This is my just finished 1/72 MiG-29N built from the Italeri kit. I also used VFA decals and probe, NeOmega seat plus some bits from the spares box. The IP was also modified a bit but still felt sub-par. I'm also a bit unhappy not being able to scratch a decent HUD for the cockpit but overall I'm glad with how it finished. Now I can start with something Cold War.

Pictures!

Oh, yes... I'm still waiting for some missiles from a friend so they'll be added later.

So, what do you guys think?

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I'm kinda glad about how the shading turned out. Still trying to learn to weather my planes...

Sonny,
I didn't do anything special to the canopies, only some light buffing with an old Pagoda shirt. The clarity you see here could be due to the lighting and angles of the shot as it isn't really THAT clear in person.

Hi Aidy.. excellent completion on the mig-29
nice additions you have there too..
it's just sad I always wanted to build a 1/72 but do not have the correct decals for the gray scheme.. happy.gif
I managed to get a copy of the VFA decals in 1/48, was thinking of mix and match decals fr 1/72 tudm hornet and the scalenutz 1/72 mig..
Is the VFA in 1/72 still available in the market?

I used the same 1/48 combination for my Mig-29NUB, bt I have to trim the lightning decals and spray it black..

If I'm not wrong the square dark blue-light blue-yellow insigna have to trim to size.. I'm throwing in 1/144 tudm hornet roundels as well just in case the 1/72 one doesn't match the size for the mig..
and I've no idea how to get the gray letterings done in back.. been scouting the correct font with correct size.. no avail..
I guess that's too much a hassle.. better leave that kit back in box tongue.gif
