Keep it up. You might want to do this later when you post paint the bridge. Mix that 10% grey on the floor with 15% white with 90% thinner. Focus on the middle section and a bit on the sides. Weathered look bros!! And try to clean up that black on the throttles using 0.0 brush with white on the sides.

A little update on the build....done some base painting, without any wash or touch up..can't see much detail.

I am building only half size of ur Perkasa...hahaha. The big one belum start. Have to telan a few painkillers before starting.
As for the painting, really need to learn more on weathering, this model won't look convincing without it. Macam baru keluar dock!

Oh yea...baru sedar....1/72 Tamiya...haha i thot was the 1/32 one. Patutlah the detail looks so much better!! I thot you scratchbuilt all that, or Hooben gave you a better moulding :lol:

Just do an enamel black wash and some drybrush to pick out detail. Easiest way. Weathering should be very little, RMN kept these boats in spotless condition. Of course, dont be too clean..then looks like toy pulak

Looks great anyway, keep it as ref when u start the 1/32. Youll need it, trust me :lol:

Small comment: Bofors barrel nampak melenkung skit from the side view, and gap between bridge deckhouse and deck....

rigging... if you have a long hair... a strand of those hair will fit nicely... else
you can try those fishing line.... 0.14mm very cheap at your local fishing equipment shop..
