Session Five; Fading Away....., Another sad ending at Castle Oblivion...

Saix had gone back to the 13th floor, where the crystal ball was. So far his time at Castle Oblivion has been lower than boring. Zexions madness, fighting Hikari, Vexens failuires, Xaldins mysteriousness...It was all so sickening to him. "I wonder what Larxene and Kane are upto....." he said to himself look at the swirling mist inside the crystal ball.

Wandering through the castle, Zexion began to pace back and forth. He had heard of Vexen's plan, now involving alchemy. After reading up on stuff, he came to a conclusion.

Vexen was asked to do a human transmutation. That was the one thing forbidden to alchemist. Zexion let out an emotionless sigh. Another thing forbidden, but Vexen was going to persue it anyway.

"It may have been better if she didn't come here," he muttered, "If she didn't come, she wouldn't become a created human."

Then, he glanced at the viewing crystal at what was now at his department. "Kane."

Deymx let out an apathetic sigh as he nonchalantly made his way to the thirteenth floor. Thoughts of what had been happening within the organization swirled through his mind rapidly. He had been hearing much of this 'Kane' and wanted to learn more information for the time being. Deymx was beggining to grow tired with the organizations little games of kill then spare the lives of whoever,"Time to find out for myself...." he mumbled his thoughts carrying his guitar like weapon along.

Saix turned around seeing Deymx drag himself to the 13th floor. "Evening Deymx. What brings you to this part of the Castle?" he asked folding his arms.

Deymx was in deed childish but he can prove himself a powerful foe, unlike Hikari. But it takes more than wit to make Deymx fight that hard.

Deymx was now completely on the thirteenth floor, a flopsided smile curled upon his lips. "Likewise." he stated returning the friendly greeting,"I just wanted to receive more information about this person....Kane is it not?" he finshed casually answering Saix's question to his residence. He was a nice man and a very intelligent organization member. Demyx switched his weapon to the other hand letting the other rest.

Saix rolled his eyes at the questions. "Spare me, I know nothing of this person. All I know is that hes an intruder who is a possible keyblade canidite. At least thats the information Vexen told me." said Saix.

"I'm annoyed that Axel, Larxene, Xaldin, and even Zexion are on it. I don't know why they didn't ask for my or your assistance." Saix really didn't like how other members we included in on this an not himself. He didn't like being overshadowed.

Deymx nodded his head, "I agree without not one doubt hovering over my mind." Demyx said knowing exsactly how Saix felt as he was left little bits and scraps to scoop up and find information on this mysterious person,"It draws me to think they don't need us or that we must take matters into our own hands..." Deymx trailed off as ideas began to spiral its way into his mind.

Saix smiled getting hit by a stroke of genious. "Deymx, I think we should crash this operation. We should go greet our little intruder, before the others can get to him. I'm sure we can...Mix things up a litte.." he said with a grin. Saix knew that nothing could touch him, I mean if what would be the problem? They probably just went to dispose of the intruder. Thats Saix's specialty after all...

I'm half a sleep and like...weird right now so lol be prepared.

The blonde slightly winced as voices echoed the corridor. But, he felt no pain as he did last time. Infact...he could actually hear the voices. It wasn't his mind playing tricks.

Laythe dashed across the hallway in an instant, shoving the wide marble door open, revealing a long staircase. He ran up it, losing his balance close to the top but steadily catching himself. Bursting through the door infront of him, he found himself infront of several unfirmilar figures.

"Who...who are you?"

Demyx was slightly startled by the uninvited guest. In his eyes the blonde boy was already a nuisance,"That is none of your concern..." he snapped quickly in a low raspy tone of voice, not so much threatning but more a sign of irritation. He shot a wondering glance towards both Zexion and Saix but decided not to say a single word.

Ne...Saix and Demyx better stick to their little plan, I'll handle Laythe.

Zexion heard one of the doors from above burst open. He whispered a name before disappearing into the shadows. On the one of the floors was an open door and a blonde in the doorway. "You're Laythe?"

"Cut the act Deymx. Thats no way to treat our guest." said Saix turning toward him. He was about to say something when Zexion appeared. he glaerd at the insolent figure as he appeared in front of them.

"Step aside Zexion, you have Kane to deal with. Deymx and I have this covered." said Saix waving his hand. he didn't like how someone suddenly interupts his game.

Okay, plan B. Where's the popcorn? I'm gonna sit and watch this

Zexion let out an apathetic sigh. "Alright. Go ahead. I'll just watch." He stepped aside, wondering if Saix was going to kill Laythe like he did with the girl. Shaking his head, Zexion leaned against the back wall.

"Finally you've come to your sense Zexion." said Saix as a flash ofl ight appeared in his hands and the sword he has held appeared. Pointing it at Laythe he smiled. "Haven't you read the sign...No intruders." said Saix. He had an idea of who this was but didn't have much information on him.

Deymx glared at Laythe as he slyly smiled at him. He didn't have to say much Saix had said it all and now it would be time for the physical action. Inflicting pain would be quite enjoyable especially since it also seemed to relieve stress,"So is there anything you must say before we begin?" he asked.

He was looking through the crystal. "I doubt that weakling Demyx will be able to defeat the intruder, but as long as saix is there it might be a worthehile fight" he looked at Zexion. "hmmm, lets see what Zexion plans to do"

Zexion let out a sigh as Xaldin appeared next to him. "No, I hadn't found anything." He simply replied, looking through the viewing crystal, ignoring the fight in front of him. "And I don't think I need to look through her memories anymore. You can destroyed the card or give it to Vexen's homuculus of her when she meets Kane."

You've probably noticed the red asterisks on your latest posts. All but one or two of you have them, I believe. I'm here to let you know why that is.

I don't know if you've been watching the news forum, or if you read the forum rules before you joined. Honestly, judging by the last few sessions, I'm not sure. But, for your information, we have two main requirements on SDM:

-Five line/paragraph minimum; two, three lines does NOT constitute a paragraph.
-Basic English; honestly, the bare minimum what your teacher would expect of you when turning in a paper. If English isn't your first language, PM a mod/admin; we'll cut you some slack.

Your posts were asterisked because you haven't been adhering to one or more of the aforementioned requirements.

We don't expect novel-quality work on here; however, we stress quality over quantity. PLEASE keep this in mind.

Us admins and mods have been letting this slip way too long, because we've been more concerned with getting CO active. But this is becoming a problem.

I'm warning you now; if you guys don't start making these posts longer than two sentences, some warnings might be issued. It's the last thing I want to do, but if it comes to that, and the other admins/mods agree, I will do it.

With that in mind, back to RPing.

"I honestly have no idea what you're talking about..." The blonde answered with a smirk, "But if it's a fight you're looking for, you've certainly found one."

He made no movement as his hands began to glow, two keyblades materializing within them. The weight that was added pulled him down a little bit, but it would only help him position himself for battle. Glancing the light colored key, he swung it with ease, looking back at his opposers.

"Don't hold back, just because I'm still a kid doesn't mean I'm weak." Laythe called out with a scowl, a memory beginning to surface. The white key, it held some sort of promise within it. But what that promise was, he couldn't remember, although it felt as if it were at the tip of his tongue.

Axel swayed on his feet, uncerimoniously deposited by the warp point. The after-effects were always a bitch, but it was a lot better than, say, walking the entire castle.

Once he had his center of balance back, he started down the hall, hoping that he had the right floor, and that he wasn't going to miss all the fun.

He pulled a crystal out of his coat that he'd slipped in, just in case. After swirling it around once to give it a chance to recover from the trip, he looked in it.

It wasn't the scene he'd expected; Zexion, Demyx and Saix, grouped together in one of the many empty white halls. However, the other golden-haired, sea-eyed occupant of the hall, dual Keyblades held at the ready, was the last person he'd ever expected to see again.

"Roxas?"

"So is it a fight you're looking for? Or is it something else?" Roxas asked again, impaitent. If this guy did want a fight, the least he could was start the fight instead of holding it off.

Finally, the blonde lost it and charged at the man infront of him, "Answer me!"

Whether Roxas had just got himself into a fight he could not win, he didn't know, nor really care. All he cared about was this guy was seriously pissing him off by being silent.

1st post...I dunno if theres another xaldin...but, well, here I am...

"What is this?" Xaldin rasped as he materialised behind Saix, breaking the silence.

"Ah, Roxas, the key of destiny. Put your weapons away, you woudn't want to hurt someone would you?" He smirked at the sapphire-eyed boy. And by the look of it, his provoke seemed to be working.

"No? Then I suppose your pain will be much worse!" He shouted as 6 lances appeared in front of him, floating around him, ready to strike the blonde.

Roxas stopped in his tracks and jumped backward, the man's lances catching him slightly off guard.

Smirking slighty, the blonde replied in a cold laugh, "You wish."

Roxas stuck his keyblades into the marble floor, creating enough force to flip over his opponent, and hopefully, if he had moved at a fast enough speed, he would succeed in a suprise attack from the behind.

Dashing forward, he exclaimed, "HAA!!"

Axel watched in somewhat sickened horror as Roxas rushed Xaldin. What the hell was Blondie thinking? Actually, the better question was, was Blondie even thinking?

He promptly turned on his heels and headed back for the warp point. Sure, he had no clue whatsoever where the kid was, but he'd search every damned floor to find him, even if he had to puke up anything he'd eaten and his guts while he was at it.

He'd let the kid get away once. That wouldn't happen this time.

To our new Xaldin: Yeah, there was a Xaldin before you. Just read the last ...two? three? something like that sessions to catch up. And welcome!^^

"You are making this harder than it should be!" Xaldin said calmly as he quickly got up from the staggering force created from the shock, blocking the keyblades just as they fell against one of his lances.

Although he blocked it, the strike was beggining to be too much for him. As the
pressure started to build up, he thought, This is it.
Despite the effort, he gasped as the keyblades broke his lance.
At this moment, he sat on the floor, exhausted, equipped with only 5 lances, waiting for the blonde to finish this...

Roxas stared down upon his opponent, lowering his weapons. He prepared to unequip the keys, but then thought of a last effort chance that the man would make if he wasn't prepared.

"Be lucky I don't like wasting my energy on killing weak opponents." Roxas muttered, beginning to walk away but keeping an eye on the guy he had left behind him. The blonde knew he was exhausted, but no one wanted to loose a battle that quick, though reckless he was most likely going to go for a suprise attack with the last of his energy. Technically there was no point in Roxas sparing him, because with the use of his last energy for that last attack, the impact of Roxas' blades would probably do him in.

Xaldin chuckled as he drew out a cure card.
The card gleamed bright yellow before fading into nothing and healing xaldin's cuts and bruises.
"The same as always, roxas...never quite strong enough to defeat anyone..." Xaldin hissed as his lances meltied into nothing...
He still had one more trick up his sleeve, unknown by the overconfident blond.
He reached into his pocket...and drew an aero card, which glistened and vanished as a swirling gust of wind twirled toward eoxas, as xaldin's final trick.

Axel jammed his hand down onto the warp point, almost breaking it in the process. That pain, combined with the nausea-inducing effects of the warp point just about knocked him off his feet. But still, the moment he was deposited, he was off, stumbling almost drunkenly into various walls, pedestals, et cetera on his way down the hall.

He could hear the sounds of spears and Keyblade meeting, of one shattering, and the various grunts and groans made in the heat of battle coming from down the hall as he weaved down the it; he could only hope that he didn't get there too late.

Axel came into the open space just in time to see Roxas lower his guard and Xaldin throw an Aero spell almost guaranteed to knock him off his feet, almost always the latter's way of throwing his opponent off-guard before spearing them through, his way.

No way in hell he was going to let that happen.

He pulled his chakrams out of thin air, bought one arm to rest over the other across his chest, and then threw them out sideways, from wall to wall all in one smooth move that took but a few seconds. A trail of fire blazed in their wake and created a wall of fire that kept Xaldin on one side and him and Roxas on the other; Axel kept the chakrams supsended so that the wall stayed that way; he didn't know how long he could hold it, though. Hopefully, it would be long enough that they could get away.

He casually sauntered over to Roxas, a wide smirk spreading across his face, on the verge of turning itno a true smile. This was too good to be true.

"Always getting yourself into trouble, aren't you, Roxy?"

"He does, doesn't he brother axel?" The voice boomed from behind the wall.
"And you!" He rasped while pointing to axel
"Must you always be the one to meddle? It's getting quite annoying"
'Do I personally have to deal with you?"
He focused his energy as he rematerialised his lances.
"I'll put a stop to your foolish intervening!" He said as he threw a lance right through the wall.

The solid echo of his feet clad in combat boots ricocheted down the corridor. The man with the flowing silver hair stepped confidently, his stride filled with the easy gait of purpose. His black leather outfit was filled out nicely by his muscular barrel-chest, his flawless, smooth skin claiming a healthy tone. His normally emerald eyes, gleamed with the soft glow of exposure to mako, were they visible.

His eyes were closed, though, indicating tha the was completely at ease with his surroundings. These figures around him were squabbling amongst them...hardly fitting for members of an elite group. Though appearently, there were bound to be cracks in any group. Not everyone could get along as smoothly as the pieces of Jenova.

One of his hands curled relaxedly around the hilt of his long...long...long sword, the Masamune slung over his shoulder and streching several feet out behind him, mingling easily with his shimmering locks.

The SOLDIER known as Sephiorth stood watching the interaction as it occured from a distance, a quiet, bemeaused quirk to his mouth as he watched the interplay, and he said nothing.

Chaos reigned in the souls of all men, and these mean, Nobodies or otherwise, were no exception. After all, having a heart and having a soul was not the same thing. Sephiroth himself knew all too well that men could have souls but be without their heart.

Intrigued, he leaned against the wall, whipping the Masamune easily off his shoulder so it wouldn't obstruct, letting it hang loosly towards the ground.

Things, it seemed, were getting more and more interesting.
