Announcements
Tealita is officially moving! We're going to be hosted at www.tealita.com by phpBB (byebye invision) and we'll be opening there officially in the next week or so, so I'd recommend applying. And stuff. (=
The Activity Check is closed, but if you think about it I don't really need to delete anyone, because everyone who's active will be transfering to t.com, and anyone on the Circle of Life and possibly Absence list will have an account made for them and be emailed their password.
I can't think of anything else, other than I will try to update more often. ^_^;;
Miscellaneous

((Erin's internet is screwed up))
Kiir smiled, turning his head to the sun to the sun. In a moment, the warmth of the sun disappeared to his darkly tanned skin, and he was in the shade of a gate. Here he stopped, slipping easily into one of the guard’s quarters. His companions clambered in behind him, Yavshi flicking her tail to avoid getting it crushed in the heavy wooden door. The heat was nothing compared to the stuffy humidity of Lithka, and Kiir didn’t pause to reflect. None of the guards took a break here during such a heat swell—those who did discovered that the heat made them prone to falling asleep, and their superiors were swift to respond to a napping guard who was not doing his duty of checking for knives. Which, by the way, Kiir wasn’t wearing. Okay, well, he did have one. But that didn’t count; it was a safety precaution, and he was rather certain that anyone who actually knew how to use a weapon smuggled it in past the guards. Otherwise, he had lawfully and dutifully deposited the majority of his arms at his residence in the Hideaway. He had a few things from Lithka he was carrying to a certain merchant in the Bazaar, and he was looking for…well, no matter what he was looking for. It didn’t do well to speak of such business out loud. Plus he might drop by the weapon’s district to browse through the wares for bargains. There was always something ironic in such a system, but then again, guards were hawk-eyed in that district and confiscated purchased weapons until you left the Bazaar.
Kiir paused a moment, helping himself to a long drink from the water of a few of the guards before slipping out the other door, emerging into the little used, little known quarters of the Bazaar guards. A few off-duty men dozed on their bunks or played cards and dice. Before protest towards his presence—and the presence of two clouded leopards—could make itself known, Kiir slipped out a window, dropping to the ground and straightening with a cheerful smile up at a few of the guards yelling down at him. With a wink and a wave, he set off down the backstreets, nodding a polite hello at the few who knew how to navigate these narrow avenues.
It was a grand ole day, wasn't it? How's about finding a bar? He strode into one such shop a few minutes later, and ordered a nicely iced water after taking a seat at the bar.
