How to remove decal edges?
After gloss over the car with about 4 layers of gloss, you will see that it have build up over the decals. Thus, seeing the edges.

Wet sand start

Keep wet sanding until u see the edges have disappear and all smoothen out.
(This is the type of hazy surface before you start the polishing)

looks easy.. but seems like chances of oversanding still there :o
u normally use 2000 or 1500 grid sandpaper for this sanding purpose?

Thanks for the pictorial Maxwinamp. I always wanted to make a tutorial on this but I have no chance of doing it (it has been quite some time since I build model cars).
Klay, I think after 4 layers of clear coats the chances of oversanding is quite minimal...
I have been using this method for all my models and so far, ni mishaps or oversanding happens. The sandpaper grit depends on the layer of clear coats I have on the decal... Usually I wetsand using 500 grit and then smoothen using 800 grit before polishing.

Entau,
I used 4 layers of wet coat, so can sand confidently without damaging the decals.
snakeripper,
About 30 mins in between coats.

well entau...for me, initially a mist coat as to make sure the decal are adhere to the surface and will not 'crumble' or 'folded' as this may occur to some decal which i've try....then later follow by few layers of wet coats.
