Well, we've got the favorite fanfics thread, why not a thread for your favorite fanart?

Personally, I like just about anything Charles Williams II draws, somehow, he's captured the character designs PERFECTLY, so perfect in fact, I believe he could lead people to believe he was an artist, or an animator, or character designer for The Chipmunks! Seriously.

Lol, I especially love...

What a sweet, sweet picture of Jannet!

I have to think about a favorite picture, but since it's 1:26 AM in the place that I live (and by the way, Israel is before U.S.A in the world-time, meaning, it's Wednesday here in Israel and still Tuesday in America) , I think I'll go to sleep and post it tomorrow or something.

Anyway, I also love the drawings of Charles Williams II.

Considering I can't use myself as a favorite artist (that's being conceited anyways) I have a few favorite munkartists.

Charles Williams II- Pretty obvious, lots of people like him and how realistically he draws the chipmunks.

Hope- Probably my rank two on chipmunks being close to their cartoon counterparts. :D

KicsterAsh- Ash's chipmunk drawings are usually between adorable and awesome. :D And she's done both versions, cartoon and movieverse. Does a fantastic job on them. Pretty Alvin and Simon oriented, but she does draw the chipettes on occasion. http://kicsterash.deviantart.com

Kyrio- He's actually more of a Zelda, or to say nintendo in general, fanartist, but the last few weeks he's made a few great pieces of chipmunk artwork, and he's even done fanart on my chipmunk OC Cody! (Without even requesting it!) So major props to him. He doesnt draw the chipettes, because of lack of an attatchment, and being unable to draw them. http://kyrio.deviantart.com

And finally...

Simanette Fan- Love your drawings man. :P

[Blushes.] Thanks lol. Your drawings are great too. They are close to the official versions, yet you still have your own touch to it. :D

Yeah, and I think that's a good thing...

I mean, if we all drew them EXACTLY the same, then it'd be hard to distiguish fan artists from each other.

Plus, I always find it fun to try to guess who drew what just by looking at the way they're drawn.

Before I found out, I thought Charles's Jeanette drawing I shared above was drawn by Hope for some reason, lol.

Okay, now this question is for myself, Narf, and any and all fan artists reading this thread...

Out of everything that you've drawn so far, which one(s) seems to be the most popular with those who view your work on a regular basis? Which is(are) the most talked about? Which seems to get the most lovin'?

For me, my drawing with Jeanette's scraped knee has been my most talked about drawing so far, as I have heard nothing but compliments on it, even though it's not even a happy, amusing, or "cute" drawing.

Biz, here's the last forward front shot I did on Fritzie.
(Posted Image)

And this is the colorful version, but it's a different drawing.
(Posted Image)

Her ears aren't a solid brown, its more of a tan than a brown, but that's the general idea.

In terms of my most popular works, my most viewed drawing happens to also be my most atrocious version of the boys. It's most viewed though, not most popular.

The picture I have the most favorites on happens to be this colored pencil sketch I did of Theodore about a week ago:
(Posted Image)

This picture along with my Unlikely Hero cover are probably my most talked about and loved ones. I do have a few other great pictures, but they don't have the chipmunks in them.

However, this one probably got the most loving:
(Posted Image)

I made that picture as fan art to part three of my friend's chipmunks storyline. The chipmunk in orange is Cody. My friend was extremely grateful for the drawing, but I feel this one was most loved, because someone made some fan art on CODY because of it. The fanart was totally messed up, she got his personality wrong, but she did it because she liked my character so much. I think though that if she was going to make fanart of my character, she should at least get his personality right, and learn to give credit properly. When she made the picture, it originally said "cody once belongs to narfeth." That sounds like you're stealing my character. -.-

In Photoshop, there's a filter called Gaussian Blur, which blurs pictures by a set number of pixels. In this case, I blurred the Alvin layer like six pixels or so, to give it the look like he's throwing himself in the picture, literally right as it was shot.

Ahh... Fireworks has that, but I've never used it before (nor have I really given it any thought)... I'll have to try it sometime!

EDIT: Whoa, that is awesome! I can make things look as if I'm looking at them without my glasses on, lol!

Nah, I haven't stolen your homocidal emo chipettes yet, and I don't plan to either.... o_O (Lol) But yeah, they are all great artists after all. I would have RJ (4thSeville) in there too, but he got the banhammer.
