Hi all,

Just painting this figures for my son .. as he collects toy soldiers ... ( or is it just my alasan to do figures ... tongue.gif )
The figure is very small ... my head hurts everytime I paint this ... so a lot of errors in painting .. sigh .. atempt on drybrush also tak jadi ....

Well next I will attach the swords, the halberd and shield .. then matt varnish and wash it.

So far looks good. Once all attached, do a wash before you dry brush. That'll pick up the small details (if you dont feel like picking it one by one)

looking good.

A word of caution tho', if you son is young preferable to use non-toxic paints or water-colors.
Teach him to wash his hands before taking food or rubbing his eyes etc..

Just a precaution & my 2 cents advise.

Yes , I agree with that. i think next project .. I may work on non toxic paint. Currently I only have enamel paint in my stash.

I pick up back on this project after a long delay ... I was in a stressful mode this pass month... and painting this really relax me back ...

Next step is to filter it .. date .. not sure yet .. maybe next week or when I am stress to max again ...

Overall .... I like what I did with the figure .... I was happy and stress free after this session .....
