Here is my latest build.Eduard 1/48 Mirage 2000C in Peruvian marking.Actually, it's was a Heller kit with some resin & PE stuff from Eduard.

PE cockpit finished. My 1st time using PE,haha.Look tidy & neat compared to self painted cockpit.

so blue -1, sand -1.need more opinion,hehe.

To Ari, don't be afraid, even thou it's 80's mold, but it's has sufficient details and recessed panel lines. This kit is your only option for an accurate 2000C single seater.Yes, Italeri & Monogram do have Mirage 2000C kit,but its was the prototype version and you have to do some mods in order to built the 2000c.

Kinetic ones is for two seater and a bit complicated to assembled but it's got more detail and finesses compared to this old mold.

Another nice presentation by the MP of Teluk Intan to the modelling rakyat.

(MP in this case = musang pulut).

A few years ago I had corresponded with one of the writers of the French scale modelling magazine REPLIC, and he said the best (most accurate) Mirage 2000 kit is indeed the Heller kit.

I was thinking the Monogram kit would have sharper details, though. The Esci/Italeri one, isn't a good kit.

You'd have to scribe in the radome panel line/parting line - it's simply not there, probably because the prototype didn't have a radar fitted - just an aerodynamic shape for the nose. One of the things going for it is that it has nice engraved panel lines.
