Ah, thank you very much. I'll get some gloss & matt coat plus thinner from HHQ this afternoon. biggrin.gif

I remember when I was very young, I loved to 'wash' and dry-brush things. At that time, (now I seriously remembered why I did not have Tamiya thinner) the water when dried up, left a lot of undesired marks...

Some Preiser figures came in the mail, all the way from Germany. This is the first time I have a 'complete' Preiser set. I think, with some bags or pouches, I can turn them into German Paratroopers...

Although the box cover shows you the various poses, its not complete as evident from the 'group' photo of the unpainted models. There are others and you can mix and match the arms for other variations. Look at the figure, 3rd from the left (Top) or 2nd from the left (Bottom)

Because, that figure looks like a female and from the sprue, I think I am right. This is good as this is the image in many modern Army.

However, there is a slight problem when compared to Revell's 1/72. Then again, in real life, not everyone is of the same height. This means I can mix the figures more realistically.

Another figure set came in and this time, its Revell's 1/72 modern Nato Pilots. I wanted this because the other Revell kit has pilots in World War II.

Upon opening the box, I was happy with some of the poses in that sprue...

... such as this one with his arms folded. However, I cannot use it unless I modify the uniform to be a non NATO jumpsuit. Unofrtunately, same goes for the Pilot who is wearing a helmet which I am sure in a C-160, there is no need for that, just headphones. So, I cannot use this box set for the moment.

Hi may i know where did you buy the revell 1/72 nato pilots??

@phantom96
I got this from a shop in Germany via eBay. Did not know it even existed.

Did nothing much over the weekend as I was busy with another dead project which suddenly, came back to life. Not only that, I was feeling a bit depressed as the deadline is getting nearer and all my schedule is shot out of the window.

Anyway, this is the best I could do since my heart is not into it today.

I have resprayed the cabin floor as I do not know how to remove the accidental grey patch near the stairs. The more I sprayed it, the worse it got. Finally, I got fed up, mixed clear coat and some flatbase with the current gray paint (I purposely did not clean the airbrush for this) and sprayed until the patch was not so obvious anymore. Then, I dry-brushed some silver onto the floor and also the stairs before giving it a black wash. So, the 'white' stuff is actually silver being reflected back by the light. So, to me, I consider this done and I am going to the cargo bay next...
