Hey everyone! As you can see, we've made some changes to the forum.
Since this forum was started, our focus has always been to support each and every member of Bo Bice & Sugarmoney, both as a band and as individual musicians. As we all know, many of the members of the band have been and continue to be involved in separate projects, which include working on their own music as well as writing and playing with other talented musicians. Over the past year, the scope of this forum has reached far beyond the four walls of Bo Bice & SugarMoney land. Our recaps, pictures, videos, and overall discussion now include much, much more. We've had the pleasure of seeing Kris share the bill with Patrick Mitchell, Thomas play keys with Stephen Cochran, Bo share the stage with Gary Nichols and Chris Tompkins, and Kris, Coop, and Shane join Eric Maddox and Brian Altman on stage. We decided that with the new year, we would bring a new forum format that would give fans the ability to show their support for these individual musicians as they continue to make music and pursue their dreams. As you will see, several threads have been moved and new folders for 2007 have been created. Nothing has been removed from the forum, so if you have trouble finding a thread or discussion, please don't hesitate to contact either Julie or me via PM, and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction. The last two years have brought us great music, great friendships, and lots of frequent flyer miles! As always, Live Music Matters... Julie & Kristi |

Well...you've really left me reeling. I can't find old threads, the search enjine doesn't work. It looks to me like this forum's administrators have decided that Sugarmoney is disbanded and needs no confirmation from Bo's "official" site. I'm not comfortable with that, it's too much like the past "Heath has left Sugarmoney" RUMOR that was corrected at bobice.com! This fan forum is (was?) my "Bo Home", purely because it was the only one that recognized Bo's bond with his band'brothers'. Maybe I'd better take some time to acclimate to the change here. Right now I'm NOT a happy camper. |

Right now, they are pursuing all sorts of exciting directions. I think these changes are great because here, at least in my opinion, it has always been about each and every one of them. That concept has never changed. I think the changes here are perfect because they reflect what is going on now. Who knows what will happen in the future? What I have learned this past year and a half is that nothing stays the same. Things are always changing. We have had the opportunity to meet some very talented and wonderful people....and the circle keeps enlarging to include even more.

roxanne, We promise its not a conspiracy As Kristi and I said above, the best possible way to show support of all of these guys is to support what they're doing right now. Support Thomas on Steven Cochran's site and tell them what a great keyboard player they have on their hands, support Kris's original music at his site, etc. What we’ve decided is to revamp the forum and streamline some things, making it as user friendly as it always has been. -------------------- Julie

Hey, I think it looks fantastic in here! Great job!
Kristi and Julie have to be THE most organized admins I've ever seen. I was a little afraid that this board might just fade away, but I'm so happy that you've made these changes. Yes, change is always hard, but without change there is no growth, and we all want nothing more for all of these guys to grow bigger and better careers, in whatever direction they desire. I'm really excited about whatever is ahead for all of them, whether it's with SM or not. Oh, and are there going to be new buttons and banners made? I know we have some updating to do on myspace and the other boards. Congrats on a great job, this is awesome! |

I'm not a frequent visitor, but I do stop by occasionally. As some may know, I'm an admin at another Bo board, and I also have been challenged by the changes in the Bo Bice world and how to reflect them on my board.
While I agree we don't know what the nature of SugarMoney will be in the future, I really like these changes, because it allows people to feel comfortable supporting Bo, while also supporting his bandmates/friends (because they ARE still his friends) in their individual endeavors. Right now, Bo is doing an acoustic thing. Great for him. It's bringing new musicians into our world, people we can listen to and enjoy. As we all know, any Bo is good Bo I hope people will give these changes a chance. As we move forward in 2007, I cannot WAIT to see what additional changes we'll have the opportunity to enjoy. New music, new friends, more fun, and yes, more frequent flyer miles P.S. Kristi and Julie, love the board. Wish I had thought of "The Men and Their Music" |

We (TheBiceSquad.Net) also moved our "sugarmoney" stuff to a new section with threads for each of the guys and the guys Bo is working with now. Changes... what would the world be like without them? lol
ETA: Duh, I came in to say "great job" and totally forgot...lmao. Great job ladies! This post has been edited by dianelev on Mar 13 2007, 10:12 AM -------------------- |

Roxanne, I understand your frustration. My head was spinning just moving threads around, so I can't imagine how it feels to come in here and see SO MUCH changed. BUT, please do know that our hearts ARE in the right place with this, and I hope with time, we can all adjust to the new look, layout, etc. and continue to have fun coming together to show the love to these great guys. We haven't decided that SugarMoney is no longer a band...but we have seen this forum grow into something far beyond simply a place to support the band Bo Bice & SugarMoney. We have seen the guys doing great things - solo gigs, teaming up with other musicians, etc., and as these guys continue to do what they do, we just wanted to make it more fan friendly when it comes to supporting them, both as a band and as individual musicians chasing their dreams. As said above, if you have trouble finding a thread or folder, PLEASE don't hesitate to PM us. We will definitely do our best to make the transition to the new format as user friendly as possible. ETA: Yes, Paris, I'll work on buttons/banners in the next few days. |

Kristi and Julie you did a fantastic job on the site...I never posted a lot but I did come to read and look at pictures, and changing all of this was hard work and I am glad that you have opened the doors for everyone to support the individual things that the guys are doing!
Great Job! |

I think you did a fantastic job reorganizing. Our circle keeps growing and you have enlarged it to include everyone. I like that you've closed no doors, just opened new ones. YAY!

I think the forum is looking great. I'll find everything I'm sure once I get use to the new layout. It's still a work in progress.
As the guys musical endeavors grow and change so must we. I see this as a good thing. The CIRCLE is expanding and we must have a way to include all the new "players" in this expansion. More talent, more concerts, more fun, more friends is how I see it. Now, off to the suggestion thread.... or should I wait a few days? -------------------- $ue

Agreed! That's what's so cool about this whole thing - the circle just keeps getting bigger and bigger, and if you listen to people like Stephen Cochran and his Outlaws, Crow (Stonecrossing) or Eric Maddox and Brian Altman (Ole Mill South) you can see THEY feel it too! There is so much energy coming from all of us! And I think most of us are enjoying the different things the guys are doing...so MUCH to look forward to! -------------------- Jackie

When I saw the change, I'll admit I was sad, but I understand what you guys did. I've never liked change, but realize you don't have to like it, you just have to live with it. And this is something I can live with. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for all these talented men.
