I looked on the memberlist and saw a lot of people who never posted from about a 5 months ago all the way to last year (I'll admit, I only saw the first page of members, but seeing someone who joined in June/July of last year without a post kinda makes me wonder)! My personal suggestion is to delete accounts of people who never posted, from anytime last year all the way to probably March or later.

PS: Sorry for sounding blunt about it. It's just one of those little things I notice and wonder about.

*I'm back...*

And now to subject. For some of those people who never posted before 31st December 2005, I don't even know. As for newer members... They do appear sometimes. Like Len. Sometimes he is active, the he disappears and so on. Or Ice'Lord. Soon to make a big comeback. So Stuff wants to leave those occounts open, so that people wouldn't have to re-create accounts.

And Since I have been here, there has been only one deleted member, but it was someone who was banned a long time before I came here.

On the other side when you come and see over 200 members you ussually think "Nice." wink.gif

It's just a tactic to actually lure new members in. =P

Heh. Scorp's got it. I dunno, it works on me usually. I see a forum with over 100 members, I go wow, that site is probably fun to post at. Only problem here is that Spirits dies every winter and comes back alive in the spring, so people register in the summer, then when school starts, they forget all about it.

I, myself, have left the site a few times for various reasons, namely lack of a connection, boredom with SK in general, and the ever-increasing number of noobs.

So, techinically, you're telling me that

1) This 'tactic' doesn't mean anything else except for having members join.
-What will happen if this site dies because no one posts?

2) Since winter's coming up, the site will die down temporarily.
-Does this mean that coming here will be as good as useless next month?
