Welcome to Tealita
IC Sub-Plot

A drunken Ranger is odd enough—but a drunken Ranger, a stalker-esque Werewolf, two leopards, one ocelot, and the annoyed Captain of said Ranger makes it own little circus with a soap opera sideshow—leave it to the Rangers to hog all the drama.

The two brothers Salkiir and Dajyani come to a head, pulling knives on each other with a slightly aggravated (not to mention much ignored) Morningstar caught in the middle. There there lads—didn’t your mother ever tell you to wait until the lights went out before trying stab each other in the back?

Jarad Cappeshan and Captain Mest of the Order have decided to take a leaf out of the Thieves’ book, and have kidnapped Synan, Dajyani’s fiancée, to further convince the Ricolan leader to back off.

Ervis’kale’s hatred of one Shadow Shamal comes to a bitter end as the two enemies face off in the Grey Waste—will it be the cold, calculating Shadow who comes out victorious or will the impassioned, virtuous Guardsmen save the day?

Announcements

Tealita is officially moving! We're going to be hosted at www.tealita.com by phpBB (byebye invision) and we'll be opening there officially in the next week or so, so I'd recommend applying. And stuff. (=

The Activity Check is closed, but if you think about it I don't really need to delete anyone, because everyone who's active will be transfering to t.com, and anyone on the Circle of Life and possibly Absence list will have an account made for them and be emailed their password.

I can't think of anything else, other than I will try to update more often. ^_^;;

Thought to be a relative of the Towyn, thanks to their superior attitude towards humans, and similar body-build, these blue-grey fellows can often be found near ponds and slow-moving streams. Though they seem to dislike moving water, when the need arises, they have been known to float downriver in stolen boats and rafts. Trow are far more social than their green cousins, and wander in family groups. While they don't seem to enjoy playing pranks per say, they will often strike impossible bargains with desperate humans, and when the human cannot keep to their side of the wager, they will curse he or she by means of removing one of their five senses, or the use of a limb.

The Trow detest laziness in humans, as well as gluttony and greed, and will severly punish any human showing hints of this in the manner mentioned above. There are many ways to repel the pranksters and various malicious beings related to the Trow, the most common of these being ability to beat the creatures at any various word game, or by carrying a defensive staff of Rowan or Ash. Typically, a weakness of the Towyn and Trow lies in the use of iron against them. They cannot stand the touch, nor, it is rumoured, the scent, of pure iron.

Small as the Towyn, the Trow possess neither horns nor thick hair, and instead don ragged human clothes, which serve as protection from the elements. With long nails and a near-identical build to the Towyn, these mortal-hating beasts obey none but themselves, (and on occasion the Fae), prey to the same name-binding rules as the elegant descendants of Rialle.

And it was raining cats and dogs outside of her window
And she knew they'd be destined to become sacred road kill on the way
And she was listening to the sound of Havens shaking
Thinking about puddles, puddles and mistakes

Speak low if you speak love. It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.
