Hello,

can anyone help me with the weapons load out on the Hawk 208? I have seen in forums where there are 4 sidewinders on the tips and out board pylons. Well I went looking for sidewinders in my spares box and I see like 4 different kinds! Can anyone even tell me what kind of sidewinders the RMAF uses?

I was hoping maybe using a combination of Sparrow and sidewinders. Any pointers?

Thank you.

Philip

You should use AIM-9J's because they are externally similar to the AIM-9P-4(?) used locally.

AIM-9L's may also be used, but photos seem to indicate these are inert load training rounds.

No AIM-7 Sparrows. Only our F/A-18D's carry them.

Some more knowledgeable forum members can chime in here.

Bud?
