Hey guys!

I've noticed that some of you have designed your own Se7en Tshirts. We here at Red Queen Media have initiated a Merchandising campaign for Se7en beginning with creating a design for tshirts and posters to be sold on his Myspace and US fan club website. I would love to see any design work you might have. Sure, it would be easy to pay someone big bucks to design something. But, I think it would kinda neat to use something designed by a true Se7en fan and would be a better representation of what other Se7en fans want to see. If you want to submit a design and are willing to let us use it in possibly creating a official Se7en t-shirt, please feel free to email me here or at mchoi@redqueenmedia.com.

i have one design that is so nice created by one of the member...she is a very talented girl!!!I need to find where i put it....But i wonder i you take it from our website then will you credit the person who design it?

You should create a new thread in Be Heard or Studio Room. I think that way more people would react to your post. Do you know the site Soompi? They have a Se7en thread too, you could post this there too (or maybe someone else could repost it?) I hope Se7en fans would reunite once again to help him out, lol.

Are there any limitations to the design? Like colors, placement etc?

Hi Things,

We wanna try to keep things simple. One design front screen and one design back screen. I think we are going to stick with something half tone and one color. The design and placement will be scaled proportionately to the style of the shirt. One thing I wanted to ask you guys...do you ladies like to wear men Tees or prefer ladies Tees? For now, it looks like American Apparel tees for ladies and AAA t-shirts for men. Also, how do you feel about making tank tops available? Would girls prefer a t-shirt or a tank top? Keep in mind, we are going to make the shirt available on an international level not just the US.

i prefer ladies t-shirt but you should make a basic tee too..So that ppl can choose which one they want.Anyways, i feel that se7en t-shirt should be simple and nice and the design should be significant to him. HAve you seen the se7en's t-shirt in 747 concert?That t-shirt's design is simple and nice..Oh another thing, i think the team should delay the printing on the t-shirt before he release his US album cause i don't think so that US ppl are ready to buy merchandise from artist/??I'm not sure but i think the responds will be slow.Take one step at the time :) We shouldn't rush on doing everything at the same time.

The idea sounds really good.

Since you are going to do this internationally, I feel you should do a combination of everything. That way people can choose what type of T-shirt they want. Everyone is different. Some may prefer ladies, others men shirts.

Might I give a suggestion?
Pick one official color, and place the chosen design in front. In the back, maybe have like a number or something like that.

Oh, and a bit of advice.

Learning from what we've done here, please make sure that those who are purchasing from you DO NOT BACK OUT. It is a real hassel if people sign up, and then back out. Plus you want to know exactly how many T-shirts to print out in such.

As far as costs go, since it's international, the rates constantly change. SO, we have to continuously check the Rates.

Since you said t-shirts are going to be an international project (which I`m happy about) it will be better to ask everyone what they think about type of shirts. Personally I prefer ladies, but everyone have voice to choose.

About design. I think it will look better with desing in front of, and numer 7 (or Se7en) in back. But it`s only my think. ;]

Since it`s vacation time and people have more time they will participate in this project. I hope so... ;]
But like Patience said - make sure people who are in that will not back out. It`ll only make more difficulties and take more time than you thought.

Starting sold t-shirts will ba a way better after Se7en release his album. If you`ll decide to make it before I`m afraid this may not work such well.

People backing out really isn't an issue. People ordering shirts through Se7en's website or Myspace will be redirected to an e-commerce site. It's like purchasing merchandise from an online retail store. Your credit card or paypal payment must be approved before an order is shipped. I agree with the fact that T-shirt sales wouldn't do so well until after the album release. However, this is more of a test run for us. We will be producing a limited number of t-shirts iniitially just to gauge potential interest once we go on a larger scale. This would also allow us to set-up, improve and build upon the whole e-commerce and merchandising process to ensure that things run smoothly in the long run.

Well thank you for posting this here and letting the Se7en fans give their input and be part of this.
You have mentioned about one color probably you can give us a theme for the shirt design so that it would be more organized and people could focus and have a guide when creating the design. This would also avoid arguments and save time.
We have experienced this in our se7enth Heaven shirt people were confused if the design of the shirt would be the logo, something Se7en related or Se7en himself. We end up with two design which actually are very nice but it kinda of took us a long time to get that done because it was hard for people to decide what to choose.

I suggest t-shirt rather than tank top, if this goes well then probably you can have the tank top.

I agree with Lisa about Se7en thread in Soompi maybe Se7enth Heaven member which are also members of Se7en thread in soompi could create a banner or put it in their siggie as advertisement.

I'm asking on behalf of my friend (who should post more..), will there be any compensation if one's design is chosen/used? Though I'm guessing there isn't really much to offer right now seeing how this still in an early stage, but she is wondering about that.

Speaking of merchandise, will you be able sell previous Se7en items that were distributed by YG/former designers?

yapz, like mac say.,.. maybe RQM should make some guidelines first bout the design.....
what colour, only text ^no pics^, with pics and text ^maybe there is some text that we have put into the design^ so on ....

maybe you should tell us the theme first.... so we can think bout the concept related to that theme....

wow; the idea sounds totally cool; untill yumei told me on msn; i only came here to read a few days later.

i wanna participate in designing the tee-
personally i don have any particular interest whether in mens tee or ladies; but if there were to be a tank top for ladies. < i'd go for that.

like wad gc_kun that rqm comes out with a set of themes and rules etc- so it'd make tings clearer for designers who will be working on it. and since its summer vacation now for most members like what tekashi said i guess there will be alot more people who will participate in this project.

:puccajoyous: Yeah, that'll be great if you guys did sell his previous items~ =) About what to design for it, I'm looking forward to that too. It'd be awesome if one of our very own members from here did it. Our forum would get more recognition too. :D I don't see a lot designing on tank tops these days. So, I think tank tops would be nice during this time of the season+..And more on ladies Tees~The majority of buyers will be girls.. lol, [[*well, hopefully it'll be more girls who will buy it! Ha!, to think that more guys will buy it than us! hehe]]

It'll be even better if it had a glittery feel to it..I like glittery items. :D But, just my opinion on things. Hope this helps for some ideas. :high7:

I am really glad that RQM is allowing Se7en fans to participate in this project as there are a lot of talented Se7en fans here in this forum and in many other Se7en forums. (Sadly, I'm not one of them.) Will we also get to participate in the voting process for the design as well or will it be an executive decision? It would be totally great if Se7en choose the design too!

I figure that there will be no way to back out of an order in this case as payment will have to be received before the item is shipped out as any business would run. So the whole backing out thing that was experienced here will not happen with this promotional t-shirt.

As for sizes, it doesn't matter to me. I usually go for the basic as ladies size tend to be one size smaller for me, but if not available, mens will work for me either way.

I am also glad that RQM is test-driving this process to make sure things run smoothly on a small scale. It will not look too good if things fall apart on a large scale. At least, if it does, you would have had experience and will have a back-up system in place in case of emergency.

I hope that I will be one of the lucky ones to get this limited number of t-shirts once it is completed, but I know I will probably not be so lucky. I'm pretty sure diehard fans of his will get it first since it will be "limited".
