Hi Folks,

And the figure for the next session will be....(drum-roll) none other than the G-man himself, Mr.Gandalf the Grey, so be prepared to have a palette full of greys!

Just a reminder that this weekend's session would be a special session. We are going to have the Basic Buildling Workshop running side-by-side.

Again, thanks to our regulars Comics Mart, PoohBear, Somac and Bomber Vince, we had a full house workshop again. And also big thank you to our special guest appearances made by ChowHL and Beachbum.

Here are some photos to share with your guys. It looks like we are beginning to see a good mix of figure painters.

Keep an eye on the next Minifigure Painting Session. It's in early June and not mid-June.

On a totally sidenote, if you look close enough at Herr Poohbear's Gandalf you can actually see Gandalf's eyebrows, the cross stitching on the belt, and you can even barely make out the brand of the belt. Looks like a Gucci to me. wink.gif

Seriously though, Herr Pooh must either have a single hair brush, rock steady sniper fingers, a large magnifying glass or any of combination of the above.

Who painted the other G-man?
Is that red light shining on it?

There's a system to the new paints. Formulated specifically for base coating, painting layers, dry brushing, texture, etc. Base paints are thick and covers well, layer paints are thinner, dry brushing paints are..well, dry. Quite nice to paint with, so far.
