Don't know what happened to all the car modellers out there. Probably busy preparing for the Malaysian F1 2012. Ha! Ha!

To make the small holes for the seat beat cross-over, it best to drill multiple 'smaller' holes in the area. Then using a sharp pointed knife (e.g. X-acto no. 11) cut along the areas that are not drilled. If you can't get any drill bit on the long horizontal slot, I guess you need a craving knife to scribe on it. It's a slow process but it is neat.

For your info, the smallest drill bit available in the market is 0.2mm (very expensive and fragile bit). 0.5mm bit is much more common in selected hardware stores.

Hi s.howart,

Go to Hobby HQ @ Fraser's Business Park (former F&N site) & ask Mr Low

I have seen some pretty small drill bits for sale in his model shop.

I knew I missed answering a question... dry.gif

In order to cut the holes for the seatbelt, you can use a 0.3mm drillbit. You can find it at hardware shops but not all shops will have it in stock. If you are in KL, it's best to visit HHQ as I've seen some small drill bits sold over there. Multifilla in Balakong also have some pretty good selection of small drill bits.

As for the horizontal hole on the seat, I would advise you to scribe it carefully using scriber or knife or if you have it, using photo etch saw. This will give you a horizontal hole without much cleaning to be done.

Hope this helps. smile.gif
