Shady Shores This is the place where stallions and mares come together to breed. It is very neutral, there are some light areas and some dark. The light bits have wonderful white sand, and palm trees that offer shade. The dark bits, however, have very grainy, brown sand, and there are rather a lot of pebbles which make it even harder to run on. There are several wilted palm trees, but they do not give much shade. The rules for breeding are in the OOC section, so go read them before coming here. Once you and your mate have bred, your foal's stats will be posted here, and then the dam may go back to her herdlands and foal there. Remember: Darks breed with Darks, Lights breed with Lights, and Neutrals can breed with either! Bloodstains Gorge The battlefield - a dusty, neutral-looking place, though it is faintly stained with the blood of the horses that have battled here. Tough, craggy sides make it impossible to climb and escape death, so once you are down, there is no escape, apart from the narrow path that slips between two leaning sides. Fights shall be watched over in OOC by White Raven. If you break the rules, the other character wins. If they do not reply in any situation within 5 real days, then the land/mare/position is yours. Restoring River Have you been hurt, or are you seriously wounded? Come here after a fight, and the river will heal you almost completely in mind, body and soul. The Stained Falls lie nearby, so watch it... there may be some angry spirits wanting revenge on the Dark Lord and Lady... But sometimes, if you're lucky, you may see a ghostly white horse gallop towards you through the water, and reach out to touch you. From then on, you will have been blessed by Mother Nature. Claiming Canyon The name says it all. This is where loners will come once they enter the lands, or they can simply go up to the herd itself. You cannot intend a certain lead to come and claim you here, though. Remember, you must be polite, Light, Dark or Neutral, to a Lead when they greet you. It is especially advised you do not try to insult a Dark. But, Lights are generally nice, and they will probably ignore an insult, though several might get annoyed. Mares, beware. Raping can take place here anytime, and foals may be produced. So, it is best to be on your guard, but still be polite. Autumn Plains This small terra is very attractive in Autumn. The reds and oranges and yellows come to life, their vibrant, bright colours livening up the Free Lands. A large lake lies in the centre of it, floribunda flowers growing in large clusters round the sides. Many equines come here to laze in the sunshine, or just get away from the hustle and bustle of their herd. Foaling Fields Straight after the parents breed in Shady Shores, they MUST post their stats here after a week from then. They also have a week to complete their stats - or the foal will not be born.
