Hello! Can I anyone tell me which paint code to use for TUDM? What's the colour for the cockpit, fuselage, wheel bay etc.? It is for the "TUDM, What if.... GB". I am no expert in TUDM.
Thanks in advance. Cheers, WK Choong |

The various decal manufacturers state what colours to use for TUDM planes.
For the interiors, I think it is safe to say that you can follow kit manufacturers' recommendations..... |

Chief......if you provide the actual bird it will be easier to assist......but if you going for the what if builds................then .....kit reccomendations will be fine....as eariler mentioned, most of the TUDM stuff are similar to the kits.....but due to local refuribsument ......colours change.....for example......
F-5.....some sheets will say white for the wells............but most in TUDM service has them in silver/alumimmuim...... Tebuan...my recent example.....the instructions said dark green from the wells....but reference showed them in silver............ On the other hand, Skyhawks.....insturctions call them as white....and ours are also white............ Hope this helps..........personally............i try to go as wht i see in the reference pics............ best mr b |

Mr wk
Actual history saw us using the CAC Avon Sabre...the cockpit was flat black....seat aliummium.........and the wheel bays same.........colour was OD and egg blue underside (white serials) or airframe silver/aliummium............with black speed tape on the leading edge........of the wing.......and black serials so you can use this combo.....too....for the details......airframe can be anything you like as its what if.....judging from the period....the above mentioned will suit fine or british style grey n green .....the combos are endless....the ghost camo came much later....as seen on f-5.....have fun hope to see it done soon best mr b |
