I don't know if you remember, Phil, but you ince called the corridor with the shower in it (SBB) the "Haunted Corridor". :D I decided to start a thread with that as it's Title because it is such a good one. Any idea what it should be about? :D :P

Ooh, I didn't know the SBB had a haunted corridor. Cool! Let's see, what kind of spooky legend can we cook up and perpetrate among those that will come after us and use the SBB? <_< ;)

The legend of the haunted corridor.

Well, last spring, when we were all gathered in the SBB to plan for a summer camp, we were somewhat crowded. We had trouble with managing the showers because there were only two stalls available to us. We complained to Father that we weren't all getting a shower and he started to say something but he hesitated. "What, Father? Is there another shower that we could use somewhere? "There is another." he said "But I don't know if I can trust you. There is a secret passage that leads to a secret corridor that leads to a secret shower, far back in the secret wing of the ancient basement. You may use it if you promise to be very careful." He said this with a seriousness that we were unaccustomed to seeing in Fr. Mark. "Sure Fr." I said, thinking that there was nothing to worry about. I'm in a rectory. What could ever be wrong with this corridor. I proceeded down the secret passage that was filled with old books that were clothed in cob webs and the abodes of spiders. I proceeded to the secret corridor. There was something about this corridor that sent a chill through my bones. I don't know what it was. But I forced myself to ignore the feeling and walked on. I found the secret shower and started to fiddle with the nozzle until it finally began to drool its weak flow of cold water. I was almost finished with the shower when my spine froze stiff with terror...

To be continued at a later time.

Indeed! B) (I just read it again. Where's the hands clapping smiley?)

That's a brilliant start. Anyone have any ideas to flesh out in more detail this legend story of fright?

I was in fact the person to follow Phil into the Haunted Corridor. I heard a [I]drip, drip, drip and then a muffled groan which seemed to permeate the Corridor. I heard a wet footstep and then a shadow appeared at the end of the corridor...

If you were there, Nate, don't leave us wondering what happened by only writing two sentences about your experience!

Geez! Why didn't you tell me so right away?!?!   I would have turned around right then and there. I didn't see those things but I wish I had because the next thing would never have happened.

But you see, I didn't experience any more. :D All I remember was a light headed sensation then I found myself showered and walking out of the Corridor into the Basement.

Yeah, we've got a great start going, but we need to embellish it more. Hmm, even if I wasn't there, if I have any ideas could I help the story along?

"Maybe I was there. I walked through that corridor many times, and always thought it was kind of odd. There was something definitely unusual abut it. And most of the creepiness seemed to originate from the shower. Let me think back to the strange happenings I got entangled in myself regarding that corridor..."

Although the Haunted Corridor has been for me an adventure, It did not start that way. I first heard Phil say that the Corridor was Haunted, and scorn and derision filled my mind as pictures of floating ghouls and cloaked Vampires flitted through my imagination. I soon put derision aside as I realized the Truth....

The first time I transversed the Haunted Corridor I remember encountering the strange sensation of the uneven floor shifting under my feet, as if set in motion by the shadow that always lurked at the end of the corridor. I remember slowly taking one step after another, wondering when the eerie sensation would stop...
