I noticed the wording of that as well. I sure hope that is what it means. Bo needs couch time on these shows. They wouldn't be disappointed because he is a great person to interview.

I wonder what time in the day it tapes....Are you (or any of our other west coasters) going to try to make it Jeannine? B)

zoo - April 27, 2006 04:07 PM (GMT)
I'll be there, Julie. I have my ticket. I have to be there by 4 PM, so I'm assuming it tapes around 5 or 6.

That show tapes on Monday and BB day is on Friday. I think that he will get there if that is his plan.

Zoo, have fun today!!! I wonder what they plan to play?! TRT? UMMB? VOA? LBB? Yeah, ok, so maybe not LBB since I'm batting 0 for 1000 on that request so far  but no matter what it is, I'm excited for tonight!

Yeah, ok, so maybe not LBB

That mofo hasn't been played since BayFest.....along with Witness <_< (not that I'm counting or anything :ph43r: why do these guys rehearse songs, only to play them a few times and leave the poor little things out there in the Great Song Beyond to wither away and only be remembered in our dreams?!? Okay, yea, that was a bit dramatic. But I have a point ;) ). But yes, it would ROCK to hear it on TV. Actually to hear it ANYWHERE really. LOL

Tonight I'm hoping for UMMB (and TRT too actually, that song grows on me more and more everytime I listen to it) and VoA. LOVE both of those songs, and I wanna hear UMMB mainly cause I'd love for that to be the next single.

YAY for some BB&S$ on TV tonight! peace_man yaysmiley

Actually, I did hear they played LBB at Nashville's soundcheck. So, there is still hope we will hear it again someday! peace_man Maybe they're saving it for their next CD??? B) OR, maybe they're saving it for when I'm there to witness it! Yeah, yeah, that's it! *choke*

Anyway, I'm hoping for a nice long segment of couch time for Bo to entertain Craig tonight and maybe they'll let us hear TWO songs!? peace_man Well, no matter what...one or two...it will be so much fun to see them on TV again! yaysmiley

Thanks, Pam, love you for sharing that news. I can't wait to hear more from our Zoo and then to actually see the show. I need to get on chat so you guys can keep me awake long enough to watch it.

I love Zoo - she is so pure and full of joy in this experience. Mofo to anyone that says anything otherwise.

kap - May 9, 2006 03:38 AM (GMT)
I hope they show both songs! Two songs and some chatting with Bo on the couch? Who could ask for more? Oh, I suppose I could ask for 10 songs with LBB mixed in there, but two will work for now! ;) And, I hope we do get to see Nothing Without You. I remember that was one of my favorites when I first heard the songs on the CD (yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm a sucker for love songs), so it'd be fun to see it done by these guys! One hour and counting! YAY! yaysmiley

Jeanne - May 9, 2006 03:49 AM (GMT)
happydance I thought I was excited already, but after reading that they did two songs and that Bo did get couch time well... woohoo

Those guys are lookin' soooooo good!!! Wow! HH who? ;) HAAATA is all I gotta say!

And, they nailed that song too! They looked comfortable, confident, and well, just sounded awesome!

Yeah, they are soooo MADE for this stuff! It seems to come so natural to them... and they radiate an energy on stage that just makes me smile :D

And, the couch time? Loved it! And, I agree...was nice that it wasn't ALL ABOUT IDOL and about how he feels about Carrie Underwood. Real stuff...funny stuff...yeah, great interview!

Now, who's comin' with me to beat down the door of CBS to demand the NWY video??? <_<

Bliss - May 9, 2006 06:17 AM (GMT)
I'll bang on it with ya Kristi!! <_< When I heard they had done it I was hoping to see it too. *pray* I was thoroughly impressed with TRT even though Bo has been plugging that song for half a year now. Is that the normal rate of releasing songs? idunno He always pulls me in with that sparkle in his eyes though...one smile from that boy and I'm toast! thud So, at the end of the day I really don't care what songs they do, I'm just so happy they were on tv!! happydance I do wish Coke WOULD offer that boy a jingle deal...he does seem to want it.

Bo sounded better than ever and I know it's vain but I really LOVED how he had his beard shaved. It was cool! They all looked and sounded great! thumbsup Great interview too.

I just have to say hot HOT Coop was looking too...he deserved his own sentance of gushing tonight IMO! ;)

Okay…quick recap. I got to CBS around 3 PM after getting off work. At first, they wouldn’t let me into the lot…wanted me to come back after 10 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to go around the block twice and I pleaded with them the second time to let me stay and not go back out into traffic again. They took pity on me and let me park and told me to line up at the gate on the street. I was the first one in line but was joined by others pretty quickly. Patty (Bodacious Mama) joined me in line and also Sandi (Santina). The line kept growing and we didn’t have to stay there too long before we were led to a waiting area and put on benches. There we stayed for a while talking and taking bathroom breaks. It was there that I ran into Ken (laxguy). So we had a few people there from some forums. The warmup guy joined us and started getting us warmed up before going up to the studio area. He told us we were not regular audience members…they were in their homes watching TV. He told us we were audience enhancers. We were told to laugh a lot…blah, blah, blah. blahblahblah The usual stuff.

We were led up the stairs to the studio. The studio was small It was a small audience…maybe around 100? The stage area was very small. Tommy’s keyboards were off to the side, the stage was so small. Did I say small? Talk about overuse of a word. It was nice seeing familiar guitars sitting there….a comforting feeling to know who was nearby. The first thing that happened once Craig Ferguson came out was Bo and S$ were introduced and they came out and played TRT. I thought they sounded great. I haven’t seen the show here on the west coast yet, but they sure sounded wonderful live. After that, they performed Nothing Without You. I loved the way it was performed. To me, it was even better than the CD version. They had to play NWY a second time. I’m not sure why, because they sounded great the first time. I wasn’t about to complain, though. After they were done, they left the stage area. I will backtrack and say that the guys did see us in the audience and we got a wave. Hopefully they enjoyed having familiar faces in the audience. The warmup guy caught me waving to Shane and began teasing me about it. Later he did give me a baseball cap to take home, which I gave to my husband…he loves caps. I think he enjoyed our enthusiasm. Easy for us to do considering who we were cheering for. ;)

Craig then did his monologue and a skit and then Bo came on again for his interview. He did so very well. I’m not surprised, though…Bo always interviews so well. He seemed relaxed and happy and looked great. They all looked great, in fact. thud

After Bo’s interview finished, they taped another performer singing and interviewing. I think it was Sara somebody from Grey’s Anatomy. She did very well.

When it was time to leave, we were led out and that was that. Sandi, Patty and I went to eat at Cantor’s and enjoyed sitting and talking before going our separate ways.

I can’t wait to see the show. If it is anything like what I saw, you all will be happy. I heard that they only played TRT. I’m bummed about that, but, hopefully, they will air NWY at a later date…hopefully soon. I’m proud of Bo and SugarMoney, as usual. They never disappoint.

Jeannine

happydance Thank you zoo! I always love to read your recaps! Felt like I was right there waving at the guys with ya!

LadyLee - May 9, 2006 07:39 AM (GMT)
Tonight's performance was awesome. Thanks so much Zoo for the recap. I'm glad the guys were able to see you all in the audience. I know they love being out there and I'm sure it's a great feeling when the get to see familiar faces. I'm glad Bo got some couch time this time too, and YAY that they talked about some different things. *fingers crossed* that we'll get to see Nothing Without You sometime soon. thumbsup

NYnancy - May 9, 2006 07:44 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the recap Jeannine! thumbsup Here from TV land, Bo and the guys looked and sounded great! I was thrilled that Bo got "couch time", and of course it was another perfect interview from our guy! happydance

Suedel - May 9, 2006 10:38 AM (GMT)
As always, Jeannine, excellent recap. I'm so glad a few of you were there to represent!

reen - May 9, 2006 11:09 AM (GMT)
Always love your recaps Zoo. Thanks.

Last nights show was sure worth being tired this morning. The guys were amazing and Bo's interview was just too cute. sugarmoney_rocks

bebe - May 9, 2006 11:16 AM (GMT)
There was no way I could stay up and watch it - so I just watched it now. What a great performance and although I'm disappointed that we didn't get both songs the couch time was great!! It was worth missing a song to get Bo and his great personality. People must see Bo in interviews to really understand who he is. I would think interviewers would be falling all over themselves to get him as a guest - he's such a fun interview!

And, Jeannine - thanks for the recap - always look forward to them!

pilatesgirl - May 9, 2006 12:13 PM (GMT)
Thanks Zoo for another great recap. So glad that the guys had familiar faces in the crowd. I loved Bo last night. He looked wonderful and he sounded fantastic. I smiled all the way through his interview. Bo is an interviewers dream. The guys were all so yummy too and they sounded great. I was so proud. I hope CBS at least puts NWY up on their website for us to hear.

grace - May 9, 2006 12:44 PM (GMT)
thanks, Zoo, for sharing everything with us. You rock.

The guys sounded absolutely wonderful and looked like pros. They are the real hired hotties thing! Bo just looked fantabulous, as always. He needs to wear that white shirt more often - loved it!

Jeanne - May 9, 2006 01:10 PM (GMT)
sugarmoney_rocks bo_mic Bo and the guys looked and sounded great...they are real pros now! Made me proud to be a fan of these fantastic souls.

Good job Bo, Chris, Heath, Coop, Tommy and Shane !!!!!!!!!!!

Earthdreamer - May 9, 2006 01:18 PM (GMT)
Thanks so much for your recap Jeannine. Even as I was watching last night I was looking forward to reading it because knowing that you & others are there as emissaries, if you will, makes me feel more connected. I was thinking what a surreal experience it must be for Bo & S$ sometimes - to go from bar gigs to being on national television & the wild ride in between. I would guess that seeing familiar faces probably keeps them grounded & you know it has to feel good to feel the love that you bring from all of us. I love your generosity in letting us be a part.

BoLisa - May 9, 2006 02:11 PM (GMT)
First I want to say what a sweetheart Heath is to send around that message on myspace! From what I've seen of him, he is a genuinely nice person!

Secondly, thank you Zoo for the wonderful recap. I looked for you in the audience, but I must admit, I did keep my eyes glued to Bo and the guys! Bo did an amazing job on TRT. And Kris had that hair all ironed out...hot looking, Mr. Man!

Bo is such a natural when it comes to interviews. He never seems nervous in the least and is so funny. I enjoyed hearing about his former job and other out of the ordinary things. Craig did a wonderful job interviewing him.

Bravo, SugarMoney, you did a fabulous performance!! rock_on

TexasBoFan - May 9, 2006 02:14 PM (GMT)
Awesome performance and interview. Loved every second of it! Our guys are stars!! cheerstoya
