The Highs and Lows of Inuyasha

A new Inuyasha thread, What's good about Inuyasha and bad about Inuyasha?


What I think is good about Inuyasha is the demons , cute guys,the historical setting, and the music.

What I don't like about Inuyasha is the repetiveness.

Naraku comes , they almost defeat him then he escapes like a sore loser, the Inuyasha gang searches for that pussy all over again blah...blah..

^ ^ Let's see now. Inuyasha wont be one of the animes that I will always remember. I know its very sad, but its also very true. Like most animes I get into, I'm very excited about them in the beginning. But as the series goes on, the enthusiasm to watch it slowly fades to to the constant repeating of battles and the story pretty much not getting anywhere. In inuyasha there are three current stories going on. 1.) Finding the Shikon jewel shards. This story hasnt progressed at ALL. In fact it's lost progress because Kikyo stole the large chunk Kagome had, and since then they've hardly gotten any more shards. They only had three in Movie 2 and as far as I know the same goes for the most recent episodes. 2.) Finding and killing Naraku. As Koori said, they find him, fight him, and he escapes. This story isnt going anywhere either!! 3.) Defeat the Band of Seven. This is more like a mini story, it wont last the whole series. This story is slowly moving along. There is one more story that seems to be stuck as well. The love triangle between Kikyo, Inuyasha, and Kagome. Well, this story isnt so much as to be stuck. But its kinda on pause :\

Now the good parts are that the character development seems pretty good. The love conflict will always score major points with me, and the fact that one must watch the previous episodes to understand whats going on shows complexity. Whic also scores alot with me. ^ ^

Yep. Inuyasha is too SLOW....
