Based on responses on KIRIN's Kauz Pka. Ausf. K W.I.P thread, I'll start the Ma.K GB thread here.

No date and venue planned yet, as far as I know. We can use this thread to recruit and get head count for the Ma.K GB to kick off. We can get modellers from ZeroGunz to join in as well.

Anyway, this is actually a GB that I they I gonna propose to be something like joint GB between SMM and ZeroGunz. So far there are a few 'die-hard' fans of Ma.K from zerogunz that I believe they can commit on this GB.

My suggetion will be... lets make it a joint GB!

Just one question, how does a "joint forum GB" going to be carried on?

Everybody's wip MUST post in both forum?

Or everybody just post in his/her regular forum, where there's a high possibility that both forum members dont even know what's actually going on in the other forum.

I suppose we can 'enforce' posting in both forum :). That way, new members can get to know each other and maybe spark new interest :).

I'm member in both forum, just that after 2006/07 I'm more frequent here since I've 'expanded my horizon' :).

If we don't want to enforce the double forum WIP thingy, I supppose we can have a special thread to update what's going on @ ZeroGunz.

Personally, I prefer the double forum entry.

Dei..maybe you guy can do a join diorama for the final display, this will be cool..

This GB discussed long enough in ZeroGunz, but due to the reason of too many GB going on and individual commitment, this GB was prolong and postponed, I think now is the best time to make it surface again for discussion.

Making this GB as a joint GB for both forum which i believe that this will be a great spark and members that involved can have a good interaction, thus share of same interest, which I believe is, modelling.

I believe both of the members listed above have login IDs for both forums, if you dont really know what is a ZeroGunz forum is, let me share a link

this forum are mainly a gather place for gunpla lover, sci-fi modelling and some military modelling too. I was first join this forum and I finally found myself active in ZeroG forum. :lol:

As a fast result of this event, we can already see Phoon and Julius from zeroG, a first step to make this GB a success! WIth their modelling experience in Gunpla, I believe the benefit of this GB is not only friendship, but knowledge sharing! Btw, where is our Eddy???

OK, end of my ah pek long winded essay, let's me make some proposal on the details

Propose...

Venue : ICW
Date/duration : 4 (four) months, suggest to have a gathering with other GB too.
subject : Ma.K, let it be AFS, Krote, Gans, falke, nutrocker, hornisse, stingray...
Objective : build as many Ma.K as you can! that the reason why I propose 4 months.

As for posting in both forum, I dont think is an issue, cause like bomber vince, ray, xamel and myself ae actually posting our WIP and finished kit at both forums; So, posting at both forum, why not?

Finally, any suggestion are welcome to make this GB another success and remarkable event. :lol:

Kirin: I like the double posting idea. I too will update my build in both forums. Also its nice to have both forums member interact GB.

4 months is ok for me. Can settle my other GB first, before starting with this GB. :lol: So, when will it start actually??

I already have the complete collection of Ma.K form nitto from no.1 to no.14, and all the new kits from the Waves. :lol: Only will build if i got spare or double. :huh:
As you can see, those nitto's kits are not easy to build, big seam line... loose joint... but thats really fun to build.

Still haven't decide what to build. The nominees are:

1) Wave's Hornisse
2) Diorama: (Hasegawa's Falke + Winter figure) + Wave's "Polar Bear"
3) Wave's Melusine

I got most of the 1/20 stuff but missed the Super Jerry and Krote :(. I'm not really into the power suit... prefer the vehicles.

For display, I'll bring my 2010 completed Falke.

Any date set for this yet? If there is ample time, I might try to finish up my Falke project I started eons ago :P
