CP,
very nice conversion and great history lesson there. Did you managed to get the MiniArt legionaire that HHQ brought in recently?

I have only one question. Is it common to encrust jewellery into battle gear ?That ruby look close to 4 carats!

Loo,

Nope, I don't even have the chance to look at them (Roman subjects), they're gone when I visited Low's place.... HOT stuff!!. But I did bought the German knight and the Netherland Musketeer.

I don't think I'm qualified enough to verify your question on the ruby on Roman head gear as I'm also reads from the internet. But looking from images or movies.... most Roman officers are either came from rich senate families or hold high status in Roman office, I'd only presume encrust jewellery maybe one of their method to sdisplay their supreme status in the army...

If there're any professional in Roman army knowledge out there, pls correct me if I'm wrong.

Regards,
CPTan
