That's supposed to be the Panji Wira aerobatic team.
I think the team didn't survive the last economic recession, that's why nothing more is known.
It's a nice scheme which should be done in decal form nonetheless. Go for it, Aidy!

it was the Graduation Open day at AOR..around 1995 or 1996, at that time, Hornet pun belum datang lagi, Mig & Hawk pun newly joint the force.
I remember air show by F-5E, Mig and Panji Wira and some Paskau hi rope down form Nuri...

Lads,
That's Panji Wira allright. 2 type of design were used by 15th sqdn. One is what you're seeing now and the other using 208 in blue colour scheme. Tip : Imagine the yellow is blue. I do have the photos of both and how the underneath looks like. Roughly.
The trick is not who can make the decals but to get the measurement correct. It seems that the 208 marking is a bit shorter that the yellow bird plus 3 triangle shape design running on top of the nose (blue or yellow). Underneath, you will have shapes of 'feathers" runing across the whell well covers right until the 2nd and 3rd pylon.
Top of the wing, run a cross the same. Tail side, easy. Only if someone can make a good drawings of the birds and compared with the pics I have in my iventory, making the Panji Wira decal is not impossible.
To be honest,it is not only because of economic impact that lead to the disband of Panji Wira. Policies, incidents and accidents played a BIG part to the whole shebang. That I can explain in another forum. Not here lah!

Hello all,
I am new to this forum and I am hoping someone can help me!
I am building a 1/3 scale jet turbine powered Radio controlled BAe Hawk 100 for entry into the 2013 World Jet Masters in Switzerland and I am trying to find any photos of the top/bottom of the Panji Wira Hawk display scheme. I have only found side views depsite spending 2 months searching!!
I found this thread today so am REALLY hoping that in the last 6 years people have managed to find any more photos of this scheme?
If so, please can you post them here of email me? I'm hoping you can save me and help me create a world beating model!
Kind Regards,
Mark

Wow, even with my name repeatedly mentioned, I somehow managed to miss this thread for 6 years!
Up to now, that one small pic is all I've got too. SO if some pics do surface, here or in my mailbox, decals could still be done if there is still a demand for it.

IMHO, if RMAF put the Smoking Bandit logo on both vertical tail with red paint as a background colour,
plus all dialectric panel painted in black, it would be 100% more awesome than the current scheme. ;)
here my ugly interpretation using paint,
