What made you like Se7en?

2005. July.

Stacey was feeling random and saw links to download a few Se7en songs... if I remember correctly, they were Tattoo and Come Back To Me.

At that time, she did not know at all who Se7en was, apart from the fact that Ria loved Se7en. She thought Se7en was actually a group of 7 people at the time. -__-;;

She stuffed the songs on her iPod and didn't really think of them. But then the songs came up while she was listening to music on the bus ride home from school. And she thought, "my goodness gracious me! This song is REALLY nice! Don't tell me I just said that about a Kpop song!" @_@ From that day on, every time WAJO started playing, she would like it more and more. (Not to forget Munshin... it was lovely too, but... ^^;; Wajo all the way)

She finally figured out (being the incredibly smart person that she was...) that Se7en was in fact ONE PERSON! :puccajoyous: What news it was. XP

Then she became more interested and started searching the Web for things related to Se7en. In particular, she really wanted to hear more songs. As of yet, pictures didn't matter much. Fruitless from searching for Se7en songs, she did manage to find a video clip. [It's the one where Se7en's on a radio show with Taebin, and they sing Passion, Tattoo and Collision, if I remember correctly] She saw the part of Se7en singing Passion and GOOD GRIEF SHE LOVED THE SONG!!!

She spent the next few weeks spazzing about Se7en in her blog, saving everything that Se7en's voice, face, self was in and generally driving herself crazy, as she had never seen the world of Korean yet, and everything was freakishly new to her. o.O

Stacey, thanks for posting that. I really didn't know much on how you liked Se7en.
I was really surprised you liked Se7en because ever since the OIAL days, you really didn't pay much attention on Kpop.

It was even more embarrassing on my behalf telling Wirda that I liked Shinhwa. She made a rather TOO BIG deal of it. <__<

It was in 2003, in Pops in Seoul. I saw his Come Back to Me MV. That's it. I won't talk about the details. >_<

Waht made me to like Se7en... definetly his music ^^ First what I saw was Hanbon dan Hanbon and this songs was in my haed over and over, then I found a MV to Wah Joh and I fallen in love with his music! :) and it was about 3 years ago ^^

Hmmm... I remember coming across the old bww2 site. The one where they changed banners every now and then. I came across Se7en's signature pic for his Must Listen days. You know, the pic where you can't see his face and he's wearing the cap with the word 'SE7EN' there. ^_^ He was also doing something with his fingers. Hee~

It piqued my curiosity. :P At first, I didn't really see the word 'SE7EN' there and I had to really squint since the banner was sort of small.

I recall searching like a madman (madwoman?) through the internet for more information on him. I downloaded his videos and a few mp3s just to listen to his music.

I didn't really have time to rant and rave about him because I was busy with school. So when summer '06 hit the Philippines, I went crazy surfing the net. I joined soompi, AsianFanatics and this forum to know more about our Ookie here. :P

What I really like about Se7en oppa is his music. His music has always been a source of comfort for me whenever I feel the lowest in my life. Like the time I got the news that I was almost failing Geometry, I just locked myself in my room, plugged in my iPod and cried while listening to 24/7. I felt much better then.

I'm listening to his album right now. I just had a big fight with my siblings and they're all ganging up on me. We had a screaming fight and I'm really crying as I'm typing this and I almost can't see anything as everything's becoming blurry right now. *hugs Se7en oppa* That's why I support him so much. In return for all the comfort he has given me, I support him the best I could. :garucrying:

True, his music gives comfort and happiness. I know he realizes the impact he has on people that's why he continues to work hard. I'm starting to be dramatic too. *sniffs*
I watched the DVD included in the 24/7 repackaged album earlier and there was this part where he said that he's hungry and without sleep because of his concert rehearsals. Goodness, that really touched me. I know I wasn't there to see his performance but all his efforts are appreciated.

my story goes like this

"Once Upon a time in the summer of 2004.. i was surfing the net on asianavenue =P.. and came across a picture of taebin and se7en.. i thought taebin was hotter.. anyways.. my friend gave me a link to watch all these korean music videos.. and i click on some to watch since i was bored and came across SE7EN.. and i lovee his song.. and thats how i met se7en.. =D.. till today.. =]

my cousin showed me him once like very very very long ago wen he first debuted and at first i thought Se7en was group of se7en people too but back then i really didn't care for korean music so i didn't give it another thought...then in 2004 wen i first started school again my fren was carrying her se7en must listen cd and she kept saying he was such a good artist but i still didn't care. She then forced me to borrow it and one day i was bored so i listened and it turns out i really did like it. Then she let me borrow the first one too...so thats how it all started...i didn't really go crazy crazy where i was suddenly obsessed...i didn't even know wut he looked like because most of the pics had him turned sideways or his face was paritally blocked my his hat/cap thingy...then as time went by i got more and more obsessed and since then he's introduced me to a lot of other korean artists and made me realize some of them are really talented...and that's my story...

My story is kinda.. I dunno. lol But heres mine.

I went to Korea in 2004 and I saw a MV of Se7en. It was Passion, but I didnt know any of that. But when I came back home in Canada, my cousin sent me a link to the extact same MV and I was like OMGG!!
From that I started liking him cux he was soo cute and his MV was awesome. hehe

Lol, I use to think Se7en had 3 people in it xD because there was an mp3 LJ community I visited that had a layout of him. There were 3 guys with the same outfit, but in different poses ;x so I thought they were separate people.

ANYWAY.. xD All of your stories sound so nice.. mine is like lame..

;3 Anywho, my first song of Se7en was "You're My Everything" (still thinking there were 3 people..), it was easy to listen~ I didn't think much about him.. Then, I heard his Passion and Crazy (that just came out back then) songs and I got to enjoy his upbeat songs ^^ So I decided to search more about him on z-degrees and joined the Se7en LJ community. Even made an LJ layout from Se7en Baskin Robbins pics. Before soompi crashed I learned about Tae7en xDD AND that self-cam in the bathtub ;0 Ahh, that was hot. u-u

'Til his 24/7 album came out 8D Cheeyah, my obsession rose up again~ and then kinda settled back down after a few months into this summer.. And I decided to check out the Se7en soompi thread again to catch up what's he been doing.. I got really excited hearing about the "American debut" and all that good stuff

i was in my bio class and we were in front of teh computers.... i was in J4U forum and they have this music player thingy... and they have the song "you're my evereything" ^^... being a dancer ^^, when i first heard "you're my everything", it catched my attention in a snap. i was dancing in my bio class ^^;; i got curious, so i asked who sang that song in the forum's chatterbox, and yeah they said it was se7en :) so yeah there! then i started listening to his songs..... downloaded his hot mv's.. looked at his clips.... and seriously he is SOOOO HOT! you cant resist him... u'll like LOVE HIM IN AN INSTANT!! ^^

ok...well i dont no how but my friend was realli into kpop...and she was giving me some mash up songs...faint/toxic...on this disc there was passion...and wen i heard it i was like...wow..this song is realli good who sings it?...i found out it was se7en..then i realised there were more se7en songs on this disc...collision, real luv story...and i was realli loving it...it took me abt 2 months b4 i then searching madly for more se7en songs...and i encountered come back to me...and totally fell in love with voice once again...
eventually i was like i should find out what he looks like...so i eventually saw his first album cover...and i was like eh...he looks ok...but didnt totally fall in love with the way he looks...insteand kept listening to his music...then... it went in search for more se7en pics...and i was like he's actually cute...its just that, that album cover isnt the greatest...

so for me it was his voice which caught me!!

I don't even remember how I found out about Se7en. I think I found one of his songs on an MP3 Rotation website. I loved the song so I decided to find more. His voice was sooo nice! At this point, I wasn't obsessed. I was a fan. :D

Then came 24/7. At some point after that, the obsession began.

when? I can't remember exactly when... I was just starting to learn about K-pop so I always watched arirang and waited for that music show. I was going back and forth between channels so when I clicked the remote back to arirang I caught a slight glimpse of the "crazy" MV.

A few days after, I caught the MV on MTV again and watched it. I fell inlove with his moves and the song was REALLY addicting... I started loving him since then.

and then it began...

i cant remember how long ive liked se7en and i do regret that i cant remember
but
i do remember that i got hooked on korean stuff when my girlfriend introduced me to the mvs of yg family, at that time i didnt know who the heck was Se7en since i think he just started to rise
I liked Sean from JinuSean at first but eventually ditched him for Se7en(i still like him but hes married lol) cause i saw a shy,young,energetic, and cute guy tagging along with the usual men in yg during game shows and such.
he grew on me and i felt bad that none of my girlfriends liked him much so i was like "you girls go for teddy and danny from 1tym, but i WANT Se7en!" lol
thats how it started i think, i still feel bad that i cant remember what month and year i got hooked onto 7 but it should be a couple of years by now

*kinda long :)*I'm guess I'm kinda late to Se7en. I've only been into him 7 months (LOL) since about Feb 06. How I got into se7en...I was a Rain fan first. I was watching youtube. There was a fanmade vid of Rain, tons of pics. But the song wasn't Rain. I heard it and was instanly loving the singer. Decided that i had to buy the guy's cd. I wondered who it was. When the credit came up for the vid It said Song You're my everything by Se7en. I had read posts of Se7en. but had no clue who he was. I was like OMG! That's what Se7en sounds like! Dang! he's awesome. I then went searching like crazy. I saw Passion. Thought great voice, good dancer. 3rd or 4th time watching I thought he's kinda cute and his lips are full, hmmm. Then I saw the vid for CRAZY. OMG! that's when I fell for him totally. The camera's close up on him. You can really see how truly cute he is. Se7en's my favorite singer(I love rain too) BUt se7en's different from anyone else. NO one is like him. He got it all. Voice, dancing and looks. even his personality is cute. I think the big part of what attracts me is that he's such a hard worker. unlike some artists in US he's got tons of talent but not stuck up. I'm so looking forward to anything he does! Oh and since i've gotten into Se7en, I've been working out. like some of you girls, I find Se7en cheers me up. I feel tons better about myself. I've been losing weight. I've lost 40lbs so far. I just crank up my mp3 during taebo, let Se7en sing to me :)

hm.. well back in 2004I was bored and i started browsing at lexy videos and i came across se7en video's a first i looked boring so i didn't bother watching it . but the next day i ddecided what the heck. i click on passion, and then automaticly i liked it . then i started listening to crazy . I thought se7en was cute, but not as cute as taebin. but when se7en released, his 3rd album. i started liking him more. haha so yepp thats my story.

I feel so lucky to know Se7en. & it's all thanks to my Korean friend which he probably doesn't even know what he did because it was really indirect XD.

I actually started out being a jrock fan... and especially a Gackt fan for years (5). Through a university project I met a Korean guy and we became very good friends... and oppa was the one who introduced me to kmovies because he suggested I watch My Sassy Girl. Before this time, I knew nothing of Korean entertainment.

I watched My Sassy Girl, loved Shin Seung Hun's "I Beleive" and from there on joined a lj kpop community and just tried some songs that looked interesting. I ended up downloading some Se7en songs but didn't actually listen to them until weeks later and BAM! I was hooked. LOVED Wahjoh; and Passion was awsome too. Downloaded his first album and loved every song on there, something that had NEVER happened before. I was amazed. Along the way I found pics and vids of him too and the rest is history =O

Since liking Se7en I've discovered more and more kmusic that I like and now i'm pretty much a kmusic fan and ditched jmusic ^^;;

I only started liking Se7en like a month and a half before 24/7 was released... so not long at all... but now I own all his Korean CDs and his Japanese singles, the repackage, the con dvd, china ver of just listen... and the photobook is on its way to my house =D

I truly feel that I won't ever fall out of love with Se7en. I respect him so much... he seems so genuine... his personality is so lovable and his smile! It's infectious... but yeah... sorry for the big rambly post... no one is probably interested much but there you have it XD

Se7en had corn rolls at the time . haha and looked pretty ghetto. I didn't know much about him at all but i thought he was cute, even though his style was not appealing to me. ^_^

I was bored an decided to visit a schoolmates myspace page that I hadn't seen in a while. Scrolling threw it I saw a section where you list all the music she liked. Under the list there where some youtube video's. I tried to read the titles of them, but they where all in question marks. My curiousity got the best of me and I click play on one t listen to it. That video was Passion. I had never really listened to any K or J-pop before, and I thought it was cool. I watched the second video I Know and thought that it was really cool. Since Se7en had all those dancera in the video, I actually thought se7en was a group of 7 and just not one person XD. Needless t say, I wanted to hear more so I searched youtube for more videos, realized se7en was just one hot sexy guy, and became crazy obsessed. Now here i am XD

Definitely his music. My friend introduced Korean music to me and Se7en was the first artist I've listened to and still has been my fav artist ever since!

Well, I remember very clearly how I managed to like Se7en!!
I've never ever even touched or go near korean music before, and I'm chinese so I was into Cpop.
I was watching a program that was like a chinese star buzz called "the scoop"..
And it was the time when Bi/Rain was going over to HongKong to perform and all that, probably about this year or the end of last year. Then Se7en also did the same.
I saw him and I thought he was err..not bashing but "ugly". xD (I have no idea of how I even thought of that word! LOL)
So I didn't really pay attention to him after that.
But the one day on MSN, I saw on the personal message thing that my friend called Sam was listening to one of his sister's song called "You're My Everything". Obviously, but Se7en. I was like "He has similar music taste to me..I wonder if it sounds good" So I went on Limewire and downloaded it.
I was like "WOW! Its pretty good" so I downloaded "Baby I Like You Like That" and then "Come Back To Me" and yeah..I wasn't actually obsessed with him..yet. I still thought he was ugly, but less.
Until one day, I saw him on that chinese star buzz program again and he was performing in it. He was sooooo hot! lol xD
And so I looked for sites to download his videos and all that, and realised that he has released a new album called "24/7". This was during March I guess.
His look was gorgeous so I started getting obssessed..xDDDDDD
I'm still obssessed with him at this very moment..kekekek
And also, thanks to se7en..he also bought me into the wonderful world of Kpop ^^

I don't really remember when exactly I started listening to his songs, watching his vids and perfs... but right on, his music is just amazing.
He can sing, he can dance and he has the look too! lol.
This guy is not just talented... and I'm still wishing someday he can have a taste of acting career also, despite of his busy schedule ^^;;
