Title: Your rank
Description: Explain it here!
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 10, 2006 12:55 AM (GMT)
Recently I discovered that you could change you're rank that appears under you're name. I chose mine beacuse I'm from Puerto Rico hence the name Foreign Legion. What about yours?
Andy S. - October 10, 2006 04:08 AM (GMT)
The poster king!
I used to have that, dropped it when I fell behind Joseph in post count, brought it back.
Kind of appropriate, considering my large post count.
architectofschoenstatt - October 10, 2006 07:01 PM (GMT)
Mine is kind of weird. I dressed up as a Jedi one day and put on sunglasses hence being the Cool Jedi.
Hubly - October 10, 2006 08:07 PM (GMT)
Mine pretty much explains me... show pig farmer that live on a farm that does FFA which means Future "Farmers" of America!!! Its ALOT of fun  By the way... "Farm Boy" Is a HUGE brand name :P

puertorican shcoenstattier - October 10, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
Don't worry Hubly, Nate thinks that he has a superior intelect just beacuse he read the Illiad. :P
minnesota_leader_guy - October 11, 2006 10:06 PM (GMT)
well i have read the iliad and the odyssey and i am going to read platos republic and the confessions by st. augustine, plus i am taking calculus and physics as a junior. if that doesnt explain my title nothing will. FYI nate i have also read many many other books also. dont assume superior intellect to everyone here.

You smart talkin to my pal!?!?!? :P
My title is pretty self explanatory. OK, maybe I'm not the official genius of the world, but I'll bet I'm the most obsessed music freak on the forum. If not, than almost. Fr. Mark once asked me "So are you going to graduate, or are you just going to play music?" Well, I plan on doing both. But I have a hard time putting first things first.
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 12, 2006 08:41 PM (GMT)
You tell him Minnessotta leader guy!

I bet I could give you a run, excuse me, a riff for your money. :D
minnesota_leader_guy - October 14, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
i dont play much music, but as for listening i am the most obsessed here i will bet anything on it. Thats about all i do. Sad isnt it. i do play some wicked harmonica though. which is about the only instrument im coordinated enough to play. I have zero fine muscle control, so guitar, piano and such illl never be good at.
mnpaladin - October 14, 2006 06:40 PM (GMT)
BTW, how do you title your username?

I don't quite get what you're saying, but if your challenging my guitar skills...I never claimed skill, just obsession.

I wouldn't argue that. I don't listen to music as much as I'd like. It is probably my third favorite thing to do though.
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 16, 2006 07:19 PM (GMT)
I play harmonica too Minessotta leader guy. What kind do you have?

There's a certain point which a person can reach where he is so smart, everybody is annoyed by him. <_< I don't mean to disturb your self esteem, friends.
Peace.
Luke J.F. - October 18, 2006 01:44 AM (GMT)
Ditto Phil, I totally agree! :P
stratman - October 18, 2006 06:07 PM (GMT)
I just took the PSAT test today. I don't feel like a genius at all now. Hopefully I'll be in better shape for the SAT test. Has anyboudy else taken that test? (Let me guess, the genius scored perfectly on it in his 7th grade. The other one did it in kindergarten :P )
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 18, 2006 06:47 PM (GMT)
Wow Nate, you take all those courses? You're a sophomore right? My brain is nothing compared to yours.
minnesota_leader_guy - October 18, 2006 11:08 PM (GMT)
I just made those claims to stick up for Hubly and to go against nate. I just like pretending to be cocky about my brainpower, but in reality i am very humble about it. :) I did take the PSAT last year and did surprisingly well and im taking it again on saturday. Hey Nate: did i forget to add that i am a year ahead in highscholl and really should be a sophomore right now.
Hey Fransisco: I play a hohner special 20 i only have 2 right now key of c and key of g, but am planning to get more soon. what kind do you play? what style do you play more? cross harp or straight harp?
I hope your not annoyed by me phil, i was just trying to argue with nate since no one else was man enough (or maybe capable enough, hehe) to toe the line with him.
See yall later,
Joe

How about "proud" enough.
stratman - October 19, 2006 05:59 PM (GMT)
Some people seem to have been born a year early. :P Just kidding. Its the people who are either very passionate about learning and education...or just looking for something to brag about. Ha ha ha ha. You know that I'm just frustrated because you guys are a year ahead and I am almost a year behind. It isn't too pretty. If I had been all up to date with my algebra(I'm doing Geometry when I'm supposed to be doing Algebra II), I would have done a little better on my PSAT test. I won't know how well I actually dod until December some time. I should be all up to date by the time the SAT test comes around though. I look ahead with optimism! :D
minnesota_leader_guy - October 19, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
It wasnt my decision it was my parents. Ive been a year ahead since 1st grade. they seem to have thought i was a brilliant child when i was young. :)

You may not know it, but I'm pretty obsessed about with music too. It's just hard to carry a piano around like a guitar. ;)
Anyway, do you know what a riff is, Phil?

I took the PSAT once, and did rather poorly in it compared to my other standardized test performances. I had a 69 in critical reading, a 54 in math, and a 64 in writing skills. I didn't take the SAT, but took at ACT (once) instead. I did much better. I scored a composite 30 out of a possible 36. Funny thing is, I thought I really had done badly.
Don't worry, you did better than you think you did, Phil.
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 19, 2006 09:57 PM (GMT)
Have any of you taken THE SAT? Any valuable info would be appreciated.
architectofschoenstatt - October 23, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
Tim has. (ask him about his scores. He might want to brag  :D ;)
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 24, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
Yeah I know his were off the charts! :)
mnpaladin - October 25, 2006 06:33 PM (GMT)
I took the ACT 9 months ago or so, and I got a 30 on it, so I was happy.
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 25, 2006 08:20 PM (GMT)
What's the highest score you can get?
Luke J.F. - October 25, 2006 08:21 PM (GMT)
i think it is 37, but im not sure so dont qoute me.
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 25, 2006 08:28 PM (GMT)
Wow! So if you got 30,mnpaladin,you're a genius!
architectofschoenstatt - October 25, 2006 09:26 PM (GMT)
I will take the PSAT next year probably, so then you can see how much of a genius I am. :D
puertorican shcoenstattier - October 25, 2006 11:47 PM (GMT)
Tim score still remains unbeatable!
