofschoenstatt - March 31, 2009 12:48 AM (GMT)
You'd better edit Tower's Role.

Plus, I think JV's can be put in...and always edited if need be.

Libera - March 31, 2009 02:38 PM (GMT)
I'm sorry, I don't believe I follow your meaning as far as editing Tower's role... could you tell me?

architectofschoenstatt - March 31, 2009 04:26 PM (GMT)

Not on my side I can tell ya that!

Libera - April 1, 2009 01:27 AM (GMT)
Well I think I found out who's side he's on.

Actually, dear sidekick de la Tyranto, he is on your side. If you are on the Sido de la Tyranto, all others on the Sido de la Tyranto must be on the Sido de la Vinnie!(-o)

And in case you were wondering, and couldn't figure out for yourself, MI is on Team Tyrant.

Vinnie - April 1, 2009 01:29 AM (GMT)
DUH!!!

If he's on MY side, then he better be respectful of me and my Cult.
